For sale is my 2006 Chrysler 300C 5.7 Liter. I bought this car a while back so I could restore it to its natural beauty. This car was involved in a very minor accident last winter. I was able to contact the previous owner of the vehicle to find out what had happened. This vehicle was at a stand still while it was hit by an elderly woman. I was told her speed was around 30 MPH when she hit the 300. The previous owners were the 2nd owners of the vehicle. They had only owned the vehicle for three months prior to the incident. There was no structural frame damage to this car. This car is in amazing condition inside and out. With all that being said, this 2006 Chrysler 300C does carry a INDIANA REBUILT TITLE. I have already completed all necessary paperwork for this vehicle to carry a Rebuilt Title. This vehicle no longer has a salvage title. The winning bidder will have no trouble or hassle from the BMV. Plating this car will be just as it would be with a clean titled vehicle. This 2006 Chrysler 300C is in amazing condition. I have personally driven this car and it drives and handles amazing. The power behind the wheel will amaze you. The interior is absolutely flawless with not a single scratch or tear. The prior owners took excellent care of this vehicle. This 300 also has only 53000 Miles on it. You won't find many 2006 300C's with that low of miles. The motor runs perfect and is very strong. The tires have about 75-80% tread left on them. This vehicle is in such great condition it looks as if it has been stored in a building all its life. The pictures definitely speak for itself. This is an amazing looking vehicle and it comes equipped with every option you can think of... Power seats/sun roof/ heated seats/ navigation/Boston Premium Audio sound system, leather, etc. The list goes on with options for this car. When I purchased this 300 the damage was very minor. Below is a picture of what the vehicle looked like when I bought it. As you can see from the pic, the damage is mainly on the driver side. The Air Bag system did not deploy in this vehicle. The Air Bag system is 100% functional. Listed below are all the items I had to replace on the 300. **** Front reinforcement bar, Front bumper with all components, Driver side fender, radiator core support, hood, air intake, lower A-Arm on the suspension, outer tie rod, fog lights and harness, grille, and the sun roof. I had to replace the sun roof because anytime a vehicle is involved in an accident with a sun roof, the track that allows the sunroof to open and close will get tweaked out of position. The only way to fix that problem is to just replace the whole sunroof. The sun roof is now 100% functional and DOES NOT LEAK. I promise you!!! As you can see, this 300C looks amazing inside and out and is a definite head turner. If you are looking for a great dependable car that looks and drives great, has all the options and comforts of luxury, then this car will not disappoint you. Although this vehicle has a Rebuilt Title, it will never take away from how luxurious it is and how amazing it looks. The previous owners left all the paperwork in the vehicle from when they bought the vehicle. It shows that they bought the vehicle when it had 51000 miles on it and they paid $15,999 for the vehicle before fees and taxes. If anyone would like to see the paperwork I will gladly send you a picture. I know that since this vehicle now has a REBUILT TITLE it is not worth that and I am not looking to get near that price, but I am not going to just give this car away. Chrysler recalls 350k vehicles over ignition switches
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Chrysler has announced a recall covering 349,442 vehicles due to ignition switches that can either become stuck or move without warning. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2008 model year, and were built before May 12, 2008.
The automaker has learned that ignition keys on some vehicles "may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position during engine-startup," the company said in a statement. Additionally, "an ignition key may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position and may inadvertently move through the 'ON' position to 'ACCESSORY' or 'OFF.'"
Chrysler says it is unaware of any related injuries, and notes that while reduced braking, engine or steering power is possible in such instances, the airbags are not affected. The later stands in contrast to General Motors' recent rash of high-profile recalls, and it's an important distinction that Chrysler (understandably) felt necessary to call out in bold print in its press release.

How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.
Stellantis moves to set up its own lending unit
Sat, Sep 4 2021Stellantis is buying Houston-based auto lender First Investors Financial Services Group to set up its own finance arm in the U.S., a move that should support sales and eventually boost profit. The only major traditional automaker in the U.S. without its own finance company agreed to pay $285 million to a group of investors led by Gallatin Point Capital and Jacobs Asset Management, according to a statement. The transaction is expected to close by year-end. Stellantis was formed via the merger between Fiat Chrysler and PSA Group early this year. Carlos Tavares, the PSA boss who became the combined company’s chief executive officer, called the deal to acquire First Investors a milestone that will increase earnings and enhance customer loyalty. “Direct ownership of a finance company in the U.S. is a white-space opportunity which will allow Stellantis to provide our customers and dealers a complete range of financing options,” Tavares said Wednesday in the statement. Having an in-house finance company has helped rivals General Motors Co. and Ford Motor Co. pad profits, especially during the global semiconductor shortage that has limited production and crimped sales. GM bought subprime lender AmeriCredit Corp. in 2010 and renamed it GM Financial. The operation generated a $2.76 billion profit in the first half -- roughly a third of the companyÂ’s adjusted earnings before interest and taxes. Trouble for Santander? The First Investors acquisition could spell trouble for Chrysler Capital, the operation that Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc. and Chrysler set up in 2013 before the U.S. automaker completed its merger with Fiat. In a statement, Santander Consumer said itÂ’s committed to supporting Stellantis through the term of their existing agreement and its transition. Santander Consumer will also have “ongoing conversations with Stellantis about long-term mutually beneficial opportunities beyond 2023,” the company said, adding that its consumer business remains strong and has “delivered solid results for our shareholders.” This, along with support from its parent company, will allow the lender to “pursue additional opportunities as they arise.” The lenderÂ’s U.S.-listed stock fell 1.5% in New York trading Wednesday after Bloomberg reported Stellantis was preparing to announce a new finance partner. Stellantis shares rose as much as 1.3% in Paris trading Thursday.
