1966 Dodge Charger 383 v8 stock as a rock! This charger was a true find! Has not been registered since 1982 and has been in dry storage for many years! The car has what appears to be the original 383 that does run. Automatic transmission with console shift. The body is in great shape with no rust! Extremely solid, and very hard to find in this condition! The car is pretty straight but not perfect, worse little dent is on driver side rear quarter. Car has very nice interior and appears to have newer seats, and headliner, and carpet. newer door panels, is missing passenger side door handle. and 2 roll up cranks I believe. The dash is in good shape. Has original wheels. All chrome is in pretty nice shape as well. I was told the car has original 92k actual miles. Clean title. The motor is healthy although it does need a good tune up, has not been on the road for many years. I would suggest traillering car I have not drove the car very far. And do not know every little thing she needs. The car is one of the nicest examples of a 1966 charger survivor I have seen! Has power steering. The best part is she is all solid, solid floors, solid rockers, solid trunk, solid frame. She is really nice! This is not a perfect car! Does have what appears to be the original paint with chips, blemishes, scratches, and some dings. But if your looking for a original to restore, or just tinker and drive every day the way she is you found her! Call me with questions at 541.301.6862 Full balance is due within 3 days of end of auction. Sold as-is condition. And buyer pays shipping. Or pickup. I reserve the right to end auction early. Good luck on bidding! Shes a beauty!

2015 Dodge Viper price drops $15k for 2015

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

We recently saw updated specs and new trims of the 2015 Viper, but it looks like the folks at Dodge were saving the biggest surprise for last. Prices on all levels of the American sports car are seeing an immediate, across-the-board price cut of $15,000; even 2014 models still remaining on dealer lots.
The new MSRP for the 2015 Viper in its base SRT trim now starts at $84,995, and when the TA and GTS come to the lineup later next year, they start at $100,995 and $107,995, respectively. The move seems like a swing for the fences that might help to quell slow sales.
Obviously, current Viper owners might be somewhat peeved that their investment was just re-priced by the company. However, to assuage some of their concerns, Dodge is giving all fifth-gen owners a certificate worth $15,000 towards the purchase of a new one, which comes in addition to the price reduction.

Dodge Durango poised for SRT's devilish power-up

Wed, Jan 11 2017

Does the world need a 707-horsepower Dodge Durango Hellcat? It looks like it's a possibility, according to recent spy shots of a suspicious test mule. But it could also be a Durango powered up with the FCA US 6.4-liter V8 that makes 475 hp. Spy shooters report that the mule captured here sounds like the Hellcat-powered Dodge Chargers and Challengers. Hidden design cues like the fascia suggest this Durango has truly devilish power. There's also a bulging hood with an air intake under the camouflage. So it could be a Durango Hellcat. It's also possible Dodge is dropping the 6.4-liter V8 used in the Grand Cherokee SRT under the hood of the Durango. Engine sharing makes sense, since both FCA SUVs are based on the same platform and built at the same factory in Michigan, though the Durango is longer to accommodate a third row. It is also more logical Dodge would add the 475-hp mill to the Durango's lineup first before going all the way to the 6.2-liter 707-hp Hellcat engine. The most powerful current Durango has a 360-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8. We expect the Durango will get a refresh for 2018. NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.
