For Sale

My 1999 Z-28 Camaro , Signed by the Legend #3 Dale Earnhardt Sr, The Intimadator! Dale signed the passenger dashboard and the Owners manual.
at a Grand opening for a dealership in Portland Oregon, when the Camaro was New in 1999.
I have a Letter of authenticity from the Top salesman at Carr Chevrolet for over 25 yrs at the Dealership and is still employed there and who was there that day and who witnessed the signing of my Camaro.
I'm the 4th owner of the Camaro, I did a Carfax before buying the Camaro when it had just over 57,500 miles, and there were No Accidents on the Carfax and None since I have owned the Camaro, i purchased the Camaro in 2008.
The Camaro now has just under  69,700 miles on it now,as far as I'm told this is Original mileage, And judging by the condition of the Camaro consider it to be right.

When I purchased the Camaro the previous owner said the Camaro was All original except for a few very minor up grades.

Camaro has never been Smoked in as long as I've owned it, but I do not now if it was Smoked in before I purchased the Camaro., It doesn't look like it was Smoked in before, but I'm not certain.
Camaro Has the following options(I hope to give as best details as possible) Camaro is mostly original with a few up grades from stock

LS-1 Engine with SLP Airbox and K+N filter

6 speed standard transmission with SLP short throw shifter ,I recently replaced the clutch with and New CenterForce Dual-friction clutch and pressure plate and new GM Throwout Bearing

Camaro has 4 wheel disc brakes, posi-trac rearend with 3.42 gears (I was told by previous owner) it has the Factory GM performance suspension package, with heavy duty swaybars and performance shocks

Camaro has 17x9 Corvette painted aluminum rims (same as SS Rims) with recent New BFG G-Force Z-rated radial tires, 255/45/17's on the front and 285/40/17's on the rear, rims are in nice shape ,1 has a little bit of curb scuff , very minor , others are good shape. with factory space saver spare in back as well as factory jack and tire iron.

Camaro is a Z-28 model it has the optional ground effects kit on it,  I installed a Factory 1999 SS Camaro hood on it, I liked the look better!
Stock flat hood goes with the Camaro with the sale., No other modifications to the body of the Camaro.
The Red Paint on the Camaro is original, at least that was what I was told when I bought it, Paint is in good shape, it shines up real nice,
a few little rock chips and  some minor scuffs on the very bottom of the ground effects, very minor but they are there, No cracks in the ground effects, Basicily the Camaro's body and paint are in very nice shape and Camaro shows very nice,
doors and hood and hatch, open and close as they should, everything lines up as it should also.

Camaro has a Flowmaster muffler system from the Catback with the stock Z-28 tips, Nice sound ,but not to loud.

The Gray leather bucket seats are in very good shape, drivers seat has a bit of wear from getting in and out, but again its not awful, but i have driven the Camaro so its got a bit of minor wear on it, passenger seat is in great shape, rear seats are also in great shape, original carpet is in good shape with i little tear in it under the floor mat from the heal of my foot I guess near the gas pedal, Camaro has a Alpine CD player in it with a 12 stacker mounted in the rear area of the cargo area on the side out of the way.

T-roofs are in great shape, seals are good, I have never had a leak from them when I have been in the rain, which is not very often., windshield is good , No chips or bruises, side windows are Tinted ,but in good condition, rear hatch is tinted and glass is great shape

Camaro has Power/steering and brakes P/windows, P/locks,tilt steering,,P/drivers seat,A/c blows Cold,

If there's any other info you would like just ask, I have lots of pictures' and I can take pictures of anything you would like to see.

I hate to sell this One of a Kind Collector's item , but I must part with it,

I don't know how many people can say they own a Car signed by The Intimadator Dale Earnhardt Sr!!? , But Here's Your Chance to Own one of one!

I'm a Huge #3 Fan and I want it to go to another Dale Earnhardt Sr fan who will enjoy driving and showing it off as I did!

The Camaro Runs and drives Great, Very Fast! Handles like its a racecar!   And it gets 30 mpg on the freeway at 70 mph in 6th gear!

Payment of $500 to be paid by successful bidder within 48 hours of  closing auction on the Camaro    PayPal or  Cash transfer to me

GM says EVs are the future — but trucks are going to take it there

Fri, Jan 11 2019

In the PowerPoint deck for the General Motors Capital Markets Day presentation, one of the more disturbing things comes early on, during GM President Mark Reuss' initial remarks, in an area where he is discussing the company's overall strength in trucks. The point being made is that GM has a truck for all and sundry. And there it is, a phrase on a slide that should send chills up the spines of those who still pine for the old Bob Seger "Like a Rock" Silverado ads: "Little bit country. Little bit rock 'n' roll." That's right. Donny and Marie. Somehow the Denis Leary snark in the F-150 ads is all the more appealing. The Capital Markets Day presentation was chock full of observations about electrification and automation (Reuss and CEO Mary Barra both noted that the corporation's vision is one of "Zero Crashes. Zero Emissions. Zero Congestion." Dan Ammann talked about the progress being made at Cruise Automation; Reuss rolled out the plan for an array of electrified vehicles, with a luxury EV and a compact SUV being the "Centroid Entries" for the modular bases of many others). But it is worth noting that there is no getting away from the power of pickups in the U.S. market, as that was the central topic in Chief Financial Officer Dhivya Suryadevara's comments, with "Truck Franchise" being flanked by "Key Financial Priorities" and "Financial Outlook." Clearly, to gloss the old phrase, the truck segment is where the money is. Suryadevra enumerated how the truck segment is significantly different than other types of light vehicles. Among her points: GM, Ford and FCA have more than 90% of market share. The truck parc has been growing and aging over the past 10 years. Customers are fiercely loyal to the segment—as in 70% of truck buyers are truck buyers. A good number of the vehicles are for commercial use (40 percent). Trucks are "less prone to. . .mobility disruption." Trucks offer high margins. Translaton: The segment is one that they're solidly positioned in. There are lots of old trucks on the road that will need to be replaced by new ones. Perhaps buyers may switch from a Sierra to a Canyon, but it will be a truck. If your livelihood depends on that type of vehicle, even if gas prices go up or the economy begins to go south, you're going to stick with it. Most of the country isn't San Francisco, so trucks will continue to be essential. And, well, they're profitable in the extreme.

GM files for Z71 Trail Boss trademark

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Try as they might to keep their plans a secret, automakers have their hands tipped through a variety of methods – be they through loose lips, spy shots or patent and trademark applications. That's how we know, in this instance, that General Motors is working on (or at least considering) an off-road machine wearing the name Z71 Trail Boss – the name which our compatriots at AutoGuide.com tell us that GM has registered for use on light-duty trucks. Now if that alphanumeric designator sounds familiar, it should. GM has long used it to designate the off-road packages on many of its body-on-frame trucks from Chevy and GMC. These days you can order a Z71 package on the Chevy Colorado, Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban and on the GMC Canyon, Sierra and Yukon. The package typically includes components like a beefed-up suspension bits, high-capacity air cleaner and underbody protection plates. The Trail Boss designator would seem to suggest something further reaching than a suspension package, though. Just what it would entail we don't know; minds immediately start running toward Chevy or GMC going after the Ford F-150 Raptor, but we'll likely be looking at something closer to the Trailhawk packages Jeep offers on the likes of the Renegade and Cherokee.
