1972 Chevelle. Runs, shifts and drives wonderfully. I sometimes drive it for weeks at a time. Engine was rebuilt about 3 years ago by a professional shop but I can't find the paperwork so take that for what it is. When you hear it run, you will know the engine is tight. Started every time for me. I put on brand new front disc brakes about a year ago. Centerline wheels that sit perfectly for this year of Chevelle. Back tires are 295 50 15s and fit. The tires arent perfect but they hold air and will get you where you want to go for a while. Trunk and hood were also replaced recently with new ones. I painted them rust colored primer to better fit the color of the car.

I am including the parts I purchased to fix the trunk and package tray area. Also included is a brand new front bumper, Lower quarter patches and seat belts. If you can do minor body work, you can have this looking fantastic in a couple weekends. I just could not get the time with too many projects. I've been trying to buy a house and now find myself needing more money to make it happen. I hate to sell it but I have to in order to get my house.

Please look at all the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. I am starting the reserve low because I need it to sell but I would appraise it at around 6k given what other similar 1972 Chevelles are going for these days. I am hoping it gets in that range but the high bidder will win the car.

As I stated, car runs great so if you want to come drive it home, great. You want me to help load it on a trailer to have it delivered? No problem.

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere

Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face.
