Chevy Chevrolet Colorado Custom Lowrider Crew Cab Pick-up Truck ****nice!!! on 2040-cars
Mays Landing, New Jersey, United States
I am selling my Chevy Colorado Crew Cab. (CUSTOM LOWRIDER) This truck is absolutely priced to sell...!!! I am the original owner of this truck and purchased it Brand New in 2004. It is Factory Green, power windows, locks and custom power mirrors. The truck ONLY has 21,400 Miles on it! I would say easy miles too. The truck is bagged front and back with Chassis Tech equipment. It is dual compressor and dual tank. Has a custom Four Link suspension in the rear. The front has New lowered Upper and Lower control arms. Slotted brake rotors were also installed. I had a custom telescopic driveshaft and drive shaft loop guard made. Its a Crew Cab, so this needed to be done for clearance purposes. The Rear was professionally narrowed with custom axles so the wheels would tuck into the bed. There are 22" inch Wheels in the back and 20" in the front. They are Centerline Forged Rims and low-pro Hancook Ventus Tires. The rims and tires are BRAND NEW and were over $3,500 alone! I installed a fuel cell in the bed. The Tailgate handle was removed and relocated. I installed a low-Pro Belltech Transmission cross-member for added ground clearance. The interior has custom bucket seats. I installed an awesome 2 amp Rockford Fosgate sound system for high and low range. The amps are frenched into the rear seats. The subwoofer enclosure is tucked behind the rear console installed and made of stainless steel. The Optima Battery was relocated to under the back seat for added tire clearance under the hood. There are many, many custom aspects of this vehicle and should really be seen to appreciate. I am only selling this piece to purchase a home. This is a project truck that is about 85% complete but it runs and drives down the road perfectly. I have over $35,000 invested... You wont be dissapointed with this truck. Thanks for looking!! Please ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS. Call or Text for more pictures or questions, my name is Brett...(609) 226-0608...
When I say 85% Complete I mean the following: The new hood and Roll Pan need paint. The new air compressors need to be installed. Please ask questions before bidding. If this truck was 100% my asking price would be much more...I have all wiring and valves for the suspension. There is another Optima Yellow top battery included and the vehicle has been wired for it. The additional battery will help for when the compressors are running. On Mar-26-14 at 12:33:26 PDT, seller added the following information: This truck is absolutely priced to sell and has a low reserve. I have over $35,000 invested. The truck is a project, about 85% complete. |

Ranking full-size pickup trucks by the size of their discounts
Tue, Oct 20 2020Each and every month, full-size pickup trucks dominate the new-car sales reports in America. It's been that way for years — the Ford F-Series has been America's best-selling vehicle for 38 consecutive years — and it's not going to change any time soon. With that in mind, we've compiled this list of discounts on brand-new full-size pickup trucks using data provided by Truecar, including their average retail prices, average transaction prices and discounts in dollars and percentage off list price. We've also created a visualization of the best deals Americans are scoring on the three best-selling models in America. If you're looking for the absolute biggest discount you can find on a new truck, look no further than your nearest Ram dealership, then scour the lot for a leftover 2019 1500 model. Buyers are averaging nearly 13% off the cost of the 2019 Ram, paying an average transaction cost of $41,667. That's $6,071 off the average retail price, which equals the best truck deal in October. The 2020 edition isn't discounted nearly as far, averaging $2,852 off for an average transaction price of $48,904. The next best deal is on the 2019 Ford F-150; its average transaction price of $43,064 equals $3,843 off its sticker price. The 2020 F-150's $2,810 discount means buyers are paying around $47,300. They should know, though, that a brand-new model is coming for 2021, so we'd expect bigger discounts on remaining 2020 inventory in the coming months. Moving to General Motors, the best deal you'll find is on leftover 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500s, which are selling for an average of $47,043. That's $2,852 off the sticker price. Interestingly, 2020 Silverados are seeing slightly lower transaction prices at $46,009, but with a smaller average discount of $1,693. The 2020 GMC Sierra is mechanically similar to the Chevy, but aimed at buyers who want a bit more luxury. That's reflected in the 2020 Sierra 1500's average transaction price of $54,491, which is $2,131 off its sticker. If pickup trucks aren't your thing, take a look at this list of the best new car deals in America based on the percentage discount off their suggested asking prices here. Did the Chevy Corvette Z06 break 7 minutes at the Ring? Not likely
Wed, Jan 28 2015"Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it true." That's rule number one, two and arguably, three, of surfing the world wide web. In today's example of this rule, we have the following. The website HorsepowerKings is claiming that a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, with the eight-speed automatic and Z07 package, managed to lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in under seven minutes. To put that in perspective, that super-quick time would put the 650-horsepower, $97,000 (the price of a 2LZ with the Z07/8AT combo) Z06 a mere two seconds slower around the world's most challenging race track than the $929,000, 887-horsepower Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach. It's about eight seconds quicker than Nissan's own test of the GT-R Nismo Track Pack and 13 seconds faster than a Dodge Viper ACR. Unfortunately, Chevy says there isn't anything to it. We reached out to the Bowtie's Monte Doran, who confirmed that HK's claims are "not accurate." "Any one – a manufacturer, a journalist, a guy standing on the fence of the Ring – can claim a lap time. As such, we think the in-car video is essential to proving a time is real and credible, and Chevrolet will not release a lap until we have a video to substantiate the claim," Doran told Autoblog. "Chevrolet accumulated nearly 1,000 miles of testing on the Nurburgring with the Z06. During that time, we only had two opportunities to run a lap on video – and both were rained out. If we get a lap on video, we will post an official time." Doran finished by referencing the "only official lap time" for the Z06 – a 2:41 around the Virginia International Raceway. Frankly, we aren't terribly surprised by Chevy's position. One would imagine if the Z06 were matching million-dollar hypercars around the 'Ring, the company would literally be screaming about it from Renaissance Center's rooftop. As this is quite the opposite of that, though, we're betting that the real Z06 lap time - while still likely very, very fast – won't be quite quick enough to frighten the brightest and best of today's hypercars.
Nissan Leaf has outsold Chevy Volt by 50% so far in 2015
Tue, Sep 1 2015We know, we know. The Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf sales numbers for mid- to late-2015 aren't all that meaningful because of the impending arrival of the next-gen Volt and the expected but not-yet-totally-confirmed debut of the second version of the Leaf. Nonetheless, tracking the sales of the first two major plug-in vehicles is something that remains interesting to us, if for nothing else that the all-electric Leaf remains slightly more popular than the plug-in hybrid Volt after all this time. If we just look at August, the numbers were basically tied in the US. Chevy sold 1,380 Volts while Nissan moved 1,393 Leafs. But when we take a 10,000-foot view, the differences starts to appear. So far in 2015, GM has sold 8,315 Chevy Volts while Nissan has sold 12,383 Leafs. That means that the Nissan has outsold the Chevy by around 50 percent (to be specific, it's 48.92 percent). Since the two vehicles went on sale in the US at roughly the same time at the end of 2010, 81,672 Volts have been sold, compared to 84,705 Leafs. That's a difference of only 3,033 vehicles, so proponents of both powertrains can hold their heads high. Looking just at last month, Volt sales were 45 percent lower compared to August 2014. So far this year, Volt sales are down 36.7 percent. The Leaf didn't fare any better. Month-to-month, Leaf sales were down 43.7 percent in August, while year-to-date, Leaf sales are down 65.3 percent. Those second-gen models can't come soon enough. As always, we'll have our broader wrap-up of monthly green car sales for August up soon. Stay tuned. Green Chevrolet Nissan Electric Hybrid ev sales
