It has a freshly built motor (rebuilt in march of this year) in it with only 200 miles so far (still running break in oil and spark plugs). the motor consists of: 427 BB bored to a 432 (putting out around 800hp) forged internals with dome pistons running 14.5:1 compression 680 lift cam with titanium valve springs cast chevy heads that are ported and polished as well as port matched to the intake. holley 1050 carburetor. edelbrock intake the Trans: a built turbo 400, that was built with the best parts and rated to 1500 hp. full manual valve body trans cooler 3500 stall converter Exterior 6" cowl hood( it was needed with the intake and breather, it fills the whole cowl) weld prostar rims with mickey thompson et street tires freshly chromed front and rear bumpers stock ss 396 hood will come with the car. Interior All stock and very clean. only issues with the interior is the dash, the glass that covers the gauges is foggy and could use replaced and the glove box latch doesnt work anymore. the center console was pulled out of the car when the previous owner put carpet in the car and it was never put back in, we do have a OEM console that will go with the car tho. The car is a lot of fun to drive and the motor and trans were built with no short cuts taken. The car has NEVER seen rain, snow, or a track so dont ask for times because I dont know. There is no roll cage in this car and the back seat is fully useable because it was used as a show/cruiser car. I have owned the car for 11 years and it has only had 5,000 miles on it in that time span due to having no time to drive it car starts right up with no trouble and rides nice. The only reason for sale is I am needing to put the money into a business opportunity, I hate to sell it but I could use the cash if i can get it. |

Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
Final C6 Corvette built in Bowling Green
Fri, 01 Mar 2013With all of the attention given to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lately, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's already well along in production, yet tooling up for the new C7 has only just begun. In fact, production of the outgoing C6 generation in Bowling Green, Kentucky just halted on Thursday.
As the C6 has aged, production numbers have predictably ebbed along with demand, but this year, the addition of the 427 and 60th anniversary models resulted in an uptick in vehicles built - this, despite a model year shortened by around 25 percent to accomodate the new model changeover. The final C6 Corvette ever, No. 13,466 built this year, was a white 427 Convertible destined for the General Motors Heritage Center museum. The car's 7.0-liter V8 heart was assembled by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter himself.
In total, Bowling Green pushed out 215,100 C6 Corvettes over nine years. If you're still a C6 fan at heart and are hoping to get a good deal on a phase-out model, step lively - Chevrolet reportedly had about 6,100 unsold units, which Autoweek suggests is good for around five and a half months of supply at the model's current sales rates. Given that demand will likely slacken even further as the C7 draws closer, that should be a big enough stockpile to keep dealers satisfied until 2014 Stingrays begin showing up on their forecourts in December.
