THE BODY ON THIS CAR IS IN VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL PAINT. THE FLOORS AND TRUNK ARE VERY SOLID. THE CAR COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL FENDER SKIRTS. THE ARE VERY FEW DINGS OR DENTS ON THE CAR. THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT CONSIDERING THE YEAR. THERE ARE STONE CHIPS, AND MINOR SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE, BUT IT IS 45 YEARS OLD. THE PAINT IS DECENT FOR THE AGE. ALL OF THE GLASS IS GOOD. IT HAS A DARK GREEN VINYL TOP. THE TOP IS ACTUALLY IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE, BUT THERE ARE SOME BUBBLES UNDER THE VINYL IN A FEW PLACES. THE CHROME TRIM, BUMPERS ETC ARE COMPLETE AND IN GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS 4 NICE CHRSYLER RALLY WHEELS ON THE CAR WITH NEW TIRES.
THIS CAR CAME WITH THE 440 TNT HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINE. IT WAS A STOCK 375 HP. THE ENGINE RUNS WELL. THE CAR SOUNDS REALLY GOOD WITH THE NEW TRUE DUAL EXHAUST. MECHANICALLY THE CAR IS IN GOOD CONDITION. A LOT OF NEW PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS.
THE INTERIOR IN THIS NEW YORKER IS DARK GREEN IN COLOR. IT HAS BUCKET SEATS AND A CONSOLE. THE HEADLINER, DASH , DOOR PANELS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE FOR THE YEAR. BOTH ARMRESTS HAVE SOME CRACKS. THE DASH HAS A FEW MINOR CRACKS. CARPET IS NEW.SEATS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE ONLY SEAT WITH IMPERFECTIONS IS THE DRIVER SEAT. IT HAS A SEAM PULLED APART, AND A SMALL HOLE IN THE SEAT BOTTOM.THE CAR CAME WITH A FACTORY TILT AND TELESCOPIC STEERING WHEEL.
THE MAJOR THING WRONG WITH THE CAR IS THE POWER WINDOWS NEED SOME WORK. THEY ARE NOT WORKING AND I NEVER MESSED WITH THEM. THERE ARE A FEW EXTRA POWER WINDOW REGULATORS INCLUDED WITH THE CAR. THERE ARE ALSO SOME EXTRA SWITCHES. IT NEEDS SOMEONE TO SPEND A COUPLE HOURS AND GET THEM ALL WORKING PROPERLY.
THERE ARE NUMEROUS EXTRA PARTS THAT ARE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE. EXTRA JACK PARTS, STEERING BOX, INTERIOR PIECES ETC.
THIS IS A NICE OLD CAR WITH AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF OPTIONS, IT IS LOADED AND IN GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION. I CANT SEE WHERE ANY BODY WORK HAS EVER BEEN DONE. IT APPEARS TO HAVE ALL ORIGINAL PANELS. THIS CAR IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND FUN TO DRIVE. IT DRIVES VERY WELL. DRIVE IT OR RESTORE IT AS YOU GO.
