This is an extremely rare survivor Challenger RT.  I of only 733 with this engine/trans combination.   1 of 1 as optioned.  The car was completely documented by Galen Govier.  This is truly a rare find.  Cars like this very seldom go up for sale.  Please read and click the link below to downoad the document signed by Galen Govier:

This very rare, highly optioned Challenger RT/SE has it’s original paint, original interior, original engine, original transmission, original vinyl top, etc.  The car has two fender tags and is loaded with options such as power windows, factory a/c and the rear Go-Wing.  Below are the factory original options the car was ordered with:

  • 440 engine – 4bbl 375hp V8 440 magnum
  • A727 Torqueflite Automatic transmission
  • RT option
  • SE option
  • Style Roof, black vinyl top
  • Light package
  • Rallye Instrumentation
  • Power Brakes
  • Woodgrain Console
  • Overhead Console
  • Front Bucket Seats
  • Remote Mirror
  • RH mirror
  • Rear window defogger
  • Factory Air Conditioning
  • Rear Spoiler, Go Wing
  • Drip Rail Moldings
  • Body Belt Moldings
  • Dual Exhaust
  • Chrome Exhaust Tips
  • Power Windows
  • Radio with 8 track player,  3 speaker dash
  • Hood performance treatment

The car is completely matching numbers with the original “born with” engine (see pictures of vin stamp on engine block), transmission, rear end etc. This car runs great, handles and stops very well.  Brake lights, headlights, blinkers, interior lights including the am/fm radio all work.  The rim blow horn and all of the gauges work great. This car gets thumbs up everywhere I go.  Do not let this car get away, I can assure you there is not another one this loaded and survivor quality out there.  If there is, it won’t be for sale anytime soon.

see videos below after the pictures:

Feel free to email me with any questions.  This car will appreciate in value over the next several years and is better than money sitting in your bank account, since you can enjoy the car while it appreciates (should appreciate faster than the interest from the loan for that matter).  This is a great example of a true matching RT survivor.  It is very hard to find cars like this 1 of 733 made.  With these options, its 1 of 1 made…..so Bid early, don’t miss out.

Sunday Drive: The future looks bright, and the present ain't bad, either

    Sun, Oct 1 2017

A look at the week that just passed proves that Autoblog readers love looking into the future. Spy photos of the next Porsche 911 and a mysterious Dodge Demon prototype led the way last week as some of our most popular stories. A teaser from Subaru has our appetites whetted for the next WRX, and we're intrigued by the value proposition offered by the rear-wheel-drive Kia Stinger. Long-distance motorcycle tourers went gaga over leaked images of the next Honda Gold Wing. Such intense interest comes as no surprise considering that it's the standard by which all its competitors are judged, and it looks to be getting some serious new technology in its next iteration. And finally, we can't help tooting our own horn a bit. Autoblog just launched a brand-new Car Finder tool, which, after getting a few data points to work with, offers up a perfect list of vehicles for new-car buyers. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2019 Porsche 911 to get digital interior — only the tach will be analog Spy Shots: What the devil is Dodge up to with this narrow-body Challenger Demon? Rare Dodge Daytona found in barn heads for auction

    Tue, Dec 15 2015

An American icon is headed to Mecum's Kissimmee, Florida auction next January. Charlie Lyons, owner of a restoration shop focused on old Chrysler products, got a lead on a two-owner 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona that had been sitting in a barn in Glenwood, Alabama for decades. Dodge built 560 Charger Daytonas (Canada and US production) to homologate the model for NASCAR racing, and then that car and the successor Plymouth Superbird terrorized NASCAR tracks for 18 months. The production car, however, 18 feet long and considered ugly, wasn't popular at the time, so many were beat up or simply disappeared. Around 385 are thought to exist today. Lyons said the first owner of this car was the town judge, who bought it for his wife. In 1974 the second owner - just 18 years old at the time - bought it for $1,800 so he could drive it to Panama City, Florida, for Spring Break, and had flames painted on the front fenders and the scallops trimmed in white. Otherwise this barn find is complete and stock, with matching numbers throughout, R4 Charger Red paint and a white tail, bucket seats, center console, three-speed TorqueFlite automatic, and 20,553 miles on the 440-cubic-inch Magnum V8. Hot Rod has the long story of how Lyons found the car and convinced the owner to sell for what he jokingly called "a shoebox full of folded money." Hagerty says a concours-worthy model can command $262,000. Mecum's pre-sale estimate for this Charger Daytona is $150,000 to $180,000. That sounds steep, but Mecum did sell another perfectly restored Hemi-powered 1969 Charger Daytona for $900,000 at this year's Kissimmee auction to actor David Spade. Related Video:

Watch the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat verify its 204-mph top speed

    Thu, Jan 29 2015

The industry is producing some ridiculously fast four-doors these days, from the Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte to the Mercedes E63 AMG and BMW M5. But the fastest of them all doesn't cost six figures. It doesn't even come from Europe. It's made right here in North America, by a US automaker. And it starts at under $64k. We're talking about the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Pentastar muscle sedan with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its 707 horsepower. Dodge claims it's the "quickest, fastest, most powerful [production] sedan ever," and they're not just blowing smoke... or smoking tires. During the final stages of development, engineers from Auburn Hills took a bone-stock, Hellcat-powered Charger out to a seven-mile oval for a top speed run and they filmed the occasion for posterity. The result? 206.9 miles per hour with the wind, 202.2 against it, for a two-way average top speed of 204.55 mph. Chew on that, imports.
