Up for auction is my 1967 Chevy Camaro RS. It is a true RS numbers matching 327 2 barrel with 210 horsepower all original motor including Air Cleaner. It has the original 2 speed powerglide. It runs perfect and goes down the road great at 65mph. It does have the drum brakes all the way around it. Heat works great. Gas gauge and all other gauges work as they are supposed to. The speedometer works up to about 35 then it stays about there till you slow down again. Even the cigarette lighter works as I use my GPS for the speedometer. Radio does not work and no speakers in the original back tray. This car was optioned with speakers in the rear package tray.  The windows all go up and down but a couple windows might need adjusted as one is hard to crank up and down and one you have to move the window to work properly. But they do all work. This car appears to be all original with the exception of a repaint that was done in the late 80's early 90's. The quarters were replaced then and done perfectly. You cannot tell at all unless you look up in the trunk. All the door jambs look perfect and are in great shape. The body is straight as an arrow and very solid. Its painted the original Ermine White. The paint has a few small nicks but shows great. For a 25 year old repaint it's in remarkably great condition but the paint job is 25 plus years old. No rust or bubbles at all. Interior is all original and in great shape for it's age. Weather stripping is showing its age. Even the original radio is still in there. It has new tires. The rims are in great shape and installed when repainted 25 years ago.  But In My opinion they need replaced as they did not come on this car new. One of the headlights do not open when the headlights are turned on. All the Chrome and moldings are original and in great shape. I have the original owners guide and Protect-o-plate that came with the car. It was sold new in Richmond Virginia at Emrick Chevrolet  on 12/29/1966 by Salesman Marvin Higgens. The car remained in Virginia till at least 1980 as I have the Virginia inspection Certification and at that time the car had 66415 miles on it. The car enventually made its way to Ohio. The underside is in very good original condition. The exhaust is getting old as it was installed in July of 1992 in New Philadelphia Ohio. The car came out of a long time collection of an elderly gentleman that passed on last year. These cars do not come by that often in great original condition. I do not want to sell but I'm opening another business and need the money. Starting at No Reserve with a $200 opening bid as I'm sure this car will attract a lot of attention and bids. I will not end the auction early. If you want the car you have to bid.

This Camaro was built Nov 1966 In Norwood Ohio per cowl tag

If you look at my feedback I have sold a lot of higher priced collector cars over the years and have 100% feedback. I have described this car 100% to the best of my ability and I'm sure the buyer will be very pleased. I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days. The Camaro can be stored for a bit before pickup if you need me to. Sold As-Is!! They say a picture speaks a 1000 words so I got 24000 words for you. Zoom in look at all the pictures. No secrets car is as described. But pictures speak louder than words..

Good Luck and Happy bidding!!!

Chevy dials up the razzle dazzle for Special Ops concept

Wed, Nov 4 2015

Inspired by naval camouflage schemes used during the First World War, Chevy created the 2016 Silverado Special Ops concept, which is on display this week at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Based on the 1500 Z71, this Silverado wears a three-tone paint job that mixes different shades of blue, which Chevy says gives the concept visual depth. The appearance is a riff on early 20th Century color configurations used by the US and British navies. Called razzle dazzle, the look is meant to disguise ships' size, speed, and direction. On the Silverado, it simply adds character and gives the truck a more military bearing. The concept also gets flared wheel arches, a sport bar in the bed with LED lights, and a utility storage system. The grille is fitted with black accents and has a thin LED strip running across the top. Inside, orange is used for the door pulls and glove box handle, and the instrument panel and arm rests have more dazzle coloring. The truck also gets an upgraded exhaust kit, six-piston brakes, and a performance air intake. Chevrolet Introduces Silverado Special Ops Concept Military-inspired truck reinforces capability with go-anywhere style LAS VEGAS – Chevrolet's 2016 Silverado Special Ops concept imagines a unique rescue vehicle for special-operations forces. It is based on the Silverado 1500 Z71, which features a new front-end design and new technologies built into its strong, high-strength steel body structure and fully boxed frame, and draws its design inspiration from naval design aesthetics. "This Silverado concept is a multipurpose truck that reflects the go-anywhere, do-anything commitment of special-forces teams," said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. The naval-inspired camo appearance, called Razzle Dazzle, was developed more than 100 years ago to disguise a ship's speed, direction and profile to the enemy's eye. It is based on a three-tone blue exterior color, marked by a distinctive array of varying colored lines and shapes intended to mask the ship. "We created light, medium and darker shaded areas within camouflage bands flowing down the hood, body sides and tailgate," said Todd Parker, director of design, Chevrolet Accessories.

