Adult-driven, adult-modified (all for fun), like-new Challenger SRT8 with a 392 Hemi, 6spd manual tranny, and Redline Pearlcoat paint. No dents, dings scratches, or nicks. The car, and its pictures, speak for themselves. Save THOUSANDS below a new SRT8 becasue this car has only 1048 miles. That's no typo...only a little over one thousand miles. It has NEVER been raced, simply driven a little and shown alot. If you are a dealer, scammer, or another advertising agency, please don't waste my time or yours...please don't call or email. I have dealt with people phishing in the past and I know what to do if it happens. Serious inquiries only via email, please. Please don't contact me unless you have financing already secured.....no dreamers.  I DO NOT need to sell this car and I want it to go to a good home. The ONLY reason I'm selling it is that I am a Mopar collector and I have ordered a 2015 Challenger Hellcat. I will not give the car away and I wont sell it for less than what its worth. This isn't a divorce situation or a distressed sale.  All scheduled maintenance, Always garaged, Excellent condition, Factory GPS system, U connect hands-free bluetooth, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Non-smoker, Satellite radio, Nav, Well maintained. I have all service record receipts from local Dodge dealer where all work has been done. I also have all orig paperwork including window sticker, etc...as I am original owner. Modifcation receipts total over $8,000 and I will turn them over to new owner. Mods: 20" Cragar SS wheels and Goodyear tires, AirRaid CAI filter, Zoomers 3" Catback exhaust with Stealth tips, Mopar Hurst shifter, Kooks Headers and Catted pipe system, Diablo tune, alignment, Eibach 1" lowering springs, and 35% window tint all the way around. I saved all oringinal parts and will orig give wheels, exhaust, shifter to new owner. This is an amazingly fun car that blends an old-school look with new school technology. It drives like new, beacuse it basicly is...and sounds AMAZING! I still have a small loan balance on the car, but I've done this many times before. I will sign a document promising the title once the lien is cleared. Don't delay...grab this bad-a** Mopar today! This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the E-bay posting at any time.

2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop glosses over performance

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

The Dodge Dart is a decent little car. It's honest, basic transportation, and many of us at Autoblog are genuinely fond of the Alfa Romeo-based compact sedan. For 2014, not a whole lot changes in the Dart world, save the addition of this new Blacktop edition that makes its debut here at the Detroit Auto Show.
It's all very simple, this Blacktop package, and doesn't actually alter performance in any way. Instead, buyers are treated to blacked-out exterior bits like 18-inch wheels, the crosshair grille and headlamp bezels. Inside, black/tungsten or black/red cloth seats are available, with red contrast stitching throughout the cabin.
Adding the Blacktop pack to your Dart SXT with the Rallye Appearance Group will set you back a scant $295, and while it's just an appearance package, it all looks pretty nice to us.

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football

Fri, 16 May 2014

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
