If you are in the market for a clean, low mile mini van that is very
affordable then you are going to LOVE my 2006 Chrysler Town & Country with only 55k orginal rust free, accident free
Florida miles! This van was owned by an older couple who recently traded it in at one of our major dealerships here
in Ft. Myers. They did not have kids so there are none of the usual stains, rips or spills like you get with a lot of
kids in the van. It is very clean inside and out and drives tight as new. It has a clean Autocheck report and
received a great score so you know it has a great history and being a true Florida van there is NO rust and even the
underside is still very clean, you won't see that on any northern vehicles. I just had it serviced and it is ready to
go. The exterior looks great with a nice deep Chrysler shine and no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. There is a small
door type ding on the hood, not bad but there and the headlights are nice and clear but have some light age cracks,
nothing that needs attention or effects anything. And on the rear bumper is a small scuff but again, nothing that
needs attention. There is a roof rack should you need it and there is NO hitch so this Town & Country has NOT been
pulling anything, which is nice. The interior again is very clean with no stains, rips or odors and everything looks
near new. The seats look great both front and rear and they are very comfortable and again there is seating for seven
if need be. All the power options work fine including the ice cold air conditioning and cd and cassette stereo. Look
over the pictures, it's a very clean and well cared for low mile van. What a pleasure to drive. The peppy 3.3 V-6 is
a great engine that is very dependable and economical and runs smooth as silk and it should with only 55k miles. The
brakes, transmission and suspension are all smooth with no shakes or rattles just as you would expect for the miles.
I have the factory books and two keys with remotes. Look it over good and I'm sure once you see and take it for a
spin around the block you will love it. I have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will
be just as nice as I am stating.Should you need help with shipping call me, if you decide to fly into Ft.Myers to
pick it up in person I will meet you at our local airport right here in town. I know buying a vehicle you haven't
driven is a little scary so I try to make it easy as well as fun!! As with all my vehicles, this one was put
through a safety check to be sure it is safe and road worthy. This includes an oil change and an inspection of the
brakes, belts, hoses, tires, fluid levels, etc. It's just one more thing I can do to make this a good experience for
you. I encourge you to call with any questions @ 239-872-5281. Thanks! ![]()

Chrysler is recalling 780,000 of its Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2010 to 2014 model years due to the possibility of circuits overheating, which can lead to a fire. Of the 780,000 total vans being recalled, Chrysler estimates that 644,850 are in the US, 106,980 are in Canada, 8,009 are in Mexico, and 20,638 are in other markets. All of the affected vehicles were built between August 25, 2010 and October 31, 2013. Chrysler's engineers discovered that beverage spills or exposure to moisture (from rain, snow, car washes, and the like) were linked to circuits shorting in the window switch assembly. Short circuits can overheat, and thus, cause a fire. Chrysler will contact owners and let them know when they may schedule service, at which point, the window switches will be replaced. In the interim, the automaker says that owners may visit their dealers after May 14 to have the switches disconnected.

When Lee Iacocca took the helm at the Chrysler Corporation in 1978, the company appeared to be doomed. The company's only modern front-wheel-drive cars either came from Japan or had been developed from Chrysler Europe's Simca operation, inflation was raging, and Middle Eastern conflict a year later sent fuel prices skyrocketing for the second time in the decade. Iacocca secured government loans to keep the company afloat until vehicles based on a brand-new front-drive platform could reach showrooms. Those were the K-Cars, debuting in the 1981 model year, and they saved Chrysler. The LeBaron was the ritziest of the early Ks, and today's Junkyard Gem is an example of the most prestigious LeBaron of 1983, found in a Colorado car graveyard last summer. The cheapest possible 1983 K-Cars were the two-door Plymouth Reliant and Dodge Aries, priced at $6,577 (about $19,959 in 2023 dollars). The 1983 LeBaron Mark Cross Town & Country convertible had an MSRP of way more than twice as much: $15,595, which comes to around $47,327 today. The LeBaron name came from a coachbuilder that Chrysler eventually devoured, and it was applied to the most glamorous Imperial models for decades. The LeBaron didn't become a model name in its own right until the 1977 model year, when a thick coat of bling was slathered onto the midsize Dodge Diplomat. That generation of Chrysler LeBaron stayed in production through the 1981 model year. The Town & Country name goes way back in Chrysler history, too. The very first Town & Country was a woodie wagon—with real wood— that first appeared as a 1941 model. Over the decades that followed, the T&C name was applied to sedans, coupes, wagons and convertibles, some with wood (or "wood") trim and some without, with only wagons getting that designation from 1969 through 1982. Beginning in 1990, the Chrysler Town & Country name went on minivans, and that's where it remained through 2016. The paneling on this car is plastic, but it was more convincing (when new) than most of the fake wood found on Detroit cars of the era. Convertibles made a big comeback for American car companies during the early 1980s, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth over "the last convertible" 1976 Cadillac Eldorado (it wasn't the last convertible you could buy new here, even at the time). The LeBaron convertible went on sale for the 1982 model year, and new drop-top LeBarons remained available all the way through 1995.

Not long ago, I wrote a story about a pony car tuned with a supercharger. The blower install had been done properly. Then the car's owner bolted on a set of great looking wheels wrapped in good looking but inexpensive rubber. On my first test drive, I couldn't get any of that supercharged sweetness to the ground. It was the perfect ride for parking in a Burger King parking lot on a Friday night. I tooled around on a Sunday drive, shaking my head that someone had spent five figures to get more power the right way, with a clean install, then wiped out the gains so thoroughly that the stock engine would likely have overwhelmed the tires. This got me thinking about the ways people ruin their quest for horsepower, either on the front end by not insisting on a clean install and paying the money for it, or on the back end with supplemental purchases like cheap tires or cheap gas. So I called three tuners, one focused on GM, one on Mopar, one on Ford, to find out what people should know about how to get the best power for their goals, and how to make sure they are able to use all that power. The first interview in this three-part series was with Blake Leonard at Top Speed Cincy in Cincinnati, Ohio, the second with Brandon Alsept at BA Motorsports in Milford, Ohio. This third and last interview is with Micah Doban at OST Dyno in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, a family business with more than 40 years of Mopar expertise specializing in Gen III Hemis, but tuning everything from land-speed cars and drag racers to Jeeps The interview has been edited for clarity and concision. Do people who come to OST generally know what they want? Probably 80% of the people who come in simply want more power with no particular ET goal [ET is a kind of bracket handicapped drag racing – ed.]. WhatÂ’s the best way to start a Mopar tune? The first thing is what people often skip, and that's to find a tuner or a shop. People will throw parts on their cars that the Internet said to, then go to a tuner who does things a different way, and [the tuner is] like ‘No we don't like to use these injectors, we don't like these parts.Â’ You have to find someone familiar with the parts that are on your car or that you're planning to put on your car. So having a goal and then finding a tuner who can help you with that goal is proper way to start. Exactly. And a lot of tuners have their own formula – and when I say tuner I mean someone that also does work to the cars.