2016 Chevrolet Camaro starts at $26,695

Fri, Aug 21 2015

Parking the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in your driveway will cost $26,695, including the $995 destination charge. That's a cut from $27,000 for the same trim on a 2015 Camaro. If you prefer a V8 under the hood, then the base 1SS goes for $37,295, compared to $34,500 for that model currently. The 2016 Camaro is offered as a coupe and convertible in four trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS. The LT is available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque or a 3.6-liter V6 with 335 hp and 284 lb-ft. The SS gets a 6.2-liter V8 with 455 hp and 455 lb-ft. The first examples arrive before the end of the year, but droptops and the turbo engine don't materialize until the first quarter of 2016. Base models come with tech like Chevy's MyLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, and multiple driving modes. The RS Package adds to the style with 20-inch wheels, HID headlights, LED taillights, a different grille insert, and rear spoiler. Opting for the SS brings a more aggressive exterior look, plus performance upgrades like Brembo brakes, differential and transmission coolers, and a limited slip differential on those with a manual gearbox. Upgrading to the 2SS adds amenities like heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, a Bose stereo, rear cross-traffic alert, and Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert. Options like a Magnetic Ride Control suspension and dual-mode exhaust offer additional sportiness. Reading about the 2016 Camaro is nice, but Chevy now has a visualizer for the pony car. It's not quite a full configurator but lets you check out different colors, wheels, and stripes to imagine your future purchase. Enjoy finding just the right combo. GM profit dips on truck changeover, but beats estimates

Thu, Apr 26 2018

DETROIT — General Motors on Thursday reported a higher-than-expected quarterly profit despite a drop in production of high-margin pickup trucks, as it gears up for new models that are expected to boost profits next year. Like rivals Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, GM is banking on highly-profitable Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks to lift profits, as consumers shift away from traditional passenger cars in favor of these larger, more comfortable trucks, SUVs and crossovers. During the first quarter, the process of changing over to GM's new pickups resulted in a drop in production of 47,000 units. GM Chief Financial Officer Chuck Stevens said the production drop had resulted in a drop in pre-tax profit of up to $800 million. Earlier this year, GM said its 2018 profits would be flat compared with 2017, but expected its all-new pickup trucks would boost margins starting in 2019. On Thursday, GM reiterated its full-year 2018 forecast for adjusted earnings in a range from $6.30 to $6.60 per share. The automaker said capital expenditures were more than $500 million higher in the quarter because of investments its new pickup trucks and a family of low-cost vehicles under development with Chinese partner SAIC Motor Corp. On Wednesday, rival Ford said it would stop investing in most traditional passenger sedans in North America. CFO Stevens told reporters on Thursday that GM has "already indicated that we will make significantly lower investments on a go-forward basis" in sedans. 2019 GMC Sierra View 21 Photos GM benefited from a lower effective tax rate in the quarter, but adjusted pre-tax margin fell to 7.2 percent from 9.5 percent a year earlier. Stevens said the company's profit margin should hit 10 percent or higher in the second quarter and for the full year. GM said material costs were $700 million higher in the first quarter, and it expects those costs to continue rising. The automaker said it would counter those increases with cost cutting measures. "It is a more difficult environment than it was three or four months ago," Stevens said when asked about rising commodity prices from potential steel and aluminum tariffs announced by the Trump administration. "But we are confident we can continue to offset that." The company reported quarterly net income of $1.05 billion or $1.43 per share, a drop of nearly 60 percent from $2.61 billion or $1.75 per share a year earlier. Analysts had on average expected earnings per share of $1.24.
