First let me state Iam listing for a friend and the following is his description and we will respond to any questions promptly.

1967 Chevelle (136) S.S. Tribute
The '67 Chevelle was my high school 'dream car' back in the last century (well...we won't get into that)
and I finally had the opportunity to get this one in 1989 with 57,789 miles on odometer (although I
believe it was probably 157,789) and after 25 years of ownership it finally has a clear title now.
I originally bought this one with plans to restore I back as an original Malibu, but but I decided to 'clone' the car instead.  Against some pressure to paint the car 'resale red', I
opted to restore it back to original Metallic Aquamarine color(k-k paint code).

This car has the same wheels, motor & transmission as when I purchased the car (they are the correct year, but I cannot document them as original).

It had a complete Frame-off restoration in 2007 (including the motor & transmission) from a well-
established local auto specialty drag-racing and restoration shop and has less than 3,000 miles it
since it was restored.  Receipts and supporting documentation /digital photos taken during the restore
process will go with the vehicle if you want them.

There is VERY little bondo in this car (i would estimate less than 1/4 pint)! Where rust was present and there was very little; the area was cut out and welded or replaced with new steel.  I made nearly daily visits during the 9 month process and I fell this restoration was done right.  I go to church with the owner and have known him for years and since a restoration basically requires an open checkbook; he was the only one I would trust to do the job.

This car has the following and more:
327/325 H.P. bored out .030"
2 speed Power glide
Holley 750 dual line carb setting on top of an Edelbrock performer a aluminum high rise intake
Factory A/C
Factory Power steering
Factory Power Brakes
Bucket seats
Console with clock
Tinted windshield
Powder coated 15 x 8 Rally wheels
Ceramic coated 'Headman'Headers
Roller Rockers
2.5" dual exhaust
Factory radio located in dash (it is not connected so I cannot guarantee it works)...HOWEVER, there is also a hidden Alpine CDA-9856 receiver with CD/MP3, HD Radio, Sat radio & IPOD capability (with owner's manual) pushed by Patriot Rt-435 Amplifier

Truck bed 'Rhino Liner' on frame, underside of body, on top of floor pans(under dampening insulation)

This car runs very strong and handles like a dream and I enjoy watching people's heads turn when I take it out for a ride, but unfortunately my lifestyle does not allow me the opportunity to drive this car as much as I would like to.  I have taken it to a few charity cruise-ins, but i'm not really into the cruise-in scene so I've decided to allow someone else the opportunity to own this piece of American history and hopefully you will enjoy this car as much as I have.

On May-27-14 at 05:44:43 PDT, seller added the following information:

The car appears to have a little more of a green tint in the pictures than in person, The color is the original and probably somewhat rare and makes the car stand out in a crowd!

Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

Watch a camo'ed next-gen Chevy Volt go ice driving

Tue, Dec 23 2014

Teasers for the 2016 Chevy Volt continue, The Bowtie showing us in this latest outing how its range-extended hybrid dances on ice and snow. It will only take 42 seconds of your life so don't expect an Arctic challenge, but if you in the snow regions had any doubts about how it will handle the frozen goods, this should help assuage them. The bigger and better, more powerful and faster Volt - able to run regular fuel - will get out from under its camo at the North American International Auto Show next month. For now, enjoy the way it moves its hips in the video above. News Source: Chevrolet via YouTube, Facebook Detroit Auto Show Chevrolet Videos
