Here's your chance to own a beautiful TRUE 40th Anniversary Dodge Challenger RT in the RARE Furious Fuchsia Pearl Coat paint with signature White Leather and Fuchsia stitching in the seats and throughout the interior. The Furious Fuchsia RT's and SRT's were produced only August and September 2010, with a small production run of around 1500 in the US and Canada ***(Documented through Dodge email she is 1 of 148 produced in Furious Fuchsia color and options.)*** Everyone here is……… "San Antonio ROSE" with all the options you want without paying that new car price!
All I have got to say about this one is WOW! Here's a deal of a lifetime. Why go to the Dodge dealer and buy one of these new when you can get a fantastic deal on a quality Dodge Challenger RT with some incredibly well kept miles that looks exactly like the new ones currently in showrooms! "ROSE"'s mileage is still quite LOW with only 31,265 miles on it. She has FACTORY Warranty till 07-13-2014, or 36,000 miles on her basic Dodge warranty, and then she also has around 22 months and up to 50,000 miles on Dodge's Powertrain Warranty. "ROSE" runs just like she did when she was new. I kid you not. This car still handles just like new and runs just the same. With the undisputed reliability of Dodge behind this car know that this car will provide hundreds of thousand more miles of driving pleasure. "ROSE's" life is just beginning to get started! It was driven carefully when it was on the road, kept it covered anytime it was not in use, and most importantly it was never smoked in that I know of.
Here is a great example of a well cared for, much sought after TRUE 40th Anniversary Dodge Challenger RT that is loaded with ALL the important options. This car comes in what most people consider to be the RARE, RARE color combination this car ever came in! Furious Fuchsia Pearl on the outside along with mirrors and roof (just look at the pictures, it really looks incredible) with White Leather and Fuchsia stitched on the inside, it is very attractive indeed! If you haven't seen this color in person, you really should and need too. The pictures doesn't capture the striking, unique, special color of this Dodge Challenger RT. You will LOVE driving it, as well as pampering it. YES, It gets ALOT of attention, and lots of oooohhhsss and aaahhhsss! This car comes with ONE of the most highly desired options that you crave for one of these cars! A 6-speed Manual Transmission and NAVIGATION.......Very few that I looked at had this option. You'll be very pleased with that! "ROSE" isn't one of the cheap, stripped down models! "ROSE" has got all the options you desire! 6-speed transmission, air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, power glass moonroof, Boston Acoustics stereo /w in-dash CD with Uconnect Voice Command and Bluetooth, alarm with keyless entry, traction control, side airbags, and of course cruise control! You won't believe how fast, quick, and agile this car is! This car gives you incredible power! "ROSE"'s is equipped with the 5.7 HEMI engine from the factory and runs beautifully! These engines have earned their reputation of being very well built. This car will last for hundreds of thousands of miles with proper care.
My Dodge Challenger RT is in GREAT condition showing virtually no wear. "ROSE" has been well taken care of and carefully driven! This car has no rust, and doesn't show any indication of developing rust in the future. The interior is in beautiful shape showing no signs of wear. The last owners and I have done a great job of keeping the car well maintained. You'll really be impressed with this car's overall appearance! It looks just like new! The A/C is very, very cold and the heat is VERY hot. Everything works great on it. All the power windows, power locks, power sunroof, and power mirrors work perfectly! It also has cruise control which makes those highway drives much easier. No warning lights remain illuminated after the car is started, just as it should be! The 7 speaker Boston Acoustics in-dash CD stereo with Subwoofer makes beautiful sound and none of the speakers are blown. This stereo makes great bass and is very well balanced. The car also has the factory alarm with keyless entry. Everything is very clean inside. The exterior is also in EXCELLENT condition. The paint is beautiful and very shiny, and still looks great!! It was always kept covered when I don't drive it. Everything looks fantastic on this Dodge Challenger RT. The factory 20 inch "chrome-clad" alloy wheels are in great shape, and are matched to a newer set of the GoodYear F1 tires. You won't have to worry about tires for a very long time as they are practically brand new! (3000 miles old). They've got plenty of tread! As far as safety goes, you get all the protection that you'd expect from a Dodge Challenger RT which includes driver's and passenger's front and side airbags along with roof mounted head curtain airbags. Preventing accidents altogether you have the traction control system (ESP) which keeps you from losing traction in situations where you normally would lose traction such as accelerating on a wet road. It really makes a difference as this feature helps you avoid accidents altogether!
And as if the looks of this challenger RT doesn't already impress you, then getting in and and driving it, like it is suppose to be, will take your breath away! This is where you really be impressed! This car drives as close to a new one as I've ever experienced. The car incredibly tight. She glides over bump and sticks well in the turns! And she handles just as she did when it was new! Simply incredible! The engine is in great condition. You won't believe how much power this 5.7 liter HEMI-powered engine can deliver. You have all the power you need at your command! This car does feature the much sought after 6-speed manual transmission. When you need to get this car stopped, the brakes will do it just as they did when the car was new, stopping the car evenly and effectively without any pulling or vibration. To keep you cruising at a set speed, the cruise control will keep you going however fast you'd like to go. You can enjoy all this sports car performance while still enjoying great gas mileage! According to the EVIC settings in my RT it gets between 15 miles in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway! I noticed no flaws at all in the engine and transmission, or clutch and everything works as it should. Just as you'd expect with a car that was as well kept as this one!
