2013 Dodge Cuda Barracuda Challenger R/t Coupe 2-door 5.7l on 2040-cars
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Up for auction is a 2013 Dodge Cuda / Barracuda . This is a conversion from a RT Challenger done at the Dodge Plant. This car is a real head turner. Dodge teamed up with Mr. Norms on this car. The car was lowered, 20" rims and new tires were added, the entire interior was redone with the Cuda Katskinz, pistol grip shifter, the hood was replaced with a painted carbon fiber shaker hood, cuda grille, cuda decals, the Ram air intake and tuned up to 438 HP. This is a powerful V8.
This car is bad ass. It has a 6 speed manual which makes it super fun to drive. It only has 7600 miles on it (Will have more as I do drive it) and drives like a dream. The exhaust sounds great but not too loud. I am the only owner of this car as I bought it directly from the dealership who notified me of this car coming in from the plant last June. This car is a great mimic of the 1971 Cuda. As for MPG's, I get 18.5-19.6 in town and 24 on the highway. You can email me with any questions or more pictures. I do not ship but can assist in helping with shipping or picking you up from the airport so you can drive it home. A $1,000 deposit will need to be provided to paypal within 24 hours of close of this auction. The remainder of the funds must be in a cashiers check or cash within 7 days of close of this auction. The car will not be released until funds have cleared. No Exceptions. If you are financing, I will work with whatever bank you have but again, funds must clear first. Clean and Clear Title. Please understand that this request is not meant as disrespect but more looking out for everybody who is bidding. And not to mention people who aren't serious when making a bid offer. |

Vin Diesel and Dodge finally make the partnership official
Mon, May 1 2017Thanks to The Fast and the Furious franchise, actor Vin Diesel is nearly synonymous with muscle cars, in particular those from Dodge and SRT. The partnership is finally official, with Diesel appearing in a number of new ads for the automaker. Three new spots, titled "Rally Cry," "Monsters," and "Shepherd," showcase Dodge's entire product line, including the nearly forgotten Journey crossover. We can only assume it's taken the Viper's place in the automaker's lineup, as the soon departed coupe is nowhere to be seen. This content is hosted by a third party. Presumably, Dodge felt three months of teasers and a good bit of New York Auto Show coverage were sufficient advertisement for the car. Plus, we can't count on the Demon to go around a corner the same way that some of the cars in this ad do. It's hard to turn with two wheels in the air. This content is hosted by a third party. The Rock, as the latter has been promoting Ford products for the past few years. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Dodge lets us drive 100-years' worth of history [w/videos]
Thu, 03 Jul 2014
A raft of important production models from the last hundred years were available for me to either drive or ride in.
Dodge is 100 years old this year. So, as happened on Ford's recent centennial, the 50-year birthday of the Porsche 911, and others, the company has an excuse to trot out the highlights of its history next to its upcoming model lineup, and declare that "these are the fruits of the Dodge Boys' tree whose roots have grown strong." Or something like that. Never so hampered by marketing skepticism that I'll pass up the opportunity to burn someone else's rubber, I was happy to drive out to Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, MI - former grand estate of the Dodge family - to hear the spiel.
The Dodge Demon sheds some weight in pursuit of speed
Thu, Jan 19 2017The Dodge Demon teaser train isn't stopping until it hits New York City. In case you need a reminder, the upcoming Demon is the more pedestrian Hellcat's stripped-down and hopped-up sibling that promises to be built for the sole purpose of traveling a quarter-mile mile quicker than any of its rivals. The weekly video rollout on www.ifyouknowyouknow.com continues with the latest sneak peak, "Reduction." While there were early rumors that the Demon may pack an all-wheel-drive system and in turn gain enough grip to rotate the Earth underneath it, Dodge and SRT look to be going down a simpler route. The press release reveals the Demon is 200 pounds lighter than the standard Hellcat. It's unclear where all that weight is coming from, but at nearly 4,500 pounds, the Challenger Hellcat could stand to go on a bit of a diet. The video hints at adjustments to the wheels, steering, suspension, and brakes, as well as some modifications to the car's interior. Don't be surprised if the Demon is a bare bones stripper model with no back seat, no A/C, and no radio. Who needs music when you have 2.4-liter supercharger and a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 making sweet love under the hood?
