Below are a list of options and details. Any questions please contact me.
This van was bought new buy me in March of 2003. Fully loaded with just about every option, and then some. I am the original and only owner. Driven only by me, not my guys. The oil was changed every 3-5 thousand miles. 90% of oil changes were done by same shop. im almost positive he can print that out for proof. Tranny fluid was replaced twice. (synthetic) Rear fluid replaced twice (synthetic) Motor oil also synthetic. I washed and cleaned this van on a daily basis since new. I received daily compliments on how sharp the van looks. You will not find a better van of the same year and mileage.
This work truck drives down the road very good and is comfortable to drive.
2003 was the year it was redesigned. Previous ones cannot compare to this generation van. If you look up reviews on the 2003 express 3500 you will not be disappointed. its been given close to 5 out of 5 stars. It certainly has the wear and tear of 2003 work vehicle. This van was a hard worker and never let me down. ever! It never left me on the side of the road. None of thewear and tear is out of the ordinary. But if your going to point out every imperfection this van is not for you. goto chevy and buy a new. Dont waste my time. id rather keep it. It was driven up until i got my new truck a year ago. its been sitting since. Except for a little drive every once in a while. I even changed the oil before i stopped driving it. The only reason i stopped driving it is because i bought a new truck. Not because of any issues with the truck. Unfortunatley it doesnt look as good as it did when i drove it everyday. But like i said, for the mileage and amount of work i did out of this truck you will not be dissapointed. But far from perfect.
I replaced alot parts on this van. alot i have reciepts for. And alot of repairs i do not have receipts.
you cant walk out of the dealer with this van for less then $28,000-$30,000.
It has $3,000 in dealer options. Which are:
1. Express Access
2. Express Access plus
3.Locking rear diff. (it is an animal in the snow. you will not get stuck)
3.Captain seats. (drive side has big tear in it where you sit. still comfortable)
4.Vinyl floor in the front.
5. 9,600 gvw
6. Side cargo Doors
7. 373 gears
8. Chrome Accessory package (halogeb head lamps. not the ugly black ones) chrome front and rear grill.
The Express Access is a MANUFACTURE installed option. The side panels of the van open with remote. One of the Best features ever designed on a van if your in the service business. You can access all your stuff from the outside. Contractors use to drull at this option when we were on job. The doors do new shocks. you have to lift them up by hand.
It has the tow Package with hitch. I also recently had someone re wire the trailer wiring with a 7 pin plug. it also had electric brake set up installed. Never used. something was wrong with the brake controller and i just never used. All i towed was a very light 5x9 sometimes.
i had the system one racks installed. Thats about $800.00 new. Yes it has the built in tie down winches. I never had to look for a bungee cord.
This van has brand new 245 75 16 atz all terrain tires. Brand New!! Almost $800.00
I had an alarm put in with remote start. Very nice in the winter months.
Which reminds me, this van has never left the yard without being warmed up since i had the remote start installed. it was installed sometime in 2003.
After marke stero with fosgate amp, 10’ sub and pioneer flip up tv navigation. the whole stereo i think is shot. the radio barely works, so im not sure about the amp and sub. it might or might not work. but it will be in there.
billet grill also installed. with a lund visor and bug shield.
Not that long ago i had the whole exhaust replaced with a original equitment.
In December of 2011 mileage 200000 i had the following work done. I have the reciept. Remember th van is somewhere around 203,000 miles.
fr brake rotors $210.00
front pads and slider hardware $130.00
front springs $600.00
sway bar links $65.00
motor mount $245.00
valve cover gasget $95.00
labor for above work was almost $1,000
Also done in dec 2011 @200,000 miles
tires $760.00
idle speed motor $90.00
labor on idle motor $90.00
sep 10 2011
Radiator $425.00
upper rad hose $59.00
lower rad hose $ 37.00
labor $135.00
3/2011
lower ball joint $190.00
upper ball joint $250.00
pitman arm $197.00
shocks $198.00
labor $595.00
2/2011
water pump $240.00
thermostat housing $43
fan belt $80.00
belt tensioner (ac delco) $100.00
labor $170.00
New exhaust system. Dont remember when, i did it. lost receipt.
but it was a oem rplacement. About a thousand installed
i put a brand new battery in the van today 8/3/2013
van was just inspected in ny.
Im sure there are things i am forgetting.
Its in great shape. Looks very good going down the road and pulling in your customers driveway or on the job site. Not perfect.
It Needs a wind shield because it has a crack across it. your glass insurance should cover it for free. if not, i can have it done through my ins before it goes off the road for the cost of my deductable which you will pay for. but it will be on my time. i would also need a deposit from you if i did that.
