2004 Chrysler Sebring Convertible.  97k miles.  One owner.  Title is free and clear and in hand.

I am selling this on behalf of my mother in law.  This was her husband's car and he passed away last year.  She drove it some, but not enough to justify keeping it.  I am selling it for her as I sell on ebay, she does not.  I stand behind this listing with my perfect feedback.  She lives 5 miles from my house, so it is easy for me to get, show, etc.  I have driven this car on more than 10 occasions to take my kids for a ride with the top down, so I am very comfortable describing the condition of this car.

This has been garage kept all its life.   Car was never smoked in.

I have 30+ high quality pics, just email me for the link to see them.

First the bad.  The obvious issue, as seen in the pics, is there is rust on both sides on the lower door frame.  This could be redone for a minimal amount of money as it would not require the doors or body to be repainted.  The rest of the body is rust free and paint is in very good shape.
Secondly, the shiny black trim that surrounds the top edge of the doors and trunk is a very soft metal.  It has several dents in it - but the doors and trunk are fine.  This can be seen in the pics.

Paint is excellent.
interior is excellent.  No tears, no rips, no stains.
Glass is excellent - no chips or cracks on either window.
Engine and transmission feel strong with no issues.
All features work - power everything.  CD changer.
Aftermarket rims.
Tires are in good shape.
Top is in crazy good shape for this age of a car.  No tears at all - just a slight bit of fraying in a small spot I have pics of
Top goes up and down perfectly (power).
Included is the "boot" to put over the top when it is down.  This has literally never been used, but they kept it still in the plastic.

I bought a carfax on this that I can print or send you as a PDF.  This listing has a car report, but if you want a true CarFax, I have that as well.

If local pickup, cash is required for immediate title sign over.  The only exception is if you have an account at a bank that has a branch in Noblesville, IN.  In that case I would meet you there and see you actually get the cashiers check made out so I know it is legit.  READ THIS AGAIN - I will not take an out of town cashiers check.  They are too easy to fake in this day and age.

If delivery, which will be your responsibility to coordinate (though I will be very helpful in making it work - like meeting the driver at a bigger parking lot where I work), I will need the cashiers check mailed to me and it will have to clear first.

The Plug-In Hybrid Chrysler Pacifica | Translogic 212

Thu, Dec 15 2016

Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know that minivans have a bit of a rep for being uncool. The poor minivan has been relegated to that of a tool solely intended to get kids to and from soccer games. Here at Autoblog, we're already proponents of the minivan for its incredibly utility and under-the-radar, nearly hipster-like ironic coolness. This year, the good folks at Chrysler are working to change the soccer-mom stereotype by giving its people-hauler a much needed injection of style, lots of new tech, and a plug-in hybrid option in the form of the new Pacifica. Translogic host Jonathon Buckley sat down with Matt McAlear, Senior Manager of Chrysler Brand Product Marketing to discuss how Chrysler went from inventing the segment all the way back in 1984 to reinventing it in 2016. Matt explains that not only is the Pacifica "...the first hybrid in the minivan segment," but it's alsm one of the most functional hybrids available. With room for 7 passengers plus cargo and 30 miles of all-electric range, the features on the van are nothing to scoff at. After the chat, Bucko takes the minivan to someone who will be able to appreciate it even more than him, a mom of two. NYT profiles Blue Nelson, a reclusive and interesting CA car collector

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

If it weren't for his Dale Earnhardt Sr. looks, Blue Nelson could be one one of those soft-spoken, nondescript guys whom you meet briefly and never learn much more about. However, as The New York Times shows in a recent profile and video, behind closed doors, Nelson keeps a fascinatingly eclectic collection of automotive oddities and vintage bicycles.
While his main career is in the movie industry, Nelson's other job is as a car hunter. He takes on clients searching for a specific model and helps them find and restore the dream vehicle that they're after. Hiring him takes some dedication, though, because Nelson doesn't advertise his services. "If people want to find me, they know how to find me," he says in the video.
Beyond being an automotive private detective, Nelson has a fantastically varied collection of vehicles of his own. He likes to have models that people don't usually see, and his garage holds a classic Chrysler New Yorker and an extremely rare Rometsch convertible. Although, the one that means the most to him is the 1962 Porsche 356 convertible that Blue came home in as a baby. Check out the video to learn more about Nelson and his philosophy about forming a bond with a car.

2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

Who is John Varvatos? If you're like me, that's the question you were asking after seeing commercials that advertised a limited-edition model of the Chrysler 300 with this mystery man's name attached. If you're not like me and consider yourself a fashionista even in the slightest, then you probably already know that John Varvatos is a successful menswear designer who cut his teeth in the fashion houses of Ralph Lauren's Polo and Calvin Klein. He's also a native of Detroit, which makes the joining of his brand and that of Chrysler's more intelligible, what with the Auburn Hills-based automaker still eking efficacy from its nearly three-year-old "Imported from Detroit" tagline.
Whenever one of these co-branded vehicles crosses my path, I try to judge them according to some simple questions. The first is, does the co-branding make sense for the target audience? And the second is, do the changes improve or diminish the experience of the standard vehicle? With this partnership, both brands are clearly aiming at the same target, or perhaps Chrysler hopes its aim will improve by partnering with the JV set, bringing it closer to that bullseye of style-conscious trendsetters.
The second question, meanwhile, can be answered with your eyes alone, as no mechanical changes are included among the Varvatos upgrades. Despite that, the 300C John Varvatos Edition is priced above - well above - all other 300 sedans save the 300 SRT8, suggesting that cool is not sold by the barrel (was it ever?) and Mr. Varvatos is a dealer in the stuff. Yet while I couldn't actually tell you if John Varvatos was a designer or a ditch digger before Chrysler introduced us, I do like his style, and the man knows how to dress a car.
