1965 Chrysler 300, 4-door Hardtop, 383, 3-spd Auto on 2040-cars
Baltimore, Maryland, United States
READY TO CRUISE? Roll down the windows and hit the road in this head-turner!!! 1965 Chrysler 300 4-door Hardtop with the
following features: I purchased this car from a man who claimed to be the second owner. According to him, it was stored in a barn in Wisconsin from 1994-2009 on blocks. He purchased it in 2009, gave it a new paint job, restored the interior, did some other minor work on it and put it back on the road. Buyer must handle all transportation logistics and payments but I will work with your shipper to make the process go as easy as possible. I can hold the car following sale but will need it paid for, in full and cleared, before title is transferred and car is released. Condition Description: This car can be driven on a daily basis and for the age, it's in very good condition. There is very little-to-no rust on the car except for 6-7 small spots on the body along with 3-4 paint chips. The chrome rear bumper has some small areas of rust as well. The inside of the trunk is missing carpet but shows NO rust areas or holes. There is no jack or spare tire with this car. The two rear doors need new window regulators and the rear windows need some minor adjustment but all of the glass is in perfect order. The dashboard has one crack in it. There is a passenger side mirror that is not original and should be removed. The car was barn kept for 15+ years and stored properly at the time. I've replaced shocks, had brake work done, and other minor repairs. Otherwise, the car runs well and strong. We've taken it on numerous 300+ mile trips over the years with no issues. We've always used high octane fuel with lead additive. The gas gauge is not always reliable! The large print giveth and small print taketh away: We reserve the right to end the auction early in line with eBay policies, as it is also for sale locally. Notice to international buyers: You are responsible for ALL logistics and shipping costs. I am not prepared to do anything more than have your shipper pick up the vehicle after all payments have cleared and title has been transferred. |

Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values
Tue, 18 Mar 2014We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. The full list of recommendations is available on CR's website.
Chrysler gets presidential in ads for 200 and 300
Mon, Feb 15 2016Many people are already tired of the candidates in the 2016 presidential race, but Chrysler's new spokesmen are two former Commanders-in-Chief that just about everyone can support – Martin Sheen and Bill Pullman. Sheen had Aaron Sorkin's writing to guarantee he always knew the right thing to say as President Josiah Bartlet on The West Wing, and Pullman fought an alien invasion from a fighter jet as president in Independence Day. Now, these former on-screen presidents help Chrysler sell the 300 and 200 in two new ads. American-est (above) lets Sheen go wild spouting meaningless patriotic aphorisms while slipping in references to the cars' features. Swerve (below) gets a little more directly political by joking about pandering to "nuts" on the fringe during the primary, but the actors still slide in a mention of the vehicles' safety tech. These spots might help Chrysler move a few more units of the 200 before the company impeaches the sedan from the lineup, and the automaker also promises more commercials with Sheen and Pullman in the coming months. We hope Pullman jokes about his fight against aliens in one of the future commercials. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Chrysler appoints new heads of Alfa Romeo and Ram
Mon, 18 Aug 2014Chrysler has announced to two key appointments to its senior leadership, both of them taking immediate effect. First up is Reid Bigland, who has been named head of the Alfa Romeo brand for North America. Bigland has served until now as head of the Ram Truck brand, a portfolio he now hands over to Robert Hegbloom, who had served until now as its director.
As a result of the appointments, both Bigland and Hegbloom will take up seats on Chrysler's NAFTA Leadership Team, and Bigland will also join the Fiat Chrysler Group Executive Council - the highest decision-making body in the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles empire.
As per Sergio Marchionne's leadership style, Bigland will continue to serve in two major capacities, maintaining his role as president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Other senior executives who hold multiple key portfolios include Harald Wester (who serves as the group's Chief Technology Officer and also overseas Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Abarth), Olivier Francois (group Chief Marketing Officer and head of the Fiat brand) and Michael Manley (head of the Asia-Pacific region and the Jeep brand).
