Up for sale is a real nice 2010 Chevy Impala with only 47,634 miles. I want to remind all bidders that you are not buying from a high volume repair shop. I'm the owner, mechanic, collision repair and painter and I have been doing it for more than 20 years. I carefully hand pick these vehicles and make sure that they have little damage. If you are not sure who your buying from look at my feedback I would say it speaks for itself. This vehicle has a 3.5 liter engine which runs perfect with no noises or leaks of any kind. The transmission is also in perfect condition shifting threw all gears and again no leaks. It has power windows, power seat, power door locks, factory alarm, two remotes with keys, driver air bag, side air bags, passenger air bag, power mirrors, cd/radio player, air conditioning, power steering and alloy wheels. The brakes in the front have about 70% left in life and the back have about 80%. The tires have about 60%-70% of life left. This vehicle runs and driver perfect no exceptions. The exterior is in great condition with no dents and the paint has plenty of shine than again the vehicle is only 3 years old. The interior is in great condition with no tears or rips. I would say the interior is a 9.5 out of a 10 being 100%. I purchased this vehicle with radiator support damage over the front rebar and vehicle was repaired to factory specs. I replaced the new radiator support, new left headlight, new hood, new left fender, new ac condenser, new cooling fans, new radiator and new upper grille. It has a small ding on the drivers side and a scratch on the rear passenger side bumper which i will provide a picture. This vehicle will be sold with a PA reconstructed title which you will be abel to register in any state without further inspections except for the state of NY. If you live in NY you will have to apply for a inspection date which takes about 1-3 months and pay a fee of $200. This vehicle will give you years of trouble free with the mileage it has and save a couple of thousand $$$$ at the same time. if you feel I have missed any information please email or you can call me at 484-529-6121 which is my cell or if you would like to view the vehicle it is located at R.A. AUTO SALES, 791 EAST LIZARD CREEK RD, LEHIGHTON, PA, 18235 and the shop # is 610-377-3163. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING. GM Design shows what could have been and what might be
Thu, May 27 2021We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient.      View this post on Instagram            A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) There's also a very aerodynamic interpretation of a Corvette ZR-1. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear. Other recent posts include a FJ Cruiser-like off-road EV, a sleek coupe with the Chevy corporate grille, and a rendering of a Silverado-esque pickup that looks far better than the current production version.      View this post on Instagram            A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) It's pretty easy to lose hours in the account, but it's always fascinating to see GM's visions of what could have been and what might be. CNG-powered Chevy Sonic, Cruze headed your way
Fri, Nov 7 2014The value proposition for a Crazy Diamond Performance CNG ride was a little bit better before gas prices took a dive in the past month. Still, the Michigan-based company, which converts some of Chevrolet's compact vehicles to run on compressed natural gas, received approval late last month from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for two of its conversion models. And CNG is still pretty cheap. Crazy Diamond will start selling CNG versions of both the Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Sonic. The startup will target fleet operators looking to cut both refueling costs and their carbon footprint. CNG can be found in much of the country in the low $2 range, while the average CO2 emissions are about 25 percent less than those of similar gas-powered vehicles. Average gas prices have tumbled by more than 30 cents a gallon in the last month, according to AAA, but they're still at close to $3. The two models will be able to go almost 300 miles on a full tank of CNG. Crazy Diamond said this summer that it would start selling converted a CNG-powered Cruze that delivers 130 horsepower for as low as $26,000. The turbocharged version goes for about $28,000. Take a look at Crazy Diamond Performance's celebratory press release below. Crazy Diamond Performance recieves EPA approval on its CNG Cruze and Sonic CDP receives EPA approval for its Mono-Fuel CNG Cruze and Sonic. Shelby Township, Michigan, October 30, 2014– Crazy Diamond Performance (CDP) receives EPA approval on its Mono-Fuel Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Sonic. Crazy Diamond Performance has received EPA approval on two new mono-fuel small passenger vehicles, the CNG Chevrolet Cruze and CNG Chevrolet Sonic. These new mono-fuel CNG platforms are the first of a series of small and fuel efficient vehicles coming from CDP, where cost, low emissions and reduced fuel consumption is important for not only fleet owners, but to the general public as well. "Soon to be available, are the 1.8L and 1.4L Cruze and Sonic CNG retrofit systems. These two vehicles represent a change in the status quo, with an OEM level integration of the fuel system and its components" states Michelle Fern, Executive Vice President CDP Inc. These vehicles provide flexibility for fleets looking to purchase a domestic small mono-fuel passenger sedan, but have not had an option until now. There are significant emissions benefits over its gasoline counterpart, with an average reduction in Carbon Dioxide (CO2) of 25%.
GM again delays plant that will build the Silverado EV
Tue, Jul 23 2024 General Motors Co. will again push back the planned opening of an electric pickup truck plant in suburban Detroit and has delayed a Buick plug-in amid uncertain growth in battery-powered car sales. Mary Barra, the company’s chief executive officer, told analysts Tuesday on an earnings conference call the automaker is postponing until mid-2026 the opening of its Orion Assembly factory, which will make the Chevrolet Silverado EV. This is the second delay for the plant, which was originally slated to start production in late 2024. Shares of the automaker fell 4.1% to $47.52 as of 9:39 a.m. in New York. The stock is up about 32% so far this year. The delay is a main reason why GM wonÂ’t be able to meet its previous goal of having production in place to make 1 million EVs by the end of next year. The company said they will add production as buyers show more interest in electric vehicles. “We continue to make sure we continue to scale the business to customers and where they are at,” GM Chief Financial Officer Paul Jacobson said on a call with reporters. GM reported on Tuesday a 60% jump in second quarter profit compared with a year ago, topping Wall StreetÂ’s expectations on strong demand for its traditional gas-powered trucks in the US market.
