the car was redone from the brakes up with new parts or rebuilt parts i am going to add as many pic of it as i can for you to look it over as i was told by many this car is a head turner every time i take it on a drive every one likes it when i drive it and when i get gas in it i all ways have some one come up to see it and talk about it so a gas stop turns into a 20 min thing me and my boy worked on this car and we redid it this is not a show room car it is a driving car but if it had a better paint job on it and a few other things fixed the car would be a show car this car sits more then it is driven so it is time to let it go for others to have fun with it and drive it.  the car did have a 305 tpi motor in it but i put a 350 in it the motor is bored over 30 and has vortec heads on it with a high flow intake and a 600 carb on it  there is all new heater hose and heater core and new brakes on her with new head lights wiper blades radio is a jvc blue tooth set up with 2000 watt subs and amp in the back i love this car but i just dont have time for it and i dont want my boy to have it for his 1st car it has to much power for a new driver so this is the only reason i am getting rid of it.  now i will tell you about what it needs   the front seats are ripped from sliding in and out of it  the t-tops have some scratches in them from being taken of and so on  the fuse cove under the dash keeps falling of it it not broke it just bugs me it keeps falling of  the one door has rust on the inside corner of it not to bad and you cant see it till you open the door and look at the corner of it inside the paint is good but has some marks in it  the seat belts are faded some and the trany cable bracket needs fixed on the trany 2 bolts to take it of and to put a new one on  not a big deal but the way it is it wont go into park do to it being bent or some thing i can get it fixed if the buyer wants me to but i will add it to the final price of the car or they can fix it  but from the top of my head that is all it needs  now the good
it has new shorty headers and is new from them back with magnaflow exhaust and a new high flow cat on it  new rotors and brakes all away around new shocks and struts new head lights wipers the power windows work fine and the power locks work good the pull down motor for the hatch works good it has the t-top bad and the sun shade in the hatch to cover stuff up if you dont want it seen it has a new battery in it with a new 100 amp alt for the radio to work right with out having your head lights dim in and out when you are jamming out but pleas feel free to ask me any thing on the car i will get back to you and if you want to see a pic of some thing i did not post i will send them to you

this car is being sold as is!!!!!!!  it is 27 years old so there is no warranty on the car at all  so bid what you want to pay for her but i think you will be very happy with the car as i am with it thanks for looking and good luck

update i listed this car as not a thing wrong with the drive train in it and there was not till i just drove it but better to happen now then it happening after it sold so so i am leting every one know i took it out today to run it to make shore it was all good and 20 miles down the road i lost 3rd and 4th gear in it so i am repiceing it at a lower price on do to the trany lost 3rd and 4th gear in it .                                  if you want to ask me any thing pleas do so thanks for looking

Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506

Thu, 02 May 2013

With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.

No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan

Sat, Jul 22 2017

Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. 2021 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra fuel economy to go down due to global chip shortage

Mon, Mar 15 2021

Production of the 2021 Chevy Silverado and 2021 GMC Sierra is continuing, but the global semiconductor chip shortage is resulting in a mid-year change. Or rather, an omission.  Basically, the availability of cylinder deactivation for the 5.3-liter V8 will be significantly reduced, resulting in a reduction of 1 mpg combined for affected models. This applies whether that engine has the six- or eight-speed automatic, as well as to both the regular Active Fuel Management and the more advanced Dynamic Fuel Management cylinder deactivation systems. DFM does remain with the pairing of 5.3-liter V8 and 10-speed automatic that comes standard on the LT Trail Boss and High Country. "Due to the micro controller shortage, the components that control AFM/DFM in the engine control module (ECM) have been removed," GM spokesperson Michelle Malcho told Autoblog. She also indicated that the engines will still have the AFM/DFM hardware in place, but that GM will not allow activation of the systems in the future with an ECM change.  Malcho also confirmed to Autoblog that the Silverado and Sierra's other engines will continue to have AFM and DFM, including the 2.7-liter turbo inline-four, 4.3-liter V6 and 6.2-liter V8. In an earlier statement to Reuters, she declined to say the volume of vehicles affected. "By taking this measure, we are better able to meet the strong customer and dealer demand for our full-size trucks as the industry continues to rebound and strengthen," Malcho wrote Reuters in an email. The change runs through the 2021 model year, she said. Malcho told Reuters it would not have a major impact on the Detroit automaker's U.S. corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) numbers. "We routinely monitor our fleet for compliance in the U.S. and Canada, and we balance our portfolio in a way that enables us to manage unforeseeable circumstances like this without compromising our overall (greenhouse gas) and fuel economy compliance," she said. GM's fleetwide fuel economy in the 2018 model year was 22.5 miles per gallon and was projected to rise to 22.8 mpg for 2019, according to a report by the Environmental Protection Agency. To meet federal CAFE requirements, automakers like GM often use credits from either earlier years where they faced less stringent rules and performed better than the requirements or buy credits from other automakers. GM said last month the chip shortage could shave up to $2 billion from this year's earnings.
