You are looking at a real a sharp  1954 Chevrolet 3100 Cruiser! This 54 Chevy has the right "Survivor look" The body is straight and solid shot in a older Butter Yellow paint. It starts, drives and stops very well. It has a Rebuilt 235 Thrift-master Six cylinder with approx 6000 miles on it since rebuild. External oil filter added on to keep oil clean and easy to change( you can buy filter at any local auto parts place )

Runs strong and starts up every time first try. Daily Driven! This Pickup has a 12 volt system with good wiring, GM "One Wire" Alternator, and new battery, rebuilt carburetor w/ chrome breather, new starter and solenoid. It still has the functioning foot starter. The Transmission is a 4 speed on the floor that shifts great in all gears. The clutch is nice and tight no slippage, short shifter with vintage cast shift knob. 1964 C10 12 Bolt rear end with open driveline helps this vintage truck scoot down the freeway. Dual “Shotgun Exhaust” dumps straight out the back, sounds great. Clean gas tank.

Purrs like a kitten, runs like a cheetah, and stays cool like Fonzi.

This Truck is lowered 8 under stock with de-arched leaf springs axel over with blocks in the back and Brand New Possey super slide mono leafs in the front. Brand new G-78 Wide White Wall Tires on 15" Red Powder Coated Smoothies with New Chevrolet Script hubcaps. This Classic stops on a dime, the brakes have new lines, shoes, master cylinder, and rebuilt wheel cylinders, brakes were bled and adjusted.

The interior is very comfortable with new carpet, new door panels from lmc truck, Original seat is plush and free of rips or tears, I've cleaned it up the best I could and it don't look to bad, I have kept everything on the interior original. The drivers side front flat door glass has a crack (not in drivers view), while the rest of the glass is brand new and crack free.

The bed is very usable, plywood base with redwood barn wood, for that farm truck feel. The body is straight overall. Good Original chrome Bumpers and 1949 Original Freshly Re-Chromed Grill. It has patina, some dents and dings. That said the truck is SOLID!!!

This Truck is for someone to just enjoy a nice daily driver or take it to shows it's not perfect it's not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool old pick-up and there are not many unmolested like this around.

This is a California truck and has always been to the best of my knowledge, a daily driver with clear California title and commercial Plates. Currently registered with Visible Vin and Body Tags. Drive as is or restore it, must see to appreciate!!!

2020 Ford Explorer vs 3-row crossover rivals: How they compare on paper

Thu, Jan 10 2019

The 2020 Ford Explorer has finally landed, and if history serves as an indicator, it should be bigger than sliced bread. And people sure love themselves some sliced bread. This new Explorer may look familiar on the outside, but beneath the skin is a radically new rear-drive platform related to the Ford Mustang (as opposed to a front-drive platform related to the Ford Taurus and a Volvo from the 1990s). Turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines now exclusively rest under its hood, which as you'll see below, both better anything its competitors offer. Ah, but if you're curious to know how the new 2020 Explorer compares to its various three-row family crossover rivals, take a look at the chart below where we stack it up against the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, 2019 Honda Pilot, 2020 Hyundai Palisade, 2019 Subaru Ascent and 2019 Toyota Highlander. There are others of course (Mazda CX-9, Dodge Durango, GMC Acadia, VW Atlas), but we only had so much room on the chart, and these were the newest and/or most likely to be cross-shopped with the new Explorer. Engine specs and towing Although the Traverse's V6 just nips it on horsepower, the 2020 Explorer's base 2.3-liter "EcoBoost" turbocharged four-cylinder engine smokes it on torque. Therefore, "best-in-class" power seems like a fair claim from Ford. That there's also a 365-horsepower turbo V6 available, plus a hybrid and even-more powerful ST model on the way shows that Ford isn't kidding around under the hood. Curb weight also seems competitive for the segment. In terms of drivetrain, the Explorer is the only member of this particular group to come standard with rear-wheel drive (2.3-liter only). The Durango is the only other three-row, non-luxury crossover to do so. This is significant for two reasons: First, you could potentially do a power slide in an Explorer. Second, and more important, those in the Snowbelt will have to opt for all-wheel drive (it comes standard with the 3.0-liter). By contrast, a set of winter tires will probably do the job just fine if you want to save some money and gas by sticking with its rivals' standard front-wheel drive. Well, except for the Subaru Ascent — that's standard with AWD. In terms of towing, the Explorer takes the cake with as much as 5,300 pounds for the four-cylinder and 5,600 pounds for the V6. Everything else tops out at 5,000, though again, the Durango is capable of besting them all thanks to its Hemi V8 engine option.

Rumor: 2016 Chevy Volt gets 53 miles EV range, 40% increase

Mon, Aug 3 2015

While we're still waiting for the official word from GM, news is creeping around the Internet that the 2016 Chevy Volt will get a big boost in all-electric range and gas-burning efficiency. According to new rumors out today, the second-gen Volt will be able to go 53 miles on a full charge, have 106 MPGe and be able to get 42 miles per gallon on the official EPA numbers. Compared to the outgoing first-gen Volt (38 miles EV range, 98 MPGe, and 37 mpg) these are all impressive increases. The all-electric range boost of almost 40 percent is the biggest surprise, though. We knew the new Volt would get better numbers than the first-gen model, but when GM debuted the car in Detroit earlier this year, it said it suspected the Volt would get a 50-mile range, 41 mpg and 102 MPGe. We'll be keeping an eye out for official confirmation of all these new numbers. Volt drivers are already making most of their driving miles electric. The number sits at about 80 percent currently, and GM has said it expects this to climb to 90 percent in the new model. GM said in May that the 2016 Volt will start at $33,995, a bit lower than the current Volt's MSRP of $34,170 before any tax breaks. So, for less money you'll be getting much better fuel economy. What's not to like about that? Preorders are already open for interested buyers in some parts of the country.
