Stereo surround sound throughout with a FM/AM stereo cassette player and CD player.
Cobra CB radio included.with original paperwork.

There is more wood than a Lexus in this van with it's V8 350 engine. And is better made than any van on the market today with real leather upholstery by Eagle Ottawa Leather Co. Grand Haven Michigan (wonder if that company is still in business or if they, like countless others have been taken over and shut down)  and real wood rather than wood finishes as in the $62,000.00 conversion vans that are now on the market. It's funny how such an expensive van nowadays have the cloth seats which absorb odors and stains. Where as this van was made with superior materials.Sad state of affairs our World is in today! Speaking of...

How many of my fellow human beings are without a home due to the Foreclosure scam?? And to add insult to injury, many large cities disallow the parking of RV's in your own driveway!?! The beauty of this van is that it is recognized as a road worthy vehicle that can also be used as a (temporary I Pray for you) home. Granted, it has no shower or bathroom but it is private and has ample sleeping and storage room.Plus multiple (wood covered) ice chests built in for food and drink. And reading lights galore so you don't have to turn on the all iluminating interior light .

And private! the windows all have limo dark tinting coupled with blinds as well as curtains. Note: the blinds need to be fixed for easier access,as for now they stay down (see photos) Plus for added air circulation the windows have those little openings with screens so that one may sleep or travel with the windows open and no one can get into or out of  the van through the windows a good plus for security and child safety,!And beloved pet safety too!

Let us all learn how to use CB radios for if and when the cell phones are disabled the CB (citizens band)will be a Life Line to the outside world.  And this van has a built in  Cobra CB radio. with the original paperwork. As well as a Panasonic AM/FM auto reverse cassette player with original paperwork and a CD player. There is a television that could be hooked up to an antenna, vcr, dvd player or a wired security camera for the outside.
Carpet could use a shampoo and there is a crack in the windshield but the local auto glass guy (Dunn Rite) said he would give a 20% discount to replace the glass.
All of the original paperwork also is included.
The tires are in excellent condition as well as the spare tire which is easily accessed on the back door and covered in an attractive chrome cover.
Brand new alternator has been put in as recent as a week ago.
The heater will keep you warm   but the ac needs a recharge.
It is a high top conversion van so one doesn't feel cramped.Above are two sunroof style windows with removable shades.
It also has alloy wheels and a built in vacuum.
It's a V8 350 engine. One of the headlights has a lamp out as seen in photo that is being corrected now. There are orange fog lights that are besides the built in fog lights within the car body. These were added later and one of them needs fixing. I could remove them altogether or leave them as is.

The driver and passenger windows have rain guards. And there is a bug shield in front.
No rust!

Hmmm..what am I forgetting? if I remember I will add to the listing.
Any and all questions are welcome.
Need to talk? 901-590-8075

Van is sold as is . But! I won't let you drive off in a vehicle that is not sound nor has any hidden defects.

Well for now that is it! God Bless us all.

That time we lapped Indy with Tony Kanaan in a Corvette Z06

Sat, May 23 2015

We're here in Indianapolis, IN, attending this weekend's 99th running of the Indy 500. The big event happens tomorrow, but the city is buzzing today with all sorts of pre-race festivities. For us, that means checking out Indianapolis Motor Speedway a day early, and getting a hot lap around the racetrack in the official Indy 500 pace car – a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Our driver for the occasion is IndyCar racer Tony Kanaan, who won the Indianapolis 500 in 2013. Of course, he'll be competing tomorrow, leaving pace duties to none other than Jeff Gordon. Check out our minute-and-a-half-long lap of the Indy 500 track in the video above, where Kanaan hugs the wall in true race style, getting the Z06 past 150 miles per hour on the back straight. Stay tuned for more Indy 500 coverage later this weekend.

