Here we have a 2010 Challenger RT with damage mainly to the passenger side and minor damage to the driver's side.  The car will run and lot drive.  This car was hit in the Rt Quarter panel and rt door.  It was hit enough to damage the roof and put a pressure mark on the left quarter.  Included in the auction, I have a rt quarter with roof cut and rt door with glass and trim panel.  Also included is a passenger seat (original is damaged) front fender, Headliner, passenger curtain airbag, rear interior quarter trim, quarter window, all taken off a parts car.  Car also has factory Navigation.  All four 20" wheels have some type of damage on them, could all be repaired.  Lt quarter panel is damaged and will need repair (does not need replacing).  1 tire will not hold air ( I will put the spare on), the rest of the tires hold air but tread is poor.  It will need the center heater control button as it is missing.  The will be a great car once repaired, I have almost everything needed to repair it but the time, the only thing I know I am missing is it will need front seat covers as the passengers side is damaged and the drivers side is cracking (available on eBay or you can get custom seat covers made).  May need misc small parts, but I have got all the main items needed.  Last picture is of the car you will be getting the parts from.

So in addition to the repairable car, you will also get:
Rt quarter panel with roof cut
Rt door with glass and trim panel
Rt quarter glass
New dodge rt front fender
Passenger seat
Headliner
Passenger curtain airbag
Rear interior trim panel rt side
Fuel Door
Rolling Parts car (whats left)

Buyer is responsible for all shipping parts for car and parts.  Potential buyers are welcome and encouraged to come and look at car prior to bidding.  Car is sold as is.  Please do not buy if you cannot pay for car.  $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction end.  I am a licensed MN Dealer so if car is sold in MN I will need to collect tax title and license fees.  If you have any questions feel free to call me at a reasonable time 507 261 7388.  Please don't call me and ask what I will take for the car, make an offer, but I buy alot of challengers and parts challengers so I know what they are worth, Thanks
Andy

Added 6/10 Now included with sale, complete rolling parts car or I should say whats left of it so you can cut it where you want it, has good rt door quarter roof, decklid fixable, front front is swayed and horns are cut off, and hit in lt quarter, lt door gone, but all 4 suspension knees are there.  Will also be easier to transport this way.  basically it is a shell with suspension only with the good parts to fix the blue one.

Stellantis wants to trim 3,500 hourly U.S. jobs, UAW says

Wed, Apr 26 2023

WASHINGTON — Chrysler-parent Stellantis NV wants to cut approximately 3,500 hourly U.S. jobs and is offering voluntary exit packages, according to a United Auto Workers union letter made public Tuesday. The automaker is looking to reduce its hourly workforce offering incentive packages that include $50,000 payments for workers hired before 2007, UAW Local 1264 said in a letter dated Monday posted on its Facebook page. Stellantis spokeswoman Jodi Tinson declined to comment. A person briefed on the matter said the figure might be lower than the figure cited in the UAW letter. In late February, Stellantis indefinitely halted operations at an assembly plant in Illinois, citing rising costs of electric vehicle production. The action impacted about 1,350 workers at the Belvidere, Illinois, plant that built the Jeep Cherokee SUV and resulted in indefinite layoffs. The automaker has warned it may not resume operations as it considers other options. The UAW letter said openings created by workers leaving would be filled by workers on indefinite layoff. Stellantis said in February that about 40,000 U.S. hourly workers were eligible for profit sharing. Last week, UAW President Shawn Fain said Stellantis' decision to idle the Illinois plant was "a flat-out violation" of the union's contract with the UAW and is unacceptable. The UAW will enter talks with the Detroit Three before labor contracts expire in mid-September. Earlier this month, General Motors said about 5,000 salaried workers accepted buyouts to leave the automaker. GM CEO Mary Barra said February job cuts of a few hundred jobs and the 5,000 buyouts "provided approximately $1 billion towards" a $2 billion cost cutting target. Ford Motor Co recently announced significant job cuts in Spain, Germany and other parts of Europe and in August said it would cut a total of 3,000 salaried and contract jobs, mostly in North America and India. Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.

FCA UConnect fiasco could set over-the-air updates back years

Fri, Feb 16 2018

Since cars have become more software dependent, most major automakers have been inching toward enabling over-the-air updates to keep vehicle electronics, ranging from infotainment systems to safety features, current. But there are only two car companies — Fiat Chrysler and Ford —± currently doing OTA updates, and on a limited basis. GM CEO Mary Barra announced last summer that the automaker will launch a new EV architecture and infotainment system capable of over-the-air updates "before 2020." The one exception, per usual, is Tesla. Since the release of the Model S almost six years ago, the maverick EV automaker has made routine OTA software updates a core part of its vehicle platforms and value proposition, and has sent out updates for everything from adjusting ride height to enabling Autopilot, largely without incident. When I've asked automakers why they can't do the same thing, I've heard reasons ranging from running afoul of their dealers (and archiac regulation) to security concerns. Automakers like Ford and General Motors say they want to act like tech companies, which routinely send out OTA updates for a wide range of devices, but overall the car industry still moves at a very cautious snail's pace. And when automakers do try to move faster and take more risks — unlike with a smartphone update, which people bitch about but live with — the consequences can be significant when things go wrong. That's the case with Fiat Chrysler America and its recent public-relations nightmare when an OTA update went awry. The update went out at the end of last week for the Uconnect system in late-model vehicles, and it made head units go into a near continuous reboot, which caused owners to not only lose access to entertainment features, but also critical functions like emergency assistance. Almost immediately, owners took to Twitter to express outrage, and FCA was caught flatfooted. A tweet went out on Monday on the UconnectCares Twitter account that read, "Certain 2017 & 2018 Uconnect systems may experience a reboot every 45-60 seconds. Our Engineering teams are investigating the cause and working towards a resolution.
