2002 chevrolet corvette z06 with an sts twin turbo kit. the turbos have been upgraded to precision ceramic ball
bearing. has the standard f38mm tial wastegates, and 50mm tial blow off vavle. Upgraded intercooler. The oil return
pumps are new and i upgraded those as well with there twin pump design. they are much quieter than before actually
cant hear them at all. the oil pumps have a pressure saftey buzzer so if one stops working the buzzer goes off. The
engine is a 383 stroker with world product ls1x heads,stock ls6 intake manifold, comp cams solid roller, arp studs
everywhere, callies crankshaft, k1 rods and wiesco pistons, compresion is 9.6. the wheels are ccw 18x10 front and
18x12.5 rear. big brake kit (front) rotora. braided stainless brake lines. crossflow aluminum radiator. mcloed rxt
twin disc clutch. interior is in real nice shape minus a few broken trim pieces as far as heads up bezel, air temp
sensor, and the headliner is missing because it once had a roll cage. the floor was NOT cut for the cage just
headliner. it has the dual gauge pillar with boost and fuel pressure. the paint is a 8 out of 10 with 3 issues as
seen in pics. the wide body kit is from west coast corvette. the car was dynoed and tuned at 360 customs inc in
brandon florida. the car made 653hp at 12psi. THIS CAR RUNS GREAT AND IS A BLAST TO DRIVE. WATCH THE DYNO on

GM patent reveals new two-stage turbocharger

Modern turbochargers may be some of the best ever made, but performance is something that engineers are always trying to improve. According to GM Inside News, General Motors (GM) is hoping to alleviate some of the negative aspects of a two-stage turbocharger setup with a newly-patented design. The patent, that was filed on May 19, 2016, reveals a clever bypass system that allows the engine, a four-cylinder unit, to optimize both the low-pressure and high-pressure inlets for its respective functions. According to the filing, a conventional two-stage turbocharger setup is engineered to allow both turbines to operate simultaneously at low and mid engine speeds. At high engine speeds, only the low-pressure turbine works. The setup can't isolate either the low or high pressure side, which can impair low-end performance. GM's new two-stage turbocharger setup looks to eliminate this by linking the high-pressure turbo to the exhaust manifold through the high-pressure inlet duct. The low-pressure turbo is attached to the high-pressure turbo by a low-pressure inlet duct, which is linked to a connecting channel. A single actuator that is housed in the exhaust manifold creates a bypass that can opens the high-pressure inlet or close the connecting channel. Depending on what the engine load and speed is, the ECU guides the actuator—a single rotating spindle with discs corresponding to flanges on the high and low pressure sides—to isolate one of the two turbos. Isolating the turbos allow the respective inlets to be engineered for the best possible fluid dynamic performance. The setup should increase performance and decrease lag. There's no word on what car this setup will make an appearance on, but it will most likely be used in premium vehicles before trickling down to the rest of GM's vehicles. NHTSA investigates 1.7 million GM SUVs for windshield wiper failures

WASHINGTON - The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday it is investigating whether General Motors should recall an additional 1.7 million sport utility vehicles due to an issue with windshield wiper failures. GM in August 2016 recalled 367,800 2013 GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox SUVs in the United States to address the problem. But after receiving 249 complaints about similar problems, the federal agency said it is probing whether the recall should be expanded to include an additional 1.7 million vehicles from the 2010-2016 model years. The automaker said it is cooperating with the NHTSA review. GM said it recalled the 2013 GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox SUVs "because warranty data showed a higher-than-expected failure rate," adding it has continued to monitor field data on other model years of those vehicles. GM noted that no crashes or injuries related to the issue have been reported. The Detroit-based automaker said the recalls were prompted after a GM Canada brand quality manager reported a potential safety issue relating to reports of windshield wiper failures in Canada through GM's "Speak Up For Safety," program in late 2015. The data showed significantly higher field incidents in parts of Canada, which prompted a June 2016 recall there. Over the next two months, a higher number of U.S. reports prompted a U.S. recall, the company added.
