The 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8!! If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up (to quote Farris Bueller)!  6.4 Liter 392 Cubic Inch V8 with 470 Horsepower and 470 pound feet of torque!

This is the hard to find Phantom Black Pearl metallic (if you haven't seen one in person, oh man how beautiful!!) with the optional Black Chrome 20" wheels.  This car is a stunner!  It's also the 6 Speed manual!  I ordered this car to replace my 2009 Viper (what?!).  Yes, I had a Viper but it was time to get something I could actually enjoy driving!  Enjoy isn't a the right word - this car is the best balance of muscle and luxury that I have ever owned.  I've had Porsches, Vettes, Shelby Mustangs, BMWs...you name it but I truly LOVE this car.  The Harmon Kardon Stereo is amazing, the ride is like a Mercedes but the power and attitude is pure American muscle!  Anyway, if you're looking for one of these, you know what its all about!  Look at the window sticker picture for exact details of options.  This car has all the right options!

This car listed for over $51K, here's your chance to save thousands off of the price and the sales taxes (call me if you need more explanation).

I just bought this car and now I'm selling...why?  Twins!  My wife just shocked me with the news a few weeks ago that we were pregnant again!  We already have 4 kids, and I just found out it's twins!  I am selling this car and my two Harley's because frankly, I don't have time to enjoy or drive this beast.  I should have just sold the Viper and been done with it if i would have known at 40 years old I would be having twins but my loss is your gain.  I don't have a loan on this car and the clear title is in hand.  If you need a loan to buy it, there are plenty of online car loan banks and options out there.

Here's your chance before all the Muscle Cars go away again.  Own the best looking and purest of the modern American Muscle cars!  I think these cars will be the next collectibles some day.

This car is in perfect condition - there are no scratches, dings or damage of ANY kind!  I ordered a custom fit satin car cover and Weathertech floor and trunk covers before the car was even delivered.  It is in brand new condition!  It remains covered in my climate controlled garage and I even covered the seats with plush cotton covers before I ever sat in it.  This car will include the car cover and floor covers.  The floor mats from the factory are perfect and in a bag.  I have all manuals, stickers and other items just like it was delivered.  You will not be disappointed in any way!

I have set the reserve at what the dealer I bought the car for said they would buy it back for so whoever gets this car will get it at wholesale price!  Dealer invoice was over $48K (ask a dealer that has one to show you) and the reserve is thousands below that (like I said, my loss is your gain).  I will gladly assist with the shipping company or pick you up from the airport if you fly in to get the car.  I am 45 minutes from the Kansas City Airport.  Shipping costs are buyers expense.  I expect at $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending.  If you want to make me an offer or have questions, please call 816-550-0065 or email through Ebay.  Please respect my time and only call or email if you are a serious buyer.  I reserve the right to end the auction if I sell locally or work out another deal.

I am not broke or desperate for money so please don't bother with low ball or goofy offers.  This is a chance to save thousands of dollars on a gorgeous, perfect car.  Good Luck!!!

Dodge Challenger ADR prototypes spied with massive rubber

Mon, Oct 3 2016

In an effort to give the Dodge Challenger one last hurrah before making the switch to the Giorgio platform in 2018, Automotive News reports that the automaker will come out with the Challenger ADR. The ADR, which stands for American Drag Racer, is expected to be a wide-body, Hellcat-powered variant that is closely based off of the current model. The report seems to have merit, as photographers have captured Challenger prototypes testing with massive tires. The prototypes look extremely similar to the current Challenger SRT Hellcat with the same hood scoop, front fascia design, rear spoiler construction, and rear end. The white and purple vehicles, though, are wearing extremely wide tires. The extra-wide rubber on the prototypes appear to have a similar tread design as the ones found on the Dodge Viper ACR, which features the grippy Kumho Ecsta V720. While the ACR wears 295 mm tires at the front, the car's rear tires are massive at 355 mm. The tires found on the prototype don't appear to be as large as the ones found on the ACR, but are expected to be larger than the current Challenger SRT Hellcat's, which are Pirelli P Zero Neros measuring 275 mm at all four corners. The Challenger ADR, with its wider, stickier tires is expected to cater to drivers that are looking to put all of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8's power to the ground. The rear-wheel-drive ADR is expected to come with a wide-body kit, which is missing from the prototypes. The Hellcat-powered, wide-body Challenger ADR is expected to make an appearance later in 2017, with an all-wheel-drive model (sans Hellcat engine) known as the GT AWD following closely thereafter. 2013 Dodge Challenger V6 recalled for fire risk, owners asked not to drive

Sun, 17 Mar 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall for the V6 version of the 2013 Dodge Challenger (as pictured above in 2012MY) over the possibility of a wiring harness that could short circuit and lead to a fire. Owners of these V6 Challengers built from November 2012 through January 2013 are being urged to contact dealers immediately and, in the meantime, not to drive their cars or park in or near any buildings.
Chrysler estimates around 2,500 potentially affected Challengers are in owners' hands, while another 1,900 are still sitting on dealer lots. The total number of recalled vehicles is 4,459.
So far, Chrysler says that seven fires have been reported - none resulting in injuries. The company is instructing vehicle owners to contact their dealer to find out if their vehicle is included in the recall, but owners can also find the build date information of their vehicle by checking the label in the driver's door jamb.

FCA seeks partner to keep building Dodge Dart, Chrysler 200

Wed, Mar 9 2016

Mere weeks after FCA announced it was shutting down production of the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200, new hope emerges to give the sedans a stay of execution. Speaking at the Geneva Motor Show last week, Sergio Marchionne said that the company was looking for a partner "who is better at it than we are and who has got capacity available" in order to continue building the models on its behalf. "There are discussions going on now," said Marchionne, according to Motor Trend. "I think we will find a solution. We continue to talk. It's both a technical solution and an economic one. We need to find a solution that works economically." Contracting vehicles to be manufactured offsite is more common practice among European automakers than it is with American ones. Chrysler's former patron Mercedes, for example, has the G-Class built for it by Magna Steyr in Austria, the A-Class by Valmet in Finland, and the R-Class by AM General in Indiana (even though it's no longer sold in the US). This arrangement would, on the surface at least, appear more similar to the deal that Toyota struck with Mazda to build the Scion iA, drawing on the contractor's expertise and capacity to build the small sedan on the client company's behalf. Only rather than basing a new model on one of the partner's existing ones, this deal would ostensibly continue building FCA models on FCA platforms using FCA components. We'll have to wait to find out with whom FCA strikes up the manufacturing deal, but we wouldn't be surprised to see Marchionne turn to a partner he already knows. The company is, after all, at the center of an intricate web of joint ventures and manufacturing contracts. The Fiat 124 Spider, for example, is built by Mazda. The Fiat Sedici that preceded the 500X was built by Suzuki. Models like the Dodge Stealth and Eagle Talon were built in Illinois at the Diamond-Star Motors joint venture before Mitsubishi took it over altogether. And Dodge continued selling the Mercedes-made Sprinter long after DaimlerChrysler split. The Ram ProMaster, though built by FCA in Mexico for the North American market, stems from a partnership in France with PSA Peugeot Citroen. And the ProMaster City is built in a joint-venture plant in Turkey, from which it's also sold by GM as an Opel in Europe and a Vauxhall in the UK. With all those deals coming and going, after all, what would one more add to the complexity?
