Up for sale is one of our 1998 Chevy 2500 pickup trucks with a utility box 2 wheel drive. It has 198000 original miles on the 5.7 v8 gasoline engine. We've had this truck for 4 years and used it as one of our service trucks for our construction company. It has been a reliable truck for us and we've only had to replace tires and a battery on it. It has some cosmetic issues such as the front driver fender has some paint fading and scratches and paint chips on the utility box but the motor and transmission run great. The seat has some rips and some missing foam and could use a seat cover as well as the dash cracked and a piece broke off over the years. The radio and AC work but the AC could use a tune up as it doesn't blow ICE COLD. It has 3 good tires that have plenty of tread and that are pretty new and 1 tire is also pretty new but is chopped. Overall this truck is a good reliable work truck for someone not looking to spend a ton of cash that needs to get the job done. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks

2020 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra recalled due to faulty brake component

General Motors is recalling 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups to fix a defect in the trucks' brake system. Certain Silverado and Sierra pickups were produced with brake-caliper bolts that were not heat-treated. Without heat-treating, the bolts are weaker than they should be, and there is a risk that they could fail, which would affect the trucks' braking performance, possibly leading to a crash. In total, 20,352 vehicles are affected. Owners of affected trucks will be contacted by GM. Dealers will inspect the bolts and replace those that are defective. Related Video: Â Â Â
