1998 Chrysler Sebring JXI convertible for parts or repair, V-6 Auto trans., cold A.C., CD Player, new battery, power top works but needs manual assistance, runs and drives but overheats and has oil leak. No reserve price, need the garage space.

On Apr-05-13 at 17:21:30 PDT, seller added the following information:

Update as of 4/5/2013. Started vehicle and let run for 1-1.5 hours in garage this afternoon, vehicle did not even come close to overheating and cooling fan came on approx. every 15 minutes as it should, temp gauge stayed in the middle without nearly reaching the high side throughout the whole time running. Cat. converter rattles when car is shifted into reverse while backing up but no rattles while in park or drive. Drivers side rear window needs new regulator and aftermarket stereo is a JVC compact disc player with removable faceplate. Drivers seat bottom torn from normal wear and tear of aged leather, the rest of interior in good condition. Thank you all for bidding.

Chrysler's Jefferson North plant builds 5-millionth SUV [w/video]

Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant opened in 1992 for production of the first Jeep Grand Cherokee, but in the subsequent years, the Detroit plant has gone on to produce some of the company's biggest SUVs including the Jeep Commander and Dodge Durango. Earlier this week, the plant produced its five-millionth SUV, which, fittingly, was a Grand Cherokee.
Celebrating the plant's five-millionth unit, the silver 2014 Grand Cherokee was promptly donated to the USO. In addition to this milestone SUV, Chrysler also had a near-perfect 1993-95 ZJ Grand Cherokee on hand for the photo op. Chrysler fires protest organizer at MI assembly plant

Chrysler has reportedly fired a Warren Stamping Plant worker for what the company is calling a violation of its code of conduct. Alex Wassell (left), a 20-year veteran with the automaker, was suspended without pay after he was quoted in an article in The Detroit News. The 63-year-old welder repairman helped organize a demonstration against a new work schedule and was protesting outside the Michigan plant on February 28 when he was interviewed. Chrysler then fired Wassell when the paper published his comments. Wassell, has since filed a grievance and says that he's looking for an amicable settlement between his union and his former employer.
Meanwhile, multiple civil liberties groups have spoken out against Chrysler's decision to dismiss Wassell. Both the National Lawyer's Guild and the American Civil Liberties Union have released statements on the situation, with the ACLU saying "Employees have a right to air their grievances, even if that means a public demonstration or a comments to the media."
According to The Detroit News, Chrysler spokesperson Jodi Tinson said that Wassell was fired for "engaging in activity constituting or appearing to constitute a conflict with the interest of the company."
