You are bidding on a car GM should of made. It started as a 1966 Nova wagon 100 series(no side trim basic car). The car was ordered red on red with a V8. It is from Montana and is 98% rust free. It still maintains original red paint. It has been modified with 66 nova 2 door sedan doors and b pillar quarter sections to make it a 2 door. You will see very few of these wagon but you will never see a 2 door. The quarter and doors section are rust free. The interior is all original except it now has a 66 2 sedan front seat that is a 50/50 split allowing you to get into back seat. These cars are getting very hard to find that aren't rusty and have original paint still. The car has rust in rear floor pans(see pics) and a couple small pin holes in front floor pans(I would just redo rear pans). I have left car with original paint on car and parts to show how nice the car really is. Look at pics of bottom of car and you will see how nice this car is especially the spare tire area. These are always rusted out. The car comes with an extra rear deck lid that has a small rust spot in the center but is an easy fix. The dash is uncut and all original. The glass I have is what you see is in it. I planned to do tinted glass in car. The car has NOS fenders that have been on car for several years. The one side has a small bubble of rust on NOS fender on drivers side(size of a pin head) The fenders alone are worth 1200. The quarters have been professionally fitted and spot welded in place. They will need finish welded and body work. The hard part is done and it is ready to be stripped down and body work started. All parts collected for this car were the best you could find to minimize any body work. Just to put things in perspective of cost to get a car to this point. 66 nova wagon roller minimal rust 5-7k(if you can find one),nos fenders 1200,rust free sedan doors and quarter sections 1500,labor to do conversion 2500. Once finished this car will have people scratching their heads because it will look factory. I have been messing with novas for last 25 years and I have only seen 5 done ever. Car has a CLEAR title. I can help arrange shipping anywhere in CONT US. TX650,FL750,TN600,CA800,Ny750 I need exact zip code for a exact shipping quote. Any questions feel fee to ask.

Chevy Bolt meets 2016 Nissan Leaf at LA NEDW event [UPDATE]
Mon, Sep 14 2015The 2015 National Drive Electric Week kicked off this past weekend with events happening all around the world. Our friends from Plug In America (PIA) send us some notes and pictures from one of the larger events in Los Angeles, CA. This event was special because it saw the debut of the 2016 Nissan Leaf and the west coast debut of the Chevy Bolt concept. The two electric vehicles were in the same place at the same time for the first time ever. Besides that little bit of electric vehicle history, the organizers helped facilitate 800 test drives, PIA co-founder Zan Dubin Scott told AutoblogGreen. The city of Los Angeles also gave proclamations to movie director Chris Paine (Who Killed The Electric Car? and Revenge Of The Electric Car) and the three national organizers of Drive Electric Week: PIA, the Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association. Speakers at the event included names that should be familiar to AutoblogGreen readers: California state senator Kevin de Leon, race car driver Leilani Munter, and Dave Barthmuss of General Motors, among others. Joel Levin, the executive director of Plug In America, said during his speech that, "Electric cars are changing the world. Every time one of these vehicles gets sold, our air gets a little cleaner. We will take a big bite out of climate change. Our economy will not be subject to wild swings in gas prices. And we will not be involved in foreign wars over oil." Tell us about your own NEDW events (that happened already or are about to happen) in the Comments below. UPDATE: We received the text of Andrew Speaker's comments at the event. Speaker is Nissan's director of Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales & Marketing. We've included them below. Thank you, and good afternoon! On behalf of Nissan, we are proud to sponsor National Drive Electric Week, and we're excited to be able to celebrate it here in Los Angeles with all of you. This is actually my first National Drive Electric Week event, and I am inspired by the level of enthusiasm here today, and seeing everyone's passion for electric vehicles first hand. Nissan has had some big news in the last few days with the introduction of the 2016 Nissan LEAF, which is the world's first affordable electric car to get more than 100 miles of range on a single charge. The 2016 LEAF offers a new 30 kWh battery with an EPA-rated 107 miles of range... and its making its global debut here in Los Angeles.

2019 Toyota Avalon vs. full-size sedans: How they compare on paper
Mon, Apr 23 2018Full-size sedans aren't exactly in great demand at the moment, and at least one of the vehicles in this comparison has been rumored to be on the endangered species list. Yet, we've just had our first drive in the 2019 Toyota Avalon, and if anything has a chance of rejuvenating the segment a bit, it's an all-new version of what has long been the segment's benchmark. To see how the new Avalon compares, we've put together the below spreadsheet featuring the Avalon's primary apples-to-apples rivals, the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala. We also included the Nissan Maxima, which is comparable in price, sales and non-luxury badge, and which offers the sort of increased driver engagement promised by the new Avalon XSE and Touring trim levels. We also included the outgoing Avalon for reference as well as that car's luxury cousin, the Lexus ES, which can definitely be cross-shopped with the luxuriously trimmed Avalon Limited. You can use our Compare Cars tool to create your own comparison, such as one featuring the rear-wheel-drive Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger or even Kia Stinger. Alright, enough chit chat. On to the spreadsheet. Performance and fuel economy The GM sedans may come standard with four cylinders, including a mild hybrid system in the LaCrosse, but puh-lease. The V6 is the name of the game in this segment, with outputs now surpassing the 300-horsepower mark. The LaCrosse is the horsepower and torque champ, though it also weighs a bit more than the new 2019 Avalon, so acceleration is likely to be comparable. The Impala weighs a lot more and has only a six-speed automatic, so despite having a wee bit more power, one should expect it to be pokier (not a good sign for a car rumored to be on the chopping block). One would expect the Maxima's 300 hp and lowest curb weight to result in the quickest acceleration, but then it's also strapped to a CVT, which despite being better than ever, is still a CVT. Things get worse for Chevy when you consider the Impala's base four-cylinder gets the same 25 mpg combined as the Avalon's V6 — once again a segment best. Now, should you really prioritize fuel economy, the 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid really stands out with a 43 mpg rating (or 44 with the base XLE trim) that bests the outgoing Avalon Hybrid. Honestly, after driving this new Hybrid, it actually seems like it would be the best bet for most buyers. There's sufficient power, and it only costs $1,000 more than the comparable V6 version.
