1962 Impala, Impala Ss Supersport Chevrolet Hotrod 350 Lowrider Classic Ss on 2040-cars

Up for sale is a 1962 impala coupe. The impala has a fresh restoration.

Paint:

The car is painted midnight green and has a white top with pearl. The paint is really nice but is not flawless. I think the paint is a  8.5 out of 10. The vehicle was sanded all the way down to the metal then painted.  The car was painted at a local body shop and I think they did a good job.  This is a California car and it is not a rust bucket, it is a solid car. Hard to find a car this old in this condition. The person I bought it from had it original looking and owned if for many years before me.

Interior:

The interior is tan and is also just redone. The seats, carpet, door panels, kick panels, ceiling, center console and the back dash were all re upholstered.   The interior also has all new door and window handles, new front window regulators, vent regulators, new ashtray, and new steering wheel trim.  The Dash trim is also new, not installed in pictures.  All mirrors are also new. I purchased impala floor mats but have not received them yet.  The trunk of the vehicle was also upholstered.  New seat belts.

Exterior:

The bumpers and bumber  guards  were re chromed. The grill is new and the outside trim was polished. The side trim is polished and the inside part was painted the same color as the car. The trunk and rear trim is also new but the center piece is not. The trunk ss emblem and all the other emblems are also new. All glass is in good shape and windshield is new.

Sound system:

The car has a old school looking chevy radio, but it’s a modern radio. The radio has a mp3 player hook up. The car has 5.5 250 watt pioneer speakers in the kick panels. In the rear dash it has 2 6x9 Pioneer speakers.  In the trunk the car has 2 10 inch square kicker solo baric subwoofers. The system is powered by 2 amplifiers, 1 is a 1000 what and the other is a 600 what amp. The complete sound system is new. This sound system is really loud!

Suspension:

The front suspension of the vehicle is new. It also has disk brakes in the front and back. The car has a new master cylinder and brake booster. The vehicle also has air bags so it rides really nice. The car has 4 switches which will allow you to move the car front, back, side to side. The Air bags have one 5 gallon tank in the trunk and two compressors

Engine:

The engine is a newer  350 and the transmission is a 4 speed,( I Think it’s a Muncie). The engine has, a mild cam, and it has a polished serpentine system with chrome pulies. The carburetor is a 750 edelbrock and is about 5 months old. The car has a electric gas pump, it has a new chrome alternator, The car has a new aluminum radiator and two electric fans.  The car also has a new brake buster and master cylinder. The hood hinges are new. The dual exhaust on the vehicle is hooked up with cherry bombs , I have 2 flowmasters and chrome headers that I will include in the purchase.

The car has new spark plugs, new oil change, new spark plug wires, and it was recently aligned. The car also has a chrome dress up kit.  This car has power steering with new hoses, and other power steering parts.  The car has a AC compressor but it is not a AC car and does not have AC.

Wheels and tires:

The car has new wheels and tires. I purchased them about 3 months ago. They are 18 inch chrome wheels in the front and 20 in the back. I keep the car garaged and don’t get to drive it much. The car has only been washed few  times since it was painted; this car gets dusted and waxed every week.

Other:

This car runs really strong and is a fun car to drive. Keep in mind it is a old car and I can’t guarantee it will run this good for ever. I strongly encourage you come test drive it, take it to a mechanic, inspect it, or anything else you need to do before you purchase the vehicle.
