1996 K1500 with a 6in suspension lift and 2in body lift. flow master exhaust custom front end with after market lights and grill. stereo system with amp running all speakers. comes with brand new 35in toyo tires on new 18in fuel wheels with warranty with 99% tread. truck has vortec v8 with automatic transmission runs and drives great. the interior is in great shape besides tear on inside of drivers seat. this is the nicest Chevy you will find for the price. It has a custom rear drive line. When I bought the truck the previous owner told me the transmission and motor were both rebuilt but I have proof of the work. The truck runs and drives great it has 150k miles and has been treated great. There is no dents on the truck at all just a couple very small dings. The interior is very clean besides the rip on the edge of the drivers side of the seat. The only issue the truck has is the heater control just broke so its stuck on defrost (but still turns off) the part to fix it is about 90$ and the paint is wore off on the shocks the shocks ride great but the paint is wore off them. This is a one of a kind truck and has been treated like a princess. Truck leaks absolutely no fluid, has no smoke, no funny noises runs absolutely great! If you have any questions please message me. a 500$ deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end through paypal. The remaining amount of money is due in person at my local bank. If you need the truck shipped I am willing to work with the buyer to set up shipping and if paid with a cashiers check the truck will not leave my possession until the check clears.

China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division
Wed, Jan 7 2015An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. And it gets worse, so head over to Daily Kanban to read the rest of the story.

Fri, Jul 21 2023In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor John Beltz Snyder. After some banter, including the discussion of an excellent tomato sauce recipe, they get into car reviews. Greg has been driving the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53, while John has been testing the BMW M4 CSL and Buick's new Envista crossover. There's lots of interesting news this week. Chevy revealed the 2024 Traverse with new looks, a new engine and on off-road(ish) trim. Hyundai gave us a glimpse at the wild styling of the next Santa Fe. Dodge might bring back the Stealth nameplate as an SUV, and that has implications for the Durango as well. Ford, after repeatedly raising prices, has turned around and significantly discounted the F-150 Lightning across all trims. The first Tesla Cybertruck has rolled off the line as a pre-production prototype. Finally, we reach in to the mailbag and help a listener decide what to do with cars for himself and his kids in this week's Spend My Money segment. Just the right Camaro can change your life
Thu, Jan 22 2015Not many people can say that their car directly motivated them into a career, but that's exactly the case for Adam Martin and his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro that he calls Lucy. Martin bought the pony car in primer when he was just 16, and it helped foster his profession in restoring classic cars. Beyond just being a very cool ride for a teenager, every change to Lucy was an opportunity to hone a new automotive skill for Martin. Whether figuring out how to paint a car or building the 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) big block V8, the Camaro offered a platform for experimentation. This latest episode of Petrolicious gets personal about the bond between man and machine for this 18-year ongoing project. And even if the story doesn't immediately grab you, Lucy has a great voice and can do a mean burnout.
