Hello

I am selling my Precious Chrysler ( Plymouth ) Prowler Mullholland edition. This car gets attention like no other car on the road. If you are wanting people to take pictures of you and give you thumbs up everytime you take your car out, this is what you have been waiting for.

This car is a blast to drive. The car Stops accelerates and turns on a dime.

250 horsepower engine is more than plenty in this all aluminum chassis.

2000 Proffesional sound system is just amazing specifically designed for convertible riding. Sound is perfect even when driving with the top down.

Top is in great condition except for one small tear which was repaired. Not visible unless pointed out.

All glass is perfect.

Chrome wheels Are like new, no peeling cracking or any sort of issues. They look new. Very rare to have wheels in such nice condition.

Paint is beutiful, Mullholland edition has very nice sparkly mettalic blue paint.

Hid headlights and custom exhaust are the only modification on the car, other wise bone stock. No engine mods, no body mods, etc.

Car Sound Fabulous. Sounds just like a v8 very deep not raspy AT ALL! Everyone is amazed when I tell them it isnt a v8. Roars when you accelerate. It was very hard but this prowler was always babied it never driven hard. Just used as a cruising car.

Car starts up everytime, No mechanical issues whatsoever. Hid headlights make it really easy to drive at night since they illuminate everything in a mile.

Car is very clean always stored in garage never driven in rain or snow.

Only put in 93 octane gas, and only full synthetic mobil 1 oil changes.

Timing belt, serpentine belt all fluids flushed and refilled. brakes done. power steering fluid changed. brake fluid changed. ac belt replaced. Coolant flushed and replaced.

Car runs like new. AC blows ice cold.

Top opens and closes perfectly without squeaks or any noise.

Interior is 9.5 out of 10. Only flaw is there is small mark on top of dash barely noticeable, otherwise interior is mint.

If you are looking for a nice prowler that has been babied at a low price this will be the one to get.

Looking to put a downpayment on a new truck so tried to price low for quicker sale. So that is why it is priced so low.

Tires are less than one year old have less than 5k miles on them 90 percent tread left. No burnouts done or anything.

Car needs nothing Ready to drive as soon as you turn it on. All major maintainence done with reciepts to prove. spent over 1500 dollars.

Thank you I would reccomend coming to see the car, As that is the only way you can appreciate in how nice of a condition this car is.

Former Treasury boss unaware auto task force fired GM's Wagoner

Wed, 14 May 2014

We dig a good political tell-all every once in a while (how else will we get our political fix while waiting for House of Cards' third season?). Today, we get just that from former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner's new book, "Stress Test," which details, among other parts of the 2009 financial catastrophe, the structured bankruptcy that allowed Chrysler and General Motors to emerge as competitive players in the auto industry.
In the book, which is nicely recapped by The Detroit News, Geithner discusses the firing of GM CEO Rick Wagoner while explaining how much trust he had in the auto industry task force that executed the move without his knowledge.
Auto Czar Steve Rattner "didn't even consult me before he fired General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner; if anything, that move increased my confidence in Team Auto," Geithner wrote.

Ralph Gilles talks minivans, Millennials, mobility, and kissing Alfa Romeos

Fri, Jan 13 2017

We sat down with Ralph Gilles, the global head of design for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The veteran stylist has worked for the company for 25 years, and oversees the design of all of the products in the FCA portfolio – everything from mobility pods to Maseratis. This serves Gilles just fine, as his personal automotive interests are exceedingly diverse. The FCA stand was unusually quiet (until Vice President Joe Biden stopped by at the end of our time there) and Gilles was willing to weigh in on a wide range of subjects. Autoblog: We're seeing all of these autonomous mobility pods like Portal being presented at auto shows like CES or NAIAS, but we're not seeing any adoption of this kind of small vehicle in the market. What's your perspective on our pod-like autonomous future versus our truck-centric present? Ralph Gilles: Obviously I pay attention to the industry as much as your readers and yourself, and everyone has a take on the future. We had a debate, we could have done a supercar or something for pure sex appeal [ apparently that's also in the works], but we chose something practical, to really look at the future in a different perspective. We have these Millennials, a huge swath of people born between 1982 and 2004, and the oldest ones are turning 35 right about now, and a lot of them are having families later in life but when they have them they have a little more buying power, so it makes for an interesting cocktail. The one stipulation we had on the Portal project was that everyone had to be a Millennial to be on the team. So that excluded me, I had more of a coach role on the team. And to your point, the Portal in its current state as you see it is not going to be on the road tomorrow. But there's a lot of ideas, a lot of connectivity ideas, a lot of styling ideas, even lighting and technologies that will absolutely find their way into vehicles in the next few years. AB: Being a Detroiter, all of this attention we've had recently in Vegas, CES – I heard that they're maybe going to be running the show at the same time next year. Do you feel a little protective of the Detroit Show? RG: Yeah, it's something to watch. I hope it's not an aggressive thing on their part, by moving the shows on top of each other. They're both important shows. CES, I've been going to for the last five years, and it's changing. There's a lot more automotive content, but there are a lot more start-ups too, and it's interesting to watch.

Automakers want to stop the EPA's fuel economy rules change, and why that's a shortsighted move

Tue, Dec 6 2016

With a Trump Administration looming, the EPA moved quickly after the election to propose finalizing future fuel economy rules last week. The auto industry doesn't like that (surprise), and has started making moves to stop the EPA. Ford CEO Mark Fields said he wanted to lobby Trump to lower the standards, and now the Auto Alliance, a manufacturer group, is saying it will join the fight against cleaner cars. The Alliance represents 12 automakers: BMW, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, GM, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Toyota, VW, and Volvo. Gloria Bergquist, a spokesperson for the Alliance, told Automotive News that the "EPA's sudden and controversial move to propose auto regulations eight months early - even after Congress warned agencies about taking such steps while political appointees were packing their bags - calls out for congressional action to pause this rulemaking until a thoughtful policy review can occur." The EPA was going to consider public comments through April 2017, but then said it would move the deadline to the end of December. That means that it can finalize the rules before President Obama leaves office. The director of public affairs for the Consumer Federation of America, Jack Gillis, said on a conference call with reporters last week when the EPA originally announced its decision that it is unlikely that President Trump will be able to roll back these changes. Gillis also said on the same call that any attempt by the automakers to prevent these changes would be history repeating itself. "These are the same companies that fought airbags, and now promoting the fact that every car has multiple airbags," he said. "These are the same companies that fought the crash-test program, and now are promoting the crash-test ratings published by the government. So, it's clear that they're misperceiving the needs of the American consumer." There are more reasons the Allliance's pushback is flawed. Carol Lee Rawn, the transportation program director for Ceres, said on that call that the automotive industry is a global one, and many automakers are moving to global platforms to help them meet strict fuel economy rules around the world.
