Super Charged Special Edition Syngergy Green 2010 Camaro Mint Cond Tons Of Extra on 2040-cars

Up for sale is my 2010 Synergy Green 2010 Camaro. I fell in love with this model because of the color. After purchasing it I wanted it to look exactly like the same car Chevy showed at the 2009 SEMA.
Here is a list of what I have added to the car and the price. * Rear High Wing, in Grey. Matches the hood stripes. $600 installed *Splash Guards, Had to get them painted to match. $400 installed *Custom Black Accent stripe. $100 installed *Chevy After Market 21" Wheels.. These were not cheap! Wheels and tires were roughly $4000 * Oracle headlights with the back lit chevy emblem. $1400 installed *Custom Leather Seats $1000 installed *Tinted Windows $200 installed * Headers $1000 installed *Magna flow Exhaust $500 I think installed *Custom Weather Tech Floor Mats $500 *IPF Super Charger $7000 installed Pushed the car to around 470HP and 333torque I have video of this car on you tube. Simply search for Super Charged Synergy Green Camaro and it should come up. I have taken it to the drag strip only once and got a time of 11.85 in the 1/4 , Keep in mind that I had the 21s on it and they are not drag tires by any means. At the strip the car wouldn't catch traction until it hit 40. I have no doubt with a different set of wheels and tires the car would be much faster. Overall I have been very easy on the car living in Myrtle Beach SC, There are not very many streets with all the traffic to open it up or play around with it so I do regret the Super Charger. I want to get rid of it because I simply want a change in vehicles and I will not accept the Kelly Blue book Value since I have done so much to the car and it is in beyond excellent shape. I also don't expect to get all my money back out of it that I have put into it. In total well over $40k in this car. Chevy no longer makes this color and in some areas of the country it is very rare. Unfortently it is not a rare color in my area however it is the most unique looking Camaro around and still turns heads! I do not have the factory wheels or tires and when the supercharger was put on a few items had to come out such as the stock belt and widow washer reservoir. I don't have these items either. The car runs perfect and was tuned at a place called Show Zone near Charleston SC. I've change the oil at 50% usage every time. I am the only owner and have title in hand. Message me if you have any questions. |

Why an independent rear suspension for GM's new, full-sized SUVs wasn't easy
Mon, Dec 23 2019A Motor Trend report last month laid out how Cadillac's 4.2-lier twin-turbo Blackwing V8 could be an orphan due to cost concerns in the GM empire. Last-minute chassis changes to Cadillac's new sedans and XT6 crossover led to engine bays that couldn't fit the Blackwing. On the SUV side, according to the report, the new independent rear suspension for big people haulers cost so much to implement that GM ruled out reworking the Escalade to accept the Blackwing. At least one commenter rightly asked how could a suspension swallow that much money. A new piece in Motor Trend has the answer. The excellent Alissa Priddle spoke to Tim Herrick, GM's executive chief engineer for full-size trucks, about why the clean-sheet IRS cost "multimillions of dollars."Â First, GM would need to build a new body shop at the Arlington, Texas plant that assembles the automaker's big SUVs to stamp the numerous wholly new parts and panels accommodating an IRS. Then GM would need to design and pay for a new assembly process. On top of those up-front costs, there was the incremental cost of the four-link IRS components being more expensive than those in the trucks' former leaf-sprung solid axles. Herrick endured so many rejections for so long that he remembers the date and time when he got approval for the new unit. He said it came down to a meeting where he told a higher-up, "I'll make you a deal: If we get to the reveal, or if we launch this and you think this was a dumb idea, I'll hand you my badge and let you walk me out." Head to Motor Trend to read the full story. Based on Herrick being on stage to help present the new SUVs to the press, and on our First Ride in the new Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban at GM's Milford Proving Grounds, it appears this will have a happy ending for all involved. Furthermore, since Herrick worked on the T1 platform that supports the big SUVs as well as the light- and heavy-duty pickups, he understood the demands on the commercial side, too. That could be why when Roadshow asked Tim Asoklis, chief engineer of the Tahoe and Suburban, if the new IRS could endure life in the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, Asoklis answered, "Oh, absolutely." 2015 Chevy Tahoe gets Police Patrol Vehicle treatment
Thu, 07 Nov 2013That was fast. Mere days after showing a Police Concept based on the 2015 Tahoe at the SEMA Show, Chevrolet has announced that it will build a PPV model based on the SUV to do battle with the Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer) and Dodge Durango Special Service.
You'll recall that the Tahoe has been police staple for several years, predating both the Explorer and Durango police variants, so the fact that the new model would spawn a police variant is hardly surprising. Like the civilian model, the 2015 PPV benefits from a more efficient 5.3-liter, direct-injection V8 that pumps out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. It also features more high-strength steel, offering better crash protection, on top of optional safety items like lane departure warning, forward collision alert and a Safety Alert Seat.
The press release is rather light on police-specific items, aside from the auxiliary battery, which keeps the myriad of electronics in a modern police car running even when the engine isn't. Lightbars, 17-inch steel wheels on Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires and a push bar round out the mods for the Tahoe PPV. The cabin features a revised center console and room for laptop and other equipment mounts.
