1973 CHEVROLET NOVA SS 350 4-SPEED
I am pleased to offer this extremely nice 1973 Chevrolet nova Custom with a 350 C.I. engine, 4-speed transmission and factory air conditioning. I do not have documentation of it being an SS. I will describe this Nova as it was described to me. 1973 Chevy Nova (custom) SS 350 original engine, 4-speed transmission and a 3.08 rear gear. The diff is an 8 1/2 10 bolt. This Nova is equipped with power steering, front disc brakes (power) factory A/C, American Racing polished torq-thrust wheels, 16” front 17” rear, new radial tires. This Nova was repainted in first restoration in 2001 and the rest of the car was restored in 2005. The entire car has been completely restored including professional rebuild on engine, transmission, new Hurst shifter and installation kit, sub-frame removed blasted, painted and rebuilt. All new springs, shocks, poly-bushings throughout, Moroso bolt in frame connectors were installed. The interior is completely re-done. It has a new gas tank, new Mallory H.E.1, ignition, flowmasters, aluminized 2 1/2 ” dual exhaust 350/350 GM hydraulic cam, aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold, 650 Holley double pumper carb, front 1” sway bar, new radiator, many new items underhood, belts, hoses way too much to list. This Nova drives perfect and can be driven anywhere. Well over $25,000.00 invested. This is a Georgia car and was built at the Van Nuys plant in California. The VIN decoded reads 1- Chevrolet Y - Nova custom 27 – 2 door sedan H – 350 engine 3 – 1973 and L – Van Nuys, CA. I hope this tells you enough about this beautiful Nova but if not simply email or call with any questions you may have. We will always end an auction early so call and make an offer and still be protected under ebay. My personnel cell is 859-533-8238. Thanks for looking.

It's going to be a competitive race for the 2017 Green Car Of The Year. With a minivan in the running for the first time in ages, the five finalists announced by Green Car Journal today include five very different plug-in vehicles. As Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, said in a statement, "electrification is now considered by most automakers an essential technology for current and future high-efficiency models." Let's check out the list: Toyota Prius Prime, the updated plug-in version of the world's best-selling hybrid. Chevy Bolt, GM's all-new entry into the long-range EV game. Chrysler Pacifica, a family hauler with the ability to go 30 miles on electric power. Kia Optima. The nomination is for the full line-up, but really the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models are the green stars here. BMW 330e iPerformance, one of the automaker's many new plug-in hybrids that bring battery power to models outside the i sub-brand. Green Car Journal will announce the winners at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, along with some, "other green transportation announcements," whatever that means. Last year, the winner was the 2016 Chevy Volt, the first model to snatch up two wins. Which do you think should win this year? Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example. For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
