You are bidding on a 2007 DODGE CHARGER SXT. This car has a beautiful Dark Gray exterior with black interior. This has the more sporty 3.5L engine and All Wheel Drive (Great for winters in the Northeast). This vehicle is in very good condition, runs and drives perfectly fine and all electronics work as they should. It was salvaged because of Sandy, and the water barely reached the tires. Everything works perfectly fine on this vehicle. This car normally sells for around $10000-$12000. This car is being driven daily so the car may have slightly more miles on it. The car does not smell like there was any water in it and like I said the car runs and drives just like a brand new vehicle. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL DENT/SCRAPE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE BY THE REAR BUMPER (see picture). Car will be sold as-is with a NY SALVAGE CERTIFICATE. It is a rebuildable Title. Detroit Auto Show prankster 'damages' hundreds of thousands of dollars of cars
Thu, Jan 29 2015Obtaining credentials for an auto show is generally a pretty selective process, especially at one of the world's premier shows, like Geneva, Los Angeles or Detroit. That didn't stop online prankster Dennis Roady from getting credentialed for the 2015 North American International Auto Show on behalf of a Russian YouTube channel to cover the show. While he wasn't brought on strictly to cause mischief, Roady couldn't help but have some fun at the expense of the product specialists during the serious business of covering the show. He took to an app called "Dude, Your Car," which allows Apple iPhone users to take snaps of vehicles and then edit them to add some serious, but fake, dents and scratches. Naturally, the pranking session was caught on video, where you can enjoy the sight of poor product specialists freaking out over damage to vehicles ranging from the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to the Audi R8 and a lovely Dodge Challenger. Has Dodge stepped in it again with Scat Pack lawsuit?
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Lawsuits are an unfortunate part of doing business in just about any industry, so the latest complaint filed by a California-based aftermarket firm against Chrysler would seem to be nothing more than business as usual. But this isn't the first time the two companies have sparred over this particular issue.
According to a report from Automotive News, the dispute revolves around the Scat Pack name that Chrysler first offered on the Charger, Coronet, Dart and Super Bee starting in 1968. Scat Enterprises, a manufacturer of crankshafts and other components for Dodges and other vehicles, sued Chrysler for using its name. A few years later the Scat Pack disappeared from the Dodge catalog.
Fast forward to August 2013 when Chrysler applied to register the Scat Pack name anew. The US Patent and Trademark Office turned down Chrysler's application, but the automaker proceeded anyway, unveiling new Scat Packs for the Challenger, Charger and Dart at last year's SEMA show.
Defiance Dodge Charger, saving Earth from aliens isn't clean work [w/video]
Fri, 08 Feb 2013You'll be forgiven for not having heard about the TV show Defiance - it actually hasn't aired its first episode yet. The new science fiction show about an alien war against Earth in the near future seems like a perfect fit for the SyFy channel, and, apparently one that Dodge saw as a slick marketing opportunity for its Charger sedan.
Here in Chicago, Dodge has given a large corner of its show stand to the Defiance Charger, a car that won't be skipped by any Mad Max fans in attendance at this year's show. The Charger boasts one hell of a gnarly patina under a confusingly welded cage of tube steel, as well as window bars, a grille guard in front, and big, knobby truck tires. There aren't any obvious guns or turrets on the outside of the vehicle, so we can only hope that the characters driving it go well-armed.
Look for the Charger to make its star turn in Defiance when the series premieres on SyFy on April 15 at 9:00 PM EST. Also, there's said to be a Defiance video game in the works, too, so you may get a chance to steer the burly Dodge for yourself. Find a trailer for the show, below, as well.
