This is probably the lowest mile 85 Corvette that exists. It was purchased new from the dealership, and was then covered and stored for the past 28 years on stands in a heat controlled building. The back-story is quite interesting but I would prefer to share that off-line. I am a medical doctor by profession but I buy classic cars and restore them as a hobby with a close friend. When I heard about this car I could not pass it up. We bought it this year at an estate auction, and we have kept it in an enclosed trailer. After purchase we went through the car, only the fuel pump was replaced, otherwise the car was in perfect like new condition. It has been driven about once a week. It is incredible. It literally is nearly flawless. The car is literally a time-capsule. We have not even detailed it with any chemicals, the pictures capture the exact condition. It has literally never seen rain.
If you are a collector please feel free schedule with me to see it in person. I am happy to disclose the reserve to serious bidders. I am happy to answer any questions, please feel free to email. Also happy to assist with shipping.
The car is absolutely one of a kind. Original MSO, has never been titled! ALL original documents as new from dealer, lug covers lug lock etc. More pictures available on request. Original plastic on steering wheel from dealer. Dash is perfect.

Opel CEO talks new EV, will likely be fresh face for Chevy, too
Wed, Jul 23 2014The rumored demise of the Opel Ampera has been confirmed, but there's good news, too. Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann has been busy Tweeting information about the brand's next plug-in vehicle, admitting that the Ampera is on the way out but that plug-in vehicles are here to stay. His Tweets, in full, read: After the eventual run-out of the current generation Ampera, we'll introduce a successor product in the electric vehicle segment. Our next electric vehicle will be part of our massive product offensive – with 27 new vehicles in the 2014-2018 time frame. We see eMobility as important part of the mobility of tomorrow and we will continue to drive down costs & deliver affordability. As we learned earlier this week, the Ampera will not be refreshed when the current Chevy Volt is updated, most likely because of slow sales. Opel sold just 332 Amperas in the first five months of 2014. For now, General Motors is still building Amperas in Michigan for export to Europe. So, what might this new EV mean for the General Motors plug-in fleet? Official spokespeople are being quiet, but we think it's safe to say the new EV Neumann is talking about is not simply a rebadged Chevy Spark EV. This is the first official word about an entirely new EV, and we expect it will come to both the Chevrolet and Opel brands.
LG Chem's troubled Chevy Volt battery plant hiring once again
Thu, Sep 25 2014The Michigan battery plant known for paying its workers to do nothing has turned things around and is now hiring more workers, specifically to do something. South Korea-based LG Chem, which runs the factory to supply the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle with its lithium-ion batteries, held a job fair recently to bring on 40 new employees in order to meet higher battery demand, according to WZZM, the ABC affiliate for Grand Rapids, MI. The LG Chem factory is in Holland, MI, about 30 miles west of Grand Rapids, and it made its first batteries last year. Prior to that, though, the factory gained notoriety after a US Department of Energy (DOE) probe found that workers there were getting paid to do, well, nothing. That's because demand for the battery packs was so low that it cost less for the plant to sit idle. The DOE was conducting the probe because of its financial grant to LG Chem. But that was then and today is today. LG Chem is looking to ramp up production in advance of the second-generation Volt. That 2016 model-year version is said to have a longer all-electric range and better performance and will ride on a new chassis, but few official details have surfaced. We will know more when we get our first look at the car at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
