This 1996 IMPALA SS could be your show car. All numbers are matching on this real SS with all it's RPO Codes on the door sticker. It has the LT-1 350 engine (5.7L) with approximately 113,000 miles ( I do drive this car on nice days, so if you want the exact mileage please send me a message). The Title lists mileage of 9,999,999 and state "Odom Discrepancy", however the actual mileage can be verified through Carfax.
The positives: 2 Year old PPG Base, Clear Paint - Cost $4,500.00 24" Rims and Tires with less than 500 miles on them - Cost $2,600.00 Custom Leather Seats and Headliner - Cost $1,800.00 Sound System - Cost $1,700.00 This Impala SS also has the following: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, Hypertech Chip, K & N cold air intake, HID headlight kit, and tinted windows. The following parts have been replaced within the last year: KYB shocks, Eibach springs, complete brakes (rotors, calipers, and pads), radiator, water pump, injectors, optispark, starter, power steering pump, mass air flow sensor, battery, cooling fans, pulleys, oil pan. The following items have been serviced in the last year: AC serviced, transmission serviced, and a full tune-up with plugs, wires, etc. This SS is a real head turner and runs, drives and shifts great, as it should with all the upkeep put into this vehicle. It is only driven in nice weather, as this vehicle was on it's way to becoming a show car. I do NOT have the original wheels that came with the car from the factory. The Negatives: - There is a 1 inch crack in the dash (not really noticeable) - There is a small hole from a spring on the driver's seat - There s a dent on the front center part of the hood - There is a long scratch on the wing as seen in the pictures - The passenger front window goes off the track sometimes - The power antenna is broken - The driver's side mirror is missing the glass All of these fixes are minor. There has been some serious money put into this vehicle over the last two years, and it wouldn't take much to complete this car to be a real show vehicle. This is the only year that the SS was made with the center console shift. This car is rust free and could be your great investment. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged before bidding. |

Chevy Traverse, Hyundai Santa Fe revealed; Buick Envista, BMW M4 CSL driven | Autoblog Podcast #790
Fri, Jul 21 2023In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor John Beltz Snyder. After some banter, including the discussion of an excellent tomato sauce recipe, they get into car reviews. Greg has been driving the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53, while John has been testing the BMW M4 CSL and Buick's new Envista crossover. There's lots of interesting news this week. Chevy revealed the 2024 Traverse with new looks, a new engine and on off-road(ish) trim. Hyundai gave us a glimpse at the wild styling of the next Santa Fe. Dodge might bring back the Stealth nameplate as an SUV, and that has implications for the Durango as well. Ford, after repeatedly raising prices, has turned around and significantly discounted the F-150 Lightning across all trims. The first Tesla Cybertruck has rolled off the line as a pre-production prototype. Finally, we reach in to the mailbag and help a listener decide what to do with cars for himself and his kids in this week's Spend My Money segment. Best Large SUVs of 2024
Tue, Dec 19 2023When it comes down to large SUVs, there's more to consider than price and just how large it is. First, it comes down to what's underneath the skin. Some are built on a truck-like body-on-frame chassis — this would be the traditional, literal definition of an "SUV." Others use car-like, unibody construction, which would make them a crossover. What really matters, though, is how you use them. For most American families, a large three-row crossover is going to be your best bet. They have loads of passenger and cargo space, and deliver superior fuel economy, handling and ride quality than those big traditional SUVs. They're cheaper, too. On the other hand, those traditional large SUVs like the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition are better-suited for more heavy-duty tasks like towing. Most now have bigger third rows than big crossovers, while extended-length versions like the Chevy Suburban have way more cargo capacity behind their third rows than everything but an airport shuttle. As for luxury large SUVs, they fall into those same two categories as well, with American choices mostly being truck-based. The pros and cons of choosing one over another are similar. Below, you will find our list of the best large SUVs broken down into three categories: large family crossover, large traditional SUV and large luxury SUVs, which comprise both construction types. Best Large Family Crossovers | Best Large Traditional SUVs | Best Large Luxury SUVs Best Large Family Crossovers 2024 Honda Pilot Why it stands out: Exceptional storage and cargo space; unique second-row functionality; refined ride; versatile and capable TrailSport; advanced AWDCould be better: Subpar acceleration with lackadaisical transmission and engine response; so-so driver assistance tech Read our full 2024 Honda Pilot Review The Honda Pilot was completely redesigned for 2023. It maintains its predecessor's family-friendly packaging and overall focus, but it has injected a welcome sense of style (especially in the TrailSport pictured above) that makes it stand out much better from the big crossover crowd. The Pilot's restrained adornment and classic proportions are refreshing compared to the increasingly busy Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade and Subaru Ascent. Let's talk about practicality, though, which is ultimately the Pilot's best attribute.
Here's the production Chevy Bolt
Tue, Dec 1 2015"It looks like a Volt had an evening of regrets with an i3." That's AutoblogGreen editor-in-chief Sebastian Blanco talking about the car you see here, the 2017 Chevy Bolt. Our trusty spy photographers caught the new Bolt EV fully uncovered at a photo shoot, ahead of its official debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. To say the styling looks familiar would be an understatement. There's a lot of Volt elements here, and the nod to the BMW i3 is definitely valid. It's not unattractive, it's just sort of, well, there. Never mind, the Bolt will have a lot going for it when it launches, should earlier rumors come to fruition. The hatchback is expected to have a 200-mile electric range, and should cost right around $30,000 after incentives. The Bolt will be built in Michigan, and will likely arrive at dealers in early 2017. Chevy knows this one's going to be huge, and the company is fully committed to launching and marketing the Bolt the right way. We'll have the full details in January at CES. For now, feast your eyes on His Boltness in the gallery above. Let us know what you think about it, in the Comments.