WOULD LIKE $1500 DOWN IN 2 - 3 DAYS AND BALANCE PRIOR TO PICKUP. WILL ACCEPT CASH, WIRE OR ANY CERTIFIED FUNDS. WILL COOPERATE WITH SHIPPING CO'S OR FLY IN AND DRIVE IT HOME! WILL SELL OVERSEAS. THANKS FOR LOOKING

Former Fiat Chrysler VP pleads guilty in UAW corruption probe
Tue, Jan 23 2018Former Fiat Chrysler Automobiles executive Alphons Iacobelli pleaded guilty on Monday in connection to allegations that he made at least $1.5 million in improper payments to senior union officials, the U.S. attorney's office in Detroit said. Iacobelli, 58, a former Fiat Chrysler vice president of employee relations, was charged in July in U.S. District Court in Detroit with taking part in a conspiracy to pay prohibited money and gifts to United Auto Workers union officials. Sentencing was set for May 29. Iacobelli faces a statutory maximum of eight years in prison, and prosecutors said he will be required to repay $835,000. A lawyer for Iacobelli did not immediately comment on Monday. Iacobelli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the Labor Management Relations Act and to filing a false tax return based on his failure to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in income that he illegally diverted, the government said. Iacobelli reportedly made some lavish purchases with money taken from the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center — a 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider and two solid-gold Mont Blanc pens costing $37,500 apiece. He reportedly sold the sports car at a discount when news broke of the investigation. The government said Iacobelli conspired to make illegal payments in an effort to obtain concessions and advantages for Fiat Chrysler "in the negotiation, implementation and administration of the collective bargaining agreements between FCA and the UAW." Monica Morgan, the wife of former UAW Vice President General Holiefield, who died in March 2015, is also expected to plead guilty, Reuters reported last week, citing a person briefed on the matter. She faces a plea hearing on Feb. 6. Morgan was charged with conspiring with Iacobelli to violate federal labor law. Morgan's lawyer, Steve Fishman, declined comment. Jerome Durden, a former Fiat Chrysler official whom the government charged with conspiring to divert over $4.5 million in UAW training center funds, pleaded guilty in August. The Justice Department has a wide-ranging investigation under way. In November, General Motors and Ford confirmed they were cooperating with the investigation into alleged misspending at UAW union training centers funded by U.S. automakers. It was not clear if Iacobelli is cooperating in the ongoing investigation. General Motors is conducting an internal investigation into the matter. The UAW said in a statement Monday that it is "appalled at these charges.
Mopar's 80 years told through vintage ads
Thu, Jan 5 2017It's more than just car parts. Mopar started in 1937 an antifreeze brand, and 80 years later Fiat Chrysler's now-iconic aftermarket division is known for everything from muscle cars to smart phone apps. This is reflected in its advertisements over the years, which show off the brand's capabilities at different moments. Rediscovered from deep in Mopar's archives as it kicks off a year-long celebration of its history, the ads are snapshots of the former Chrysler Corp. and the mood of America at those times. A colorful, free-spirited 1972 ad hawks T-shirts. A plainer 1964 spot shows off Mopar's expansive portfolio with the tagline, "sorry, we ran out of space!" There were too many parts to show them all. Another 1960s ad explains Mopar's new wire and cable products in what was likely a magazine spread or multi-column newspaper entry. Going back farther, an ad from the 1940s touts radios through wind-in-your-hair exuberance, while a later placement shows a Ward Cleaver-type waxing his hardtop. Slightly more recently in 1989, Mopar used its muscle-car heritage to encourage restoration and customization just as nostalgia for that era was growing. "The Mopar brand holds an unparalleled place in the automotive world, possessing name recognition, scope of service, and passionate enthusiasts unmatched by any other service and parts organization in the industry," Pietro Gorlier, Mopar's global chief, said in a statement. While those advertisements highlight its earlier days, Mopar is using its 80th year to look forward, noting its modern service offerings, competition in motorsports, and special edition models, like a custom Ram Rebel. These ventures have advanced the Mopar's scope and elevated its awareness with consumers, who often don't know what brand of aftermarket products their car uses. Yes, Mopar still wants to sell as many car parts as possible, but as these ads show, it's always been more than that. Junkyard Gem: 2006 Chrysler 300C
Fri, Dec 28 2018During my wrecking-yard travels, I tend to focus on old, rare, and/or strangely badge-engineered vehicles when I decide what is worth documenting. Sometimes, though, a fairly mainstream vehicle from our current century catches my eye, and this 2006 Chrysler 300C in a Charlotte, North Carolina, junkyard is such a car. The current Chrysler Hemi engine family first appeared in 2003 Dodge trucks, and so the revival of the legendary Hemi name was still pretty new when the 300C went on sale. This car had 340 horsepower when new, which almost certainly meant more power at the wheels than the 426 Hemi cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s (the differences between gross and net horsepower ratings tend to result in inflated power numbers for cars of a half-century back). At considerably more than 2 tons, however, the 300C wasn't likely to humiliate a '70 Hemi 'Cuda in a drag race. This car appears to be in reasonably solid condition, so we can assume that something very expensive went wrong with the engine and/or transmission. That won't stop some eager junkyard shopper from grabbing the Hemi, though. The same junkyard had a 2001 Audi S8 when I stopped by, with 360 horsepower, but nobody will want that engine for their work truck. This content is hosted by a third party.