GM under fire from safety advocates over braking problem caused by recall fix

Thu, Feb 6 2020

Safety experts are lambasting General Motors over what they say is the automaker’s slow notification of owners of certain 2019 sedans and trucks that a recall fix could cause power braking to fail and increase the risk of a crash, the Detroit Free Press reports.  GMÂ’s original recall in December targeted about 550,000 Cadillac CT6 sedans and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups, all from the 2019 model year, over potentially defective electronic stability control and antilock brakes. In that case, GM said the errors would not show up as a diagnostic warning on the instrument cluster. But after GM had done recall work on 162,000 vehicles, about 1,700 owner have complained that their power brakes didnÂ’t work after they had the recall done and then used the OnStar app to start their vehicle. GM then issued a supplemental fix for customers whoÂ’d already had their vehicles serviced. In this case, a diagnostic warning should illuminate saying either “Service Brake Assist” or “Service ECS,” which GM says is a signal that a customer should not drive the vehicle and instead call their dealer, which will tow the vehicle and have it repaired. Safety advocates say the automaker hasnÂ’t gone far enough to protect customers. “The fact that you could potentially start a vehicle and not have brakes is a pretty risky proposition,” Sean Kane, president of the Safety Research and Strategies, which works on auto issues for plaintiffs and governmental organizations, told the Freep. “The fact that they wouldnÂ’t notify owners (sooner) is pretty stunning.” GM told the Freep it was required to notify the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and file paperwork before it notified customers about the original recall, which was made Dec. 12. It then had to investigate and resolve the problem created by its original recall fix before alerting customers. GMÂ’s call center and dealers are contacting the remaining 900 customers who havenÂ’t yet had the update made to the original recall repair. GM also hired a vendor to send recall letters to the 550,000 customers affected by the original recall notifying them about the update. There are no known injuries or deaths related to the problem. 2016 Chevrolet Camaro: Everything we know so far [UPDATE]

Fri, May 15 2015

UPDATE: We fully expect the floodgates to open as facts and photos leak throughout the day. Watch this space for more information as it breaks, including these leaked photos, and some new powertrain speculation. Chevrolet has made a grand production of teasing the all-new, sixth-generation Camaro. That slow trickle will become a deluge this weekend, when the 2016 model hits the stage on Detroit's Belle Isle as part of an all-day Camaro-palooza. Considering you're likely to hear plenty about the next-gen muscle car in the next couple days, we figured now is the perfect time to sort out all the facts and rumors we've heard about the next-generation coupe that's coming this weekend. Here's everything we know about Camaro Six. What Will It Look Like? Arguably the easiest Camaro question to answer after all the teasers and spy shots, General Motors' design team favored evolving the current car's retro design language while retaining the same basic shape. The long hood will carry on, joined by an even shorter, wing-topped rear deck, giving the 2016 an almost fastback-like look. The greenhouse is still slim, but lateral visibility may improve slightly owing to the larger quarter windows. We can only hope. The rear end looks to have been rounded, while Chevy's own teaser shows off larger, more prominent taillight housings than the simple rectangular lights on today's car. Expect quad-tipped exhausts to be offered on at least one version of the Camaro. Judging by the single teaser of the car's profile, the rear haunches will be larger and more chiseled. The muscular aluminum hood and its accompanying power bulge are more heavily styled than on today's car, although it looks largely similar in terms of size. It sits atop an even slimmer upper grille that's barely big enough for Chevy's Bowtie logo, with most of the visual mass moving to the gaping lower grille. One of the more tantalizing rumors surrounding the new Camaro focuses on its roof. As evidenced in a rather bizarre round of spy photos, it almost looks like Chevy is considering a removable panel, a la Corvette Stingray. T-tops are also a distinct (and more probable, we hope) possibility. The new shape will result in a more aerodynamic car, and Chevy claims the 2016 Camaro spent 350 hours in the wind tunnel. Overall lift has apparently been cut by 30 percent, thanks partially to a new, smooth underbody panel. Chevrolet has been far less forthcoming with information on the new Camaro's cabin.
