This car was ordered and never sat on a dealers lot. It was backed off the carrier , the chevy tech did a predelivery inspection and it was taken home and washed once and has never been wet again. Never sat out overnight and never driven in bad weather. Has been garaged and covered and when it was driven it was dusted with a california duster before being covered. There are absolutely no dents, dings, scratches etc. Never damaged or had any paint work. I'm a retired chevy service manager and I'm very picky about my vehicles. I have changed a few things on the car but all can be changed back in a weekend and you would never know anything was done. 1st I removed the pace car decals from the doors to clean the looks up a little but I bought new graphics from G.M. for $385 and I have them in a sealed (air tight) package in my closet. I removed the polished wheels and have them boxed in the garage and I bought a set of new car take offs and had them powder coated in chevy competition gray with 40% clearcoat. (not flat but not shiney). I removed the bowties from the grill and taillight area and have them boxed. I bought a new rear diffuser and had it painted white to match the car and kept the original black one. I added Hotchkis springs which lowered the car 1 inch. I have the original springs boxed. The car handles and rides better with the Hotchkis springs than it originally did. I also added the headlight covers which give it a retro look in my opinion.I replaced the original mufflers with magnaflow but i kept the originals. The floor mats have always been covered in plastic. It has been serviced twice with Mobil One and a delco filter.  I have all the original paper work etc that came with the car except the plastic that covered the seats and steering wheel. The tech discarded them before I realized they were gone. Most of  these cars sold for $5000 over list price when new so this one is reasonably priced if you want a camaro convertible. We bought this car as a second car for my wife but she never drives it and I could use the extra space. any questions 270 244 0532. Thanks for looking.

So, how do you actually pronounce that automaker's name?

Thu, Jan 21 2016

You probably have that friend who always says Porsche wrong, or maybe it's someone who keeps reminding you it's actually two syllables. Whichever side of the pronunciation debate you fall on, you'll find someone to root for in the video above. And before you ask, this was all the video team's idea. So don't get mad at me for being the voice of reason. BMW Chevrolet Hyundai Nissan Rolls-Royce Videos Original Video nissan qashqai

Chevy trademark for E-Ray may signal Corvette hybrid or EV

Mon, Dec 21 2015

A spy photographer and friend of Autoblog Chris Doane spotted this trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and there's not much to it: Chevy is calling dibs on the "Corvette E-Ray" name, and that raises more questions than answers. Being obsessed with this industry is an Autoblog core value, and Corvette is perennially a big deal. It's also historically, and famously, resistant to change. So what's going on here? Unless it's a pure show car, it's unlikely the E-Ray will be a C7-based hybrid. The current Corvette is a tightly-packaged thing, and batteries are bulky. That makes a concept of some sort all the more likely, especially with the Detroit Auto Show coming up. Unconstrained by the packaging of the real-world Stingray, this E-Ray concept may be a pure EV, or a hybrid, of any configuration. GM has built mid-engined Corvette concept cars in the past, and maybe we'll see one again in a few weeks. A gutted C7 with a pure EV drivetrain is also a remote possibility, although less likely – the Stingray wasn't engineered with that in mind, and we think GM's too big to show off a hack-job at a major auto show. Not that it is a Corvette competitor, but don't forget that the Tesla Model S P85D and it's P90D successor have taken pure EV performance into the mainstream – the upper end of the mainstream, to be sure. It has been enough to draw industry performance players into the genre. Look at Aston Martin's production-possible RapidE concept, a pure EV, and the confirmed-for-production Porsche Mission E. We've heard rumblings in the past that Corvette may become a marque unto itself, spawning a variety of variants (including the hypothesized mid-engined production car – don't hold your breath). Perhaps the gas-powered C8, in whatever form it takes, will be complemented with a greener version. We'll try to dig up insider information about what the E-Ray will reveal itself to be, but rest assured that if it shows up at Detroit we'll bring you analysis of every inch of it.Related Video: Featured Gallery 2016 Chevy Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition View 9 Photos Tip: Chris Doane/Facebook Green Rumormill Detroit Auto Show Chevrolet Electric Future Vehicles Hybrid Performance corvette stingray

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
