NO RESERVE - PLEASE EMAIL ME TO DISCUSS A BUY IT NOW PRICE, BEFORE ITS GONE!!! We have for sale a Black on Black Leather 2010 Dodge Challenger "Mopar 10 Edition, #008 of 500", 6 speed pistol grip manual transmission, 5.7 Supercharged Hemi, Blacked Out, Limited Edition in excellent condition with only 17,357 miles. Only selling due to needing money for down payment on land / house. One of the photos is a display board for car shows that give the specifics on the Limited Edition, how many were actually made with the Mopar Blue accents, which is the best looking in my opinion, and how many of those were the manual transmission with the pistol grip shifter, only 95 total. This a beautiful garage kept collector car in excellent condition with no prior accidents or damage. It does have a couple very minor imperfections on the front bumper just from normal driving, but nothing noticeable from any distance at all, you will not be disappointed. This Limited Edition collector car includes the Drag Pack upgrades including the hood scoop, hood pins, 392 geared heavy duty differential, body strut tower bracing front and rear, high performance suspension, and performance steering. This is an excellent condition collector car with a newly installed Pro Charger brand supercharger, which was almost $8,000, installed by High Horse Performance in Newark DE, back in May 2014. The original horse power from the factory was 390 hp and now is just shy of 500 hp. High Horse Preformance said once we ran 4 tanks of premium fuel through the vehicle, after the procharger was installed, they could put it back on the dino machine and fine tune the horse power to about 530 hp. We just have run the 4 tanks of fuel through it bc we don't drive it everyday, just on weekends, but have not had a chance to take it back yet for the additional tuning. Also, just recently installed a high dollar ($600) Pioneer touch screen radio with blue tooth, stainless steel cat back dual exhaust ($1,000), and blue under body lighting ($100) to match the Mopar blue accents. Also included is a full "Mopar 10" car cover and all the original parts that were removed during the upgrades mentioned above. I would prefer local inspection for you to see the car in person before you commit to buying it and local pickup if possible, but I will assist with shipping arrangements if necessary. There is an outstanding lien / payoff through my local state employees credit union, which will require loan payoff before the title can be transferred. Also, I almost forgot a very important thing, there is an extended transferable warranty ( for a $50 fee) which I believe covers almost everything for 7 years and 75,000 miles, which was purchased when the vehicle was bought new. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions or need additional specific pictures, please email me before you bid. Thanks again for looking and good luck bidding!!! |

MotorWeek proves '90s were awesome with Supra, Stealth, RX-7, Corvette, 968, 300ZX comparo
Thu, 24 Jul 2014Oh, the heady days of 1993, back when the Clinton Presidency was just getting underway, and it seemed like every hot new rock band was coming out of Seattle. Sports cars in the US had finally shaken off the shackles that slowed them during the '70s and '80s, and you could buy any number of legitimately quick vehicles again. MotorWeek recently went digging into its archives to find this six-model test from 1993 showing off some of the best semi-affordable performance coupes that money could buy at the time, and it's priceless.
Featuring the 1994 model year Toyota Supra in twin-turbo guise and MY 1993 versions of the Porsche 968, Nissan 300ZX TT, Mazda RX-7, Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo and Chevrolet Corvette LT-1, MotorWeek definitely covered all of the bases. One thing that might surprise younger readers is these cars' performance. The video only provides 0-60 acceleration times, but several of these vehicles would still be considered pretty potent today - over 20 years since going on sale. The Supra is especially impressive, hitting 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds. Even today, that's nothing to sneeze at.
Given their performance potential and still-attractive looks, it's amazing that some of these coupes are old enough to drink now. The progress of interior design and safety equipment in the intervening years is pretty shocking, though. In most of these models, having two airbags is touted as a big deal. Scroll down to watch a Throwback Thursday blast from the past about some of the '90s best sports cars.
Dodge Charger and Challenger go Plum Crazy for Woodward Dream Cruise
Wed, Aug 12 2015Dodge will be rolling through a purple haze at the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15 with the reintroduction of Plum Crazy to the color options on most trims of the 2016 Challenger and Charger. To premiere the latest use of the wild shade, the brand's display at the annual Detroit-area automotive event will be showing off violet versions of the 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker and Charger R/T Scat Pack. The brash tone originally debuted in 1970, but Dodge has kept the lavender hue special in recent years by limiting the option to specific trims. It was last offered during the 2014 model year on R/T and SRT trims of the two vehicles. Practically any buyer will be able to go Plum Crazy if they want. On the Challenger, the color will be available on the SXT Plus, R/T models, Hemi Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat trims. The choices for the Charger will be similarly broad, including the SXT when ordered with 20-inch wheels, R/T versions, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. Customers desperately wanting a vehicle in the insanely violet shade will be able to place the first orders in September, and dealers will get the chance from October through the end of the year. Production of the lavender muscle cars will then commence in November. Dodge Debuts Plum Crazy Heritage Hue for 2016 Challenger and Charger at Woodward Dream Cruise, Provides Collector-demanded Production Numbers for High-impact Paint Colors New 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker and Charger R/T Scat Pack Models in Plum Crazy Will Be Shown at the Dodge Display at 13 Mile and Woodward Ave in Royal Oak, Mich.
Watch the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat verify its 204-mph top speed
Thu, Jan 29 2015The industry is producing some ridiculously fast four-doors these days, from the Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte to the Mercedes E63 AMG and BMW M5. But the fastest of them all doesn't cost six figures. It doesn't even come from Europe. It's made right here in North America, by a US automaker. And it starts at under $64k. We're talking about the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Pentastar muscle sedan with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its 707 horsepower. Dodge claims it's the "quickest, fastest, most powerful [production] sedan ever," and they're not just blowing smoke... or smoking tires. During the final stages of development, engineers from Auburn Hills took a bone-stock, Hellcat-powered Charger out to a seven-mile oval for a top speed run and they filmed the occasion for posterity. The result? 206.9 miles per hour with the wind, 202.2 against it, for a two-way average top speed of 204.55 mph. Chew on that, imports.
