Equipped as follows:
3.6L v6, automatic, air, tilt, cruise. Power steering, brakes, windows, locks, dual front seats, front and rear sunroofs, mirrors, and rear lift gate. Leather seating, with a third row seat, and dual front heated seats. Am fm cd stereo, on star, rear wiper/defoger, alloy rims, and fog lamps. Roof rack, anti-lock brakes, and rear backup warning system with camera. Security system, keyless entry, trailer tow package, loaded.
Condition as follows:
This vehicle took a hit to the left front. It originally had a sway in the lower structure rails, from left to right. I had the horns professionally straightned out. You can still see some liveable marks in the rails where the structure had been straightned. The hit never got into the strut towers or cowl area of the vehicle. The lower front radiator support purch mounts, on the front of the engine cradle still need to be straightned. Both of the upper fender rails look real nice. You pretty much need a complete peel off front clip, including the radiator support and coolers to fix this truck. The right front fender could definately be repaired, with some minor damage to the nose of it. Other than a small liveable crack in the upper right front corner of the plastic snap on engine trim cover, everything is nice. No damage to any of the complete drive line, or suspension. From the doors back as follows. One tiny door ding in the upper rear of the left front door. Another tiny one in the middle wheel well lip of the left rear quarter panel. The middle peak lower edge of the rear hatch/gate has a 2 inch paint scratch in it. The upper right edge of the rear bumper cover has a hard to even see dimple/depression in it. The right rear door has one tiny door ding in the midle front edge of it. One tiny non spreading liveable stone chip in the upper left front of the windshield. All four of the alloy rims have some normal, light livable oxidation marks in them. The interior is pretty much like new except for the following issues. Just the drivers steering wheel air bag is bad. Both front seat belts need to be replaced. When the passenger side one locked up, somebody moved that seat which caused the plastic seat side trim panel to get broken. The vehicle currently runs perfect, and lot drives. This is a great vehicle to build, and be into for way under the money. New this unit is probably over $40,000 dollars.

GM invests $175 million in Chevy Camaro factory
Thu, May 28 2015General Motors just keeps rolling out portions of its $5.4-billion plan for factory upgrades over the next three years. In the latest announcement, the automotive giant is putting $175 million into the Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant for improvements to build the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. The investment brings new equipment to the plant to build the pony car. An upgrade is needed to support Camaro-specific colors like Summit White, Bright Yellow, and Red Hot, and the factory is also getting two robotic framers. A second shift of 500 workers is resuming in Lansing later this summer to produce the model, as well. So far, GM has announced allocations for $2.8 billion of the $5.4 billion in upgrades. The investments include $1.2 billion to improve pickup production, $439 million for a paint shop for the Corvette, and more new equipment at other plants too. Lansing Grand River Plant Tools Up for 2016 Camaro $175 million investment enables production of lighter, more powerful model 2015-05-28 LANSING, Mich. – A $175 million investment for new tooling and equipment for the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, and the return of hundreds of workers to build America's best-selling performance car for the last five years, was announced today. The facility improvements include three new paint systems for Camaro-specific colors: Summit White, Bright Yellow, and Red Hot. The investment also includes installation of two robotic framers, which allow better dimensional control to provide a more precise drive experience. The Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant will resume a second shift of 500 jobs in late summer. The all-new Chevrolet Camaro was introduced on Detroit's Belle Isle on May 16. The current generation Camaro has been America's favorite performance car for five consecutive years, attracting both long-term Camaro fans and new buyers to Chevrolet. To improve on that success, the sixth-generation Camaro elevates every aspect of Camaro with a suite of new technologies, even higher levels of performance and fuel economy, and a leaner, more athletic design. "I may be the luckiest mayor in America today," said Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero. "Gearing up for full-scale production of the legendary Chevy Camaro is a new high point in the more than two decades of extraordinary partnership between the City of Lansing, General Motors and the UAW.
Corvette owner finds stolen car, but can't get it back [w/video]
Wed, Feb 25 2015It's not too uncommon to hear about owners being reunited with their stolen cars decades after reporting them missing. The story of Terry Dietrich in Georgia starts that way with police finding her lost 1972 Chevrolet Corvette after over 40 years. However, this case takes a different turn because unless she wants to bid on it, Dietrich's likely not getting the 'Vette back. Just six months after purchasing it in 1972, Dietrich's blue Corvette was stolen in Georgia, and in 1975 the sports car found its way to a man in North Carolina. He kept the car right up until his death just a few months ago, and that's when restorer Gary Green bought the 'Vette from his widow, according to Yahoo Autos. Unfortunately, after acquiring the Corvette, Green found some major discrepancies. For one thing, the listed VIN pointed to a '69 convertible, and there was a different serial number on the frame. Green reported the problem to the local police, and they figured out it was the 'Vette Dietrich lost over four decades ago. Consequently, the cops impounded it. The issue now arises that while Dietrich is the victim of the theft, she isn't technically the car's last legal owner. After the Corvette was stolen, she reported the crime to her insurance company, and it paid on the claim, which essentially forfeited her ownership. To make matters slightly more confusing the company can't find the title on the 'Vette either, according to Yahoo Autos. That leaves the well preserved 'Vette sitting in a police impound lot. It will likely go to auction.