Don't miss your chance to own a great example of an adult owned and well cared for Dodge Challenger RT with all these options! Most people are wanting outrageous money for these cars. My Dodge Challenger RT is a GREAT value with a price that is cheaper than most on here, and has less miles than most for the money. You probably know as well as I do that most Dodge dealer's might not have a Dodge Challenger RT as nice as mine in stock on their lot, much less a loaded RARE Furious Fuchsia RT so buy mine from me at a MUCH lower price on here. It takes incredible effort to keep the car looking this nice, and If you thought you could never afford a car this nice, think again! You may not have another chance to get yourself a very, very RARE Furious Fuchsia Dodge Challenger RT with low mileage and a 6-speed. Any Muscle car enthusiast knows how valuable this car really is going to get! Get the car of your dreams! Don't miss your opportunity to own this beautiful RT! You will not be disappointed!

Fri, Jul 21 2023In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor John Beltz Snyder. After some banter, including the discussion of an excellent tomato sauce recipe, they get into car reviews. Greg has been driving the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53, while John has been testing the BMW M4 CSL and Buick's new Envista crossover. There's lots of interesting news this week. Chevy revealed the 2024 Traverse with new looks, a new engine and on off-road(ish) trim. Hyundai gave us a glimpse at the wild styling of the next Santa Fe. Dodge might bring back the Stealth nameplate as an SUV, and that has implications for the Durango as well. Ford, after repeatedly raising prices, has turned around and significantly discounted the F-150 Lightning across all trims. The first Tesla Cybertruck has rolled off the line as a pre-production prototype. Finally, we reach in to the mailbag and help a listener decide what to do with cars for himself and his kids in this week's Spend My Money segment. Barracuda's Dodge branding no biggie, but what about engines?
Thu, Aug 27 2015Rumors about a revival of the Barracuda nameplate have been circulating for years now, though which brand it might fall under has been a bit of a mystery. Initial speculation had the car labeled an SRT product, but that acronym has since returned to its former role as a sub-brand for top-performance Mopars. Thanks to leaks from a recent FCA dealership event, we know the Barracuda is back on the table but will be sold under the Dodge umbrella, a move that has been generating a bit of ire from Pentastar fanatics, as the car was originally part of the defunct Plymouth brand. Given what's known about the new model, however, the badge is the least of my concerns about the new car. Let's start with the re-branding itself. This isn't the first time Chrysler has shuffled models around to different brands. The current-generation Viper spent two years as the flagship model under the SRT banner, only to return to Dodge for 2015 when SRT resumed its former role as a sub-brand. Years ago, the Neon was sold as a Plymouth, a Dodge, and a Chrysler model, depending on where you shopped for one. When Plymouth ceased to exist, the last few years of Prowler production got Chrysler badges instead. Then there's the new Jeep Renegade, a model whose name was born out of a trim level. The Barracuda might not turn out to be a muscle car in the way we currently define them. Further examples of naming liberties taken throughout automotive history could fill a book, but suffice it to say that these days a model's name has very little to do with the vehicle itself or any legacy it might have. The Barracuda name might be a particularly sacred cow with enthusiasts, but to me, a much bigger concern is the fact that the car might not turn out to be a muscle car in the way we currently define them. News from the Fiat Chrysler dealer briefing earlier this week indicates that when the next Charger debuts it will share its platform with the Barracuda, much the way the Charger and Challenger are twinned now. One difference is that the Barracuda is tipped to be offered as a convertible, while the modern Challenger is tintop-only. The Charger and Barracuda will use the rear-drive platform developed for Alfa Romeo's new Giulia, itself designed as a BMW M3 fighter both from a dimensional and dynamic standpoint; the Barracuda is expected to be slightly smaller than the current Challenger.
Towing with the 2016 Ram lineup [w/video]
Mon, Nov 2 2015I do not tow things. Ever. Yet I recently found myself at the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles proving grounds in Chelsea, MI, where I'd be testing the hauling capabilities of Ram's current product range. This experience was not only a perfect education for a towing novice like me, but allowed me to tow far more weight than I'd ever consider hauling the real world, and all within the safe confines of the Chelsea Proving Grounds. There was an extremely diverse array of vehicles at my disposal, including Ram's gasoline- and diesel-powered offerings with trucks ranging from the 1500 on up through the 5500 Chassis Cab, as well ProMaster vans. Beyond that, FCA brought out a number of vintage Dodge pickups for me to play with, while also working with Case IH to provide a track-loader I could test. I put together a range of videos covering everything from the classics to the production trucks to the construction equipment. And despite some technical difficulties – you'll notice a distinct lack of in-car videos, with blame going to a corrupted micro SD card – I've assembled ten videos that give an up-close look at Ram's offerings. 2015 Ram ProMaster City Let's start small. The ProMaster City only has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. That's a reasonably impressive figure for a van that uses the same powertrain as a Chrysler 200. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder and nine-speed automatic weren't really bothered with the extra weight added by the trailer. Even when accelerating at freeway speeds, the ProMaster City didn't feel out of breath or hampered by its load. That said, the rear of the van was unloaded, which probably wouldn't be the case for most consumers. It's unclear how the City would feel if its driver were taking advantage of the max payload (1,883 pounds) and towing. 2015 Ram ProMaster 1500 To be polite, the Ram ProMaster is a difficult vehicle to like. Its awkward seating position is bus-like and lacks the visibility enjoyed by the Ford Transit or the utter driving comfort of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Its 3.0-liter, four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, meanwhile, is something of an anomaly. While it's potent for a four-cylinder diesel, producing 295 pound-feet of torque and 174 horsepower, those numbers don't feel all that impressive when loaded down. The model I tested was barely using half of its 5,100-pound maximum towing weight and was loaded down with just 500 of its 3,620-pound payload. Yet it lacked the pluckiness of the smaller City.
