1973 Dodge Charger Rallye This is a 1973 Dodge Charger Rallye edition. 2 Owner car -- 65,425 original miles. The car is a true Rallye edition with a High performance 340
Magnum engine and a 4 barrel carburetor,
727 slap shift automatic transmission,
8 3/4 sure grip rear end, front and
rear anti sway bars, dual exhaust, bucket seats, center console, power bulge
hood, and dual chrome racing mirrors. About the car: The second owner Arnie, a 68 year old man, has owned the
car since 1993. He only had put 6,000
miles on the vehicle since he has owned it driving it to car shows on the
weekends. The car has been garage kept since
new and owned by nonsmokers. The Charger comes with all original equipment. The color is HL4 Parchment. Some of the pictures almost show White due to the light, but it is a light tan color. The 340 Magnum runs strong. The 727 transmission has been replaced with a
rebuilt one but we have the numbers matching 727 and it will go along with the
sale of the car. The car had one repaint
and it still shows well. The chrome
shines very nice with no pitting or rust.
The interior presents very well. The
seats had been recovered in the early ’90 and are very nice. It does have the original AM radio in the
dash, but has an aftermarket AM/FM CD radio mounted under the dash. Wheels are vintage ‘90’s ProComp and are
highly polished. Rear tires show new the
fronts have some wear on them. The Charger is better than a driver quality but not a 100
point show winner. The car is located In Kenosha, WI. 40 Minutes South of Milwaukee Mitchell
Airport and 55 minutes North of Chicago O’hare Airport. You can fly in and drive it home or we can
assist in setting up with a delivery vehicle at buyers cost. We are selling the vehicle locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Any questions feel free to call Jim (262) 498-5517 Thank you for your interest.

Dodge Hellcat orders on hold due to 'unprecedented demand'
Sun, Mar 15 2015Want to get your hands on a 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger or Charger Hellcat to call your very own? We don't blame you, and you're not alone. According to Motor Authority and confirmed by a spokesperson from Chrysler, Dodge has gotten so many orders for its stable of Hellcats that it simply cannot keep up with demand: "Due to unprecedented demand for the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats, we are temporarily restricting orders while we validate current orders that are in the system." Put another way, if you're waiting for a Hellcat, your wait is likely to be a lot longer than you'd like. We've reached out to Chrysler to find out how long it might take for a new customer to get a new Hellcat, and we'll update if and when we hear back. Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
Bull leads Texas police on four hour chase
Thu, May 12 2016A bull leading police on a chase through a Texas town may sound like something out of a country music song, but police in Arlington, Texas recently had just such a situation on their hands. According to WFAA, on the afternoon of May 9, a young bull got loose from his pen and decided to take a stroll through the streets of Arlington. "There was a cow walking down the neighborhood," said Arlington resident Jillyan Nance. "It trotted down my home and cut across our yard into the neighbor's yard." Arlington police were alerted to the escaped bull and, in a scene more Texas than Steve Earle drinking a Shiner at the Alamo, they attempted to chase it down with police cruisers. For the next four hours, police engaged the creature in a sedate, low-speed chase through Arlington, Dalworthington Gardens, and other neighboring towns. The bull, for his part, largely ignored his pursuers and the throngs of people coming out of their houses to watch the strange scene and post pictures to Facebook and Instagram. With numerous police cruisers in not-quite-hot pursuit, the bull ambled along the shady streets, stopping here and there to munch on some grass and take in the views. Eventually, a friendly local rancher showed up and lassoed the bull in Dalworthington Gardens just before 9:00 p.m. Police have not released the name of the bull's owner or any motive for its escape. Perhaps, like the unicorn that escaped into a California orchard back in February, it decided that it had had enough of working for a living and was looking for something else.
