Well... where to start... THIS TRUCK IS FAST! This has been run at BIR (Brainerd International Raceway) in Brainerd, MN with runs at 11.87 @ 115MPH. It was also given the "Best of Show', and "Best of Quality" awards at the 2011 Lone Eagle Auto Club show in Long Prairie, MN.

hi torque mini starter

comp flat tap cam set 487 lift 214 duration (set) cam lifters springs locks and retainers and valve seals

487 casted castiron heads with major porting and polished also were 100% rebuilt

DART hi rise air gap intake with major porting and polishing matched to the heads

650 cfm 4 bbl carb dual feed double pump

custom full length headers with 3" collector and 3" to 4" side pipes sounds amazing very agressive idle lope

a top end crome set valve cover, timing chain cover and valve cover bolts

stock distributor with msd cap acell coil excell wires

THE BAD!!!: transmission is slipping really bad, way to much power for a stock transmission, it is somewhat drivable but needs a rebuild BAD.

highly recoamend to have your local transmission builder build a tranny to handle 500+ hp and with a 2500 stall converter. I have also found rebuilt tranny's on EBAY that would work for as little as $500.

This motor alone has over $7500 invested into the build. The truck has another $2000-2500 in build cost. At the end of the day, a $500-$1000 Tranny job will make this a top notch truck with amazing outputs! You will be VERY IMPRESSED!

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
