2007 Classic Chevrolet Duramax with quadrasteer. The quadrasteer was takin from a 2003 donor truck. It was never an option with the Duramax power train so this is one of a kind. Aftermarket accessories include a 10" Full Throttle suspension lift with 40" Toyo Open Countries on 20" Fuel wheels. We regeared the axles with 4:88 gears. All of the suspension is powder coated red. Has reservoir shocks. All of the steering is new. The gear box is a PCS brand set up for hydraulic assist steering. But it honestly doesn't need it. We also added a power steering cooler to prevent the power steering whine. The suspension has all new Moog bushings, Moog lower balljoints, Moog idler arm, Moog pitman arm, all new heim joints, and new uni-balls, Super Steer idler pivot, Kryptonite Extreme idler support frame gusset. The rear has a panhard bar from frame to upper leaf spring to keep the axle centered with the Deaver springs. The truck was painted all over when the lift and etc was done. On the inside it has the factory sunroof, factory luxury navigation out of an Escalade, upgraded luxury Bose, two toned seats, Escalade steering wheel, dash, and console with painted to match inserts. All led dome lights. Also has a flush mount sliding back glass. For performance we have done a SDP egr delete, PCV reroute, AFE cold air intake, Banks hot side charge pipe,Magnaflow downpipe, efi live , Flo-Pro 4" dual kit ran out to black 6" tips. Autometer e.g.t., boost, and trans temp gauge. Exterior we installed a cowl hood, painted to match bumper with smoothed top pad and lower valance painted to match. We smoothed the license plate off the bumper and put it on the drop down on the lift. The grille is painted as well with a black billet grille. Door handles and mirrors are smoothed and painted as well. L.E.D. cab lights, third brake light, and side marker lights in in the bed. The receiver hitch, drop hitch, traction bars and all of suspension is powdercoated red to match. Also the N Fab wheel to wheel steps are powdercoated as well. New head lights and new fog lights. Everything on this truck has been replaced or refinished within the last 3k miles. The suspension lift, tires and wheels, paint, lights, interior, and the performance within the last 3k. Cars with the most reckless drivers are full of surprises

Insurify is a site for comparing auto insurance quotes. Because insurance shoppers need to submit information like the vehicles they're driving and the infractions they've compiled while driving those vehicles, Insurify has quite the database of correlations tying certain models to a habit of breaking certain laws. When the site's data analysts decided to compile a list of the top ten models for reckless driving citations in the decade from 2010 to 2019, the ranking contained a few wild entries. The Dodge Challenger making the countdown will surprise precisely zero people. But the Saturn L200? First, a definition: USLegal.com defines reckless driving as "driving with a willful or wanton disregard for safety. It is the operation of an automobile under such circumstances and in such a manner as to show a willful or reckless disregard of consequences." So this list is a caution about particular drivers more than the cars. For a baseline, according to Insurify data, for any random model, 15 out of 10,000 people who drive that model have picked up one citation for reckless driving. Back to that Challenger, then. No shocker for being here, but it's actually number 10, with 44 out of 10,000 Challenger drivers nabbed for a willful disregard of consequences on the road. That's better than the first surprise entry, the Saturn L200, a sedan only on sale for six years, with the least horsepower on the list, and out of production since 2005. The data set put drivers of GM's extraterrestrial sedan at 45 reckless pilots per 10,000 drivers. There are two pickups on the list, the only modern one being the Ram 1500 at eighth, with a rate of 46 in 10,000. Somehow, drivers of the third-best-selling pickup in the U.S. outrun the overwhelming numerical superiority of the best-selling vehicle in the States, the Ford F-150. The other pickup is the Chevrolet K1500 at number five, with a rate of 56 in 10,000. This is not only the oldest vehicle on the list, it went out of production in 2002, before any other vehicle on the list. Between the trucks, the Volkswagen CC slotted in at seven with 47 in 10,000 reckless driving chits, the Cadillac ATS slipped into sixth with 48 in 10,000. The top four is a bag of unexpected. The Nissan 370Z is the first hardcore sports car on the list at number four, with 61 in 10,000 Z drivers flaunting their Fairladys in the face of Johnny Law.

GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado diesels finally heading to dealers

Customers who have been waiting to receive their diesel-powered Chevrolet Colorados and GMC Canyons should be relived to hear that GM will finally start to ship them out of the Wentzville Assembly Plant. "The highly anticipated 2016 GMC Canyon diesel has begun shipping to dealers," a company spokesperson confirmed to The Detroit News. The trucks originally had a fall launch date, but a final review forced a delay in deliveries. The 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel in the midsize trucks produces 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and the company touts the engine's low emissions. The Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board even put the mill through extra scrutiny with a real world test in the wake of VW's diesel scandal, and the Duramax passed with no problems. At that time, a Chevy spokesperson told Autoblog that the models' launch was on track. The Duramax engine adds $3,730 to the price of a comparable V6 model, but they're the most fuel-efficient pickups on the market. The EPA estimates the twins at 31 miles per gallon highway, 22 mpg city, and 25 mpg combined in two-wheel drive form and 29/20/23 with four-wheel drive. Buyers likely can't wait to finally experience these pickups after reading a heap of positive reviews. The Colorado diesel recently earned Motor Trend's Truck of the Year award.
