Bought New in Arizona. Original purchase paperwork come with the car. Some restoration already done: rebuilt rear end, new shocks and rear springs, low miles on engine since rebuild, new ball joints and bushings, new front and rear brakes. Comes with all the parts to re-assemble including a new windshield and freshly re-cored radiator as well as new belts, hoses and the paint and chemicals needed to prime the vehicle. Underside of vehicle was sand blasted, acid etched and painted with a sealer. Nuts and bolts have been soaked in chemicals that dissolve the rust and also have some new replacement nuts and bolts. Parts like hinges have also been soaks in rust dissolver, sealed and primed. This was a rag top so the roof was sanded down to bare metal, acid etched and then primed. Buyer may choose between original bench front seat or bucket seats (need restored). Numbers do not match. The engine is from a 1971 Charger that was in an accident that bent the unibody. Some extra parts available as the parts were stripped off the 1972 as well as the 1971 that was wrecked. The doors, bumpers and one fender are currently removed as part of the restoration process. This is an exceptionally clean, straight and ripple free body. Interested parties are welcome to come see it in person..

Chrysler Group moves around execs in wake of recent departure
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Chrysler is busy shuffling executives around in the wake of Ram head Fred Diaz's departure. The automaker has named Reid Bigland (pictured, right) as Diaz's successor in the role of president and CEO of Ram, though Bigland will continue his duties as the head of US sales and the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Bigland first came to Chrysler in 2006 from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, so the guy knows a thing or two about trucks.
Meanwhile, Timothy Kuniskis will take over as president and CEO of Dodge. Previously, he served as the head of Fiat in North America and has been with Chrysler in one capacity or another since 1992. His old title now falls to Jason Stoicevich, who will also continue to work as the director of the automaker's California Business Center. Finally, Bruno Cattori will take over as the president and CEO of Chrysler Mexico.
Diaz left his position to take over as a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Nissan. You can read the full press release on the Chrysler personnel changes below for more information.
Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