The side cargo door hinge needs some attention. the hinges get frozen and become diffucult to open one of the doors. the radio is probably shot. it plays music but didnt hold up well.
There were factory installed lights installed throughout the van. most of them broke from materials. plugs are there. youcan get new lights if you want.
drive seat has a tear.
and there might be one or 2 other very small not important issues. not as important as all the new parts.
i think it needs the neutral safety switch. ill explain.
the lettering also has to come off before the truck leaves the yard. the vinyl should come off no problem with a little heat. i can help with that.
like i said, in this price range, and make and model you will not find a better van with this mileage. the motor sounds like it can go another 100k
any used van can be risky. and any thing can go wrong with a high mileage van. But if this is your budget, this is your work truck. it is ready togo and will pay for itself first week. i would rather this van with 200k miles then a 1500 series or even 3500 series that has not been maintained with 100k miles.
Please be a serious buyer if you inquire. the history of the truck is documented. The price i am asking is $6,500.00 I dont want to stray to far from that number. please no UNREASONABLE OFFERS! I would rather keep it.
I was so happy with this van, i ordered the exact same one factory direct fully loaded. it did not come ontime because of a recall on the pitman arm. so i ended up in a chevy silverado 3500 utility body. I regret not waiting for the van. The van cost me $30,000 just to get it out of the dealer. the new ones upgraded like mine i believe are almost $38,000-$40,000 out the door.
Thank you for looking,

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015
Mon, Jan 5 2015Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.
GM to restore legendary Corvette damaged in sinkhole accident
Fri, Dec 5 2014Car lover's hearts' sank when they saw images of bent and destroyed classic Corvettes at the bottom of a sinkhole last February after the floor of the National Corvette Museum gave way. General Motors announced Wednesday it would restore the one millionth Corvette ever produced to its former glory. The 1992 convertible was heavily damaged when a 40-foot deep sinkhole opened beneath a bevy of rare cars at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Since then, GM has been slowly restoring the classic cars, though five of the eight that caught in the sinkhole were determined to be too damaged to repair. This November, the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil was the first car to be returned in mint condition to the Museum, according to Autoblog. It suffered significant damage but was still drivable after being pulled out of the debris. The one millionth Corvette is still in bad shape. The automaker is estimating six months worth of work to restore the car, which sustained paint scratches, rear-suspension damage and a mangled front fender. Recharge Wrap-up: Lexus CT 200h is NWAPA's favorite hybrid, 'No Charge to Charge' in LA
Thu, Jul 24 2014The Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) has given the Lexus CT 200h its Favorite Hybrid title. It named the compact luxury hybrid its favorite of 2014 at its Drive Revolution in Portland (where it also named the new Volkswagen Golf TDI the Northwest Green Car of the Year). According to NWAPA president Nik Miles, the CT 200h earned the honor for "impressive combination of state-of-the-art small car luxury and hybrid technology." For 2014, the Lexus CT200h got an updated front end, including the spindle grille we've been seeing on new Lexus vehicles, plus a redesigned steering wheel and sliding sun visors. Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet credits the Malibu for helping make stop-start mainstream. Chevrolet started including stop-start technology standard in Malibus equipped with the four-cylinder engine. Chevy has sold about 83,000 of that model, so 97 percent of 2014 and 2015 Malibu sales include stop-start. Now, that technology has made its way into the 2015 Impala. With drivers idling an average of 16 minutes a day, stop-start can significantly reduce harmful emissions and save fuel. According to Navigant Research, we can expect annual sales of cars equipped with stop-start technology to surpass 55 million by 2022. Read more in the press release below. Nissan Leaf customers in Los Angeles will get access to free charging beginning August 15. Nissan is extending its "No Charge to Charge" promotion to LA, which will allow customers to charge at public charging stations at no cost. Leaf customers - including those who bought or leased their car from the participating dealerships on or after July 1 - will get an EZ-Charge card, allowing them to use ChargePoint, Blink, CarCharging, AeroVironment and NRG eVgo chargers for free. Rapid chargers can charge the Leaf's battery to 80 percent in 30 minutes. Nissan plans to offer the "No Charge to Charge" in at least 14 more markets in the US, bringing the total to 25, within the next year. See the press release below for more details. California will get six all-electric school buses for three school districts as part of a demonstration program. The California Energy Commission awarded a grant of $1.4 million for the program to National Strategies LLC; this is in addition to a $2.2-million grant from the South Coast Air Quality Management District. The EV buses use vehicle-to-grid technology, allowing them to sell energy back to the grid when it is needed.
