1999 Chevrolet S-10 LS 4x4 4.3L Vortec "Zombie Outbreak Response Vehicle"
This is one of my personal toys that I originally bought for light towing small loads of tires. I have owned it for a little over a year and recently upgraded to a V8 Z71. The original transmission gave way right at 200K, so we replaced it with one out of an 01 with 90k miles on it. (Receipts available) I Have NOT done ANY towing with the truck sense replacing the transmission, though it does have an aftermarket Trans cooler that it didn't have before. The truck was bone stock when I bought it (picture provided was taken the day I bought it). All of the upgrades are less than a year old, this includes: Full exhaust (very mild sound, not loud), 3" Lift kit, 31" tires, Roll bar from a 80's Nissan hard body, Bull bar, 4- 6" Fog Lights, 2 - 4" Fog Lights. Full sound system including aftermarket Tsunami speakers all throughout. Custom 2-Tone paint, Plastic Bed Liner, and 15" Crager Soft 8 steel wheels,
The truck came with the 6k Lb Drop Hitch, along with the towing package, power windows, power locks, A/C, Heat, Push button 4 wheel drive, Sliding back glass, Tinted Windows, and Rain Guards. The push button 4 Wheel Drive has recently had the vacuum pump replaced and the switch has been relocated to be more reliable than the factory unit (This was a common issue with this body style).

The truck runs great and drives solid. The 4 wheel drive locks in and out well, though I never used it myself, I had it serviced right before deciding to sell it. Nothing is wrong with it. No leaks. No smoke. The tires were kinda cheap (Made in China) and ride a little rough, but it never really bothered me. So if you want it to ride like a Cadillac, then you will want new tires. However, if you can handle a slight vibration, the tires still have about 70% tread left.

Chevy Bolt interior spied for first time
Wed, Oct 7 2015Chevrolet is continuing work on its Bolt EV, but thanks to some public-road testing in what looks to be somewhere in Michigan, we've captured our first look at the new hatchback's screen-intensive dash. Looking like a blend of the Chevy Sonic with the new Volt, the Bolt's interior follows a simple formula, offering a digital display in place of the traditional instrument cluster alongside a large, prominent display in the center stack. Nothing too shocking, except for the fact that both displays look larger than what's in the Volt. What's most surprising, though, is the shifter. It looks almost BMW-like in appearance. There's a dedicated park button accessible by the driver's thumb, and we're guessing a trigger on the front that can toggle the lever forward into reverse and backwards into drive. The central display, meanwhile, looks like it's running some very different looking software, compared to Chevy's usual MyLink fare. We can't be sure whether this is simply some development software that's free of polish and not intended for production, or a look at a new form of Chevy's connectivity suite. Aside from some different wheels, the exterior of this prototype looks unchanged from the last round of spy photos we captured of the new Bolt. Sorry kids, no new exterior styling to show you today.
