Palm Beach, Florida, United States

Exterior in EXCELLENT condition. NO rust anywhere, body straight, paint is bright. Convertible top is clean and looks almost new. There is a TINY tear, about 1/4" on the back passenger part of the top. The interior will need the drivers seat recovered as it is worn and torn on the seat.
Everything works on the car except for the radio display. The radio works fine though.
New tires!
New battery!
Car runs fine, no mechanical problems whatsoever except the AC needs a recharge. I added some freon and it blew cold for a few months then i think it leaked out.
Power everything including power convertible top.
174,000 miles, but for a 28 year old car thats only 6000 miles a year!
This car is old school to the max and gets respect on the road.
Florida car. Clean and ready to go. Title in hand.
PRIVATE SELLER. No sleazy dealer to deal with.

Next Chrysler minivan to get optional AWD, nine-speed auto

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

"The minivan package has always been a sacred thing ... it's basically a life tool" - Ralph Gilles
The stalwart duo of Chrysler minivans will be reduced by half in the vehicle's next generation, with the Dodge Grand Caravan likely going away in favor of a new people-mover-type vehicle. And while the reworked Chrysler Town & Country shouldn't radically shake up the usual minivan formula, a new report from Automotive News suggests that some new technologies and thoughtful updates are in the cards for our Canadian-built van.

Volkswagen Routan dead one last time

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Volkswagen halted production of the Routan minivan in late 2012 due to low sales volume, but there were reports swirling around that it would live on and continue production alongside the closely related Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan. But now VW says that it will indeed stop Routan production for good, The Detroit Bureau reports.
As of our report in March, VW hadn't built a single Routan in 2013, and we can't imagine things have gotten much better for the minivan since then. The Detroit Bureau reports that VW produced some 2014 Routans, but they aren't for sale to the public - they are fleet-only affairs.
VW originally intended to sell between 45,000 and 50,000 Routans per year, but since it was introduced for the 2009 model year, annual sales of the minivan have averaged only 11,500 units. VW has sold 57,683 Routans total.

Jeep sets all-time sales record in 2012

Wed, 09 Jan 2013

Last year was good to Jeep. Chrysler has announced its trail-rated brand set an all-time global sales record in 2012 by moving 701,626 units. That number easily surpasses the previous record set in 1999 when Jeep sold 675,494 models. All told, the brand saw a 19-percent sales increase worldwide over 2011, and much of that swell can be traced directly to the Wrangler. While the Grand Cherokee led Jeep sales, the Wrangler posted record numbers both globally and within the US, moving 194,142 and 141,669 units in each market, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Compass beat its previous global sales record with 103,321 units rolling off of dealer lots. In the US, Jeep sold 62,010 Patriot units, breaking that model's previous record as well. Jeep's impressive performance in 2012 marks the second year in a row the brand has seen double-digit percentage sales increases. Check out the full press release below.
