I am selling my 2007 Dodge Charger Daytona Sublime. It is #652 of 1500 that were made. It currently has 132,xxx miles. I am the second owner of this awesome car and I have had it a little over 3 years. I wanted to keep this car forever as it is obviously a rare collectible, but I am getting married in the fall and have to save up to make the lady happy, so some of the toys have to go!
This Charger has a 5.7L V8 Hemi engine, Automatic with the 5 speed Autostick that lets you drive it as a stick shift if you like. This car has a lot of power and really flies. The interior is really cool with black leather and suede heated ventilated seats that are stitched in the sublime color. The dash is also sublime with brushed aluminum. The headrests have "Daytona" stitched into them. This car retailed for $36K when new.
This car is in very good condition but I believe in being 100% honest so I will give you every detail that should be addressed. Outside of the normal wear and tear and small dings for a 6 year old car, there are a few things to mention:
- About 2 months ago I hit a small grate in the road that put a crack in the lower front ground effect on the front bumper. I have attached a pic of this. This is all cosmetic that I would have eventually had fixed but it does not effect the driving of the car.
-When I hit that grate, it poked through and popped a hole in the tubing of the AC so the AC currently does not work. I would have gotten this fixed with summer fast approaching but due to my selling of the vehicle it was not an added expense I wanted to do.
These are the only issues to note other than some minor cosmetic things such as the leather on the driver seat has some tears due to daily use of getting in and out, some very small stains in the interior, and a couple small dings here and there.
I have taken into account the two big issues above into my price by lowering my asking price by $1,500. This is more than what my mechanic family member has estimated the cost to fix both.
The car has been good to me. I have done regular maintenance with oil changes every 3-4K miles, spark plugs replaced, brakes replaced, etc. and the car has never given me any problems. This is a really fun car to drive and you will get noticed and have people comment on it EVERY time you are out driving. Like I said, I wish I could keep it forever but I guess I will have to buy another one someday down the line.
Please feel free to email me with any questions. You are more than welcome to have a mechanic check it out to confirm its condition. I work in Buckhead and live in Sandy Springs so I can meet you anywhere reasonable if you would like to take a test drive.
I believe I have put a very fair price on this car so please don't low ball me any offers. I am not desperate, nor do I have to sell the car. I have, and will be, 100% honest with you so all I ask is that you do the same. The car is currently financed so we (I) would have to get that squared away during the buying process, which I will try to make as easy as possible.

The Dodge Demon gets a Drag Mode and a lesson in Newtonian physics
Thu, Feb 23 2017It's Thursday morning, which means we have more news on the upcoming Dodge Demon, the pumped-up Challenger Hellcat variant that's looking to cause mayhem at a drag strip near you. This week's video, "Third Law," shows the Demon's revised suspension in action and displays another one of SRT's cryptic messages. Dodge claims that the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 in the Hellcat twins is compromised because it's fitted to a car that needs to be comfortable on the street in addition to a performer on the drag strip. Not so with the Demon, as Dodge says the car is "designed to be highly competent in all drive modes and configurations," including the all-new Drag Mode. Dodge says details about the new mode will trickle out over the next few weeks, but all the info this week focused on suspension. The "Third Law" in this week's title refers to Isaac Newton and motion: "When one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the first body." We're not sure what Newton would have thought seeing the sidewall wrinkling Nitto NT05R drag radials in action, but he'd probably have a reaction of some sort himself. An ideal suspension setup for the drag strip makes for a poor setup on the road. As Dodge puts it, the "old school" way to set up a drag car was to "get the quickest reacting springs upfront, the softest rebound front shocks that wouldn't restrict the springs' reaction, remove any restrictions (sway bar) and increase the compression of the rear shocks." This would give a car great front to rear weight transfer but made for very poor lateral direction control, meaning minor corrections were difficult. The Demon's Drag Mode will use electronics to give the car the best combination of launch and lateral stability. Dodge listed some of the parts to help aid in this goal. They also gave us a few equations that we can't make sense of. Let us know if you have any clues. Hardware: 35 percent lower rate front springs/28 percent lower rate rear springs 75 percent lower rate hollow front sway bar/44 percent lower rate rear sway bar Drag-tuned Bilstein Adaptive Damping Shocks Software: Rear = F/F and Front = F/S F/F – F/S maintained @ wide open throttle (WOT) F/F – F/F < WOT Traction control disabled/ESC maintained Result: 13.5=575@500 Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad
Thu, 17 Jul 2014Watchers of the auto industry will notice a theme among the formerly bankrupted American automakers, General Motors and Chrysler. There are the post-bankruptcy vehicles, and the pre-bankruptcy vehicles. The former, in the case of Chrysler, include the Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well as the 200 and 300. For GM, there's the Cadillac ATS, Chevrolet Impala and Buick Encore, among others. These vehicles have the freshest styling, with sharp exteriors and well-crafted interiors, as well as advanced powertrains and well-sorted chassis.
As for the pre-bankruptcy vehicles, they tend to be easy to spot. Most suffer from inferior driving dynamics, cheaper interiors, poorer fuel economy and often homely looks (we know, there were some decent cars before the bankruptcy, but they were pretty heavily outweighed by the bad ones). Think late, last-generation Chevrolet Impala or Chrysler 200. Increasingly, though, we're seeing vehicles that split the balance between pre- and post-bankruptcy. Vehicles like the Dodge Journey.
The Journey debuted in 2007 as a 2008 model year vehicle, meaning it should fall into the latter category. But heavily breathed upon in 2011, it now enjoys a new, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a big, critically acclaimed touchscreen display and in the case of today's tester, a new-for-2014 Crossroad spec.
Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts
Tue, 08 Jul 2014When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
Scroll down to watch these two Hellcats to lay down enough smoke to alert the local hook and ladder trucks.
