You are looking at a real matching numbers SS396 El Camino, I would call it a nice unmolested car. One older repaint on body,driver quality paint and body. Still has its points distributor,smog pump and single snorkel air cleaner. I will list all the numbers later in the ad. Factory lemans blue with blue bench seat is nice, you can take a third passenger if you would like.The bench seat has been recovered,new carpet and the headliner is in nice shape. Most of the chrome looks original and has its factory YA code SS wheels with the correct deep center caps. Still has the factory two piece rotors in the front.The factory T3 high beams are present. The original lemans blue paint is still present in the door jams. Floors and boxed frame is real nice , see pictures. The factory AM radio plays, horns work ,speedo works and all lights work. Factory muncie shifter with bench seat shifter handle.Motor and trans have 1,000 miles on them since rebuild (have receipts). New clutch was installed at the same time. The drive train is matching numbers, here is the info.. If you like el caminos and want a real SS396 car this may be for you. It has great colors,4-speed,posi all factory and not messed with like a lot of cars you see that have been drag raced and cut up. This one has been cared for and is not all modified. The bed floor is in very nice shape see pictures, i even took the front bed plate off and took a picture down in there. There is no sign of rot and is all in very good shape. This is a turn key driver that can be driven and enjoyed, body and paint is driver quality. In our exclusive clip, Tom Ford, Antron Brown and William Fichtner run their $7,000 sports cars in a drag race. As expected, the trio chose very different cars for the challenge. Deciding to take all of that work on yourself doesn't make things any easier, but it can only increase your connection to the project. Don Rogers, the subject of the latest video from Petrolicious, shows this passion perfectly with his duo of 1964 Chevrolet Impalas – a hardtop and convertible. Both of these Chevys had been sitting for years before Rogers got his talented hands on them, and he did all of the work himself. Now, driving the pair is therapy for him, and he's not worried about anything breaking because he knows he can put it back together. Rogers says he enjoys wrenching on his vehicles even more than going to shows. Doing your own work comes with advantages, like tailoring a project's look to your preferences. It's not original, but Rogers used the crimson interior color from a '59 Impala on his convertible to make the interior pop with the top down.
