1984 Chevy SWB 4wd

Fresh built 454 with aftermarket comp cam.

700r4 transmission with np208 transfer case.

Transmission was built about a year or two ago with aftermarket parts. Built to stand up to 700hp.

Holley 770 street avenger carb.

All MSD ignition. Plugs, wires, 6AL box and retard box or starter saver.

Edelbrock performer intake.

Dana 60 front axle with 4.56 gears.

14 bolt FF rear axle with 4.56 gears and Detroit locker.

Solid axle differential covers.

Skyjacker 8in spring lift with 2in blocks.

42.5 x 13.5 x 16 super swamper boggers. About 300 miles on them. Still have tits on them.

16' Pro Comp bullet hole wheels.

Warn front bumper with 12,000lb winch.

Husky Floor Mats.

True 3' duel exhaust with 40 series flo-master mufflers.

I also have a set of 1 chamber flo-master race mufflers.

I have a new Holley 850 double pumper carb that I never installed that can go with it.

AC needs lines and Freon. I have the lines but they are not on the motor. When I put the big block in it I never hooked them back up.

Heat works great.

Brand new radio with a kicker 10' sub and amp.

Interior is in great shape as you can see by the pics.

Front driver side fender has a dent. Please see pic.

The only thing that I know is wrong is that the gas gage isn't reading properly. I installed a new tank and fuel pump about 6 months ago and it didn't fix the problem. I have a new gage that can go with it. I assume that was the problem the whole time. When it's full of gas the gage only reads at 1/2 tank mark.

I can tell you that the truck runs great.

I also have the stock 10 bolt axles with 4.56 gears and warn hubs and brand new brakes. Everything has been replaced in them. Spent $1000 on them before putting 1 tons under truck. They have zero miles since rebuild.

This is not a show truck. I built this truck to use, not sit in the driveway and look at.

It has dings and scratches on it, but would look awesome with a fresh paint job.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot here but you can email or call with any questions or concerns. I have spent a ton of money on this truck over the years which I know I'm not going to get back, but with that being said, I also am not going to give it away. Please don't waste my time if you don't intend on buying.

I will be happy help with shipping at buyers cost. With that said I have friends who are in the transport business.

Thanks

Chevy Bolt EV might not come to UK

Tue, Sep 22 2015

Anyone expecting the upcoming James Bond movie to feature scenes with the suave namesake cruising around London in a Chevrolet Bolt (yes, there are some of us around) will likely be disappointed. That's because it is apparently doubtful that the General Motors flagship division will make right-hand-drive versions of the electric vehicle for the UK. So we'll have to suffice with the dashing spy ripping around town in Aston Martins and the like. The UK's Autocar reported from the Frankfurt Auto Show and quoted a Chevrolet spokeswoman saying the Bolt with be "a global vehicle," though she wasn't more specific, or specific enough for the British. Indeed, GM is prepping to sell the Bolt in the US and will also distribute the EV in Europe with an Opel nameplate. This is how it worked with the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in (known as Opel Ampera across the Pond). That said, the fine citizens of the UK will be left out of the opportunity to buy the electric vehicle, which may make a pretty big splash thanks to a single-charge range of about 200 miles, or more than double anything that's not a Tesla Model S. The Bolt will sell in the US for $37,500 before government incentives kick in. It was announced this past February that the Bolt will go into production at GM's Orion plant near Detroit at some point. For a time, GM thought of changing the name because of potential confusion with the Chevy Volt, but GM confirmed this past spring that the name will stick. The car is expected to go on sale in 2017. Zombie cars: 9 discontinued vehicles that aren't dead yet

Thu, Jan 6 2022

Car models come and go, but as revealed by monthly sales data, once a car is discontinued, it doesn't just disappear instantly. And in the case of some models, vanishing into obscurity can be a slow, tedious process. That's the case with the 12 cars we have here. All of them have been discontinued, but car companies keep racking up "new" sales with them. There are actually more discontinued cars that are still registering new sales than what we decided to include here. We kept this list to the oldest or otherwise most interesting vehicles still being sold as new, including a supercar. We'll run the list in alphabetical order, starting with *drumroll* ... BMW 6 Series: 55 total sales BMW quietly removed the 6 Series from the U.S. market during the 2019 model year. It had been available in three configurations, a hardtop coupe, a convertible and a sleek four-door coupe-like shape.   BMW i8: 18 total sales We've always had a soft spot for the BMW i8, despite the fact that it never quite fit into a particular category. It was sporty, but nowhere near as fast as similarly-priced competitors. It looked very high-tech and boasted a unique carbon fiber chassis design and a plug-in hybrid powertrain, but wasn't really designed for maximum efficiency or maximum performance. Still, the in-betweener was very cool to look at and drive, and 18 buyers took one home over the course of 2021.   Chevy Impala: 750 total sales The Impala represented classic American tastes at a time when American tastes were shifting away from soft-riding sedans with big interior room and trunk space and into higher-riding crossovers. A total of 750 sales were inked last year.   Chrysler 200: 15 total sales The Chrysler 200 was actually a pretty nice sedan, with good looks and decent driving dynamics let down by a lack of roominess, particularly in the back seat. Of course, as we said regarding the Chevy Impala, the number of Americans in the market for sedans is rapidly winding down, and other automakers are following Chrysler's footsteps in canceling their slow-selling four-doors. Even if Chrysler never really found its footing in the ultra-competitive midsize sedan segment, apparently dealerships have a few leftover 2017 200s floating around. And for some reason, 15 buyers decided to sign the dotted line to take one of these aging sedans home last year.

Next Chevy Volt will be 2016 model and ride on new chassis

Fri, Mar 7 2014

What do we know about the 2016 Chevy Volt? Well, for now, all we can do is try to put the puzzle together without the box. Thankfully, a new batch of pieces has arrived from a new report in Edmunds, which says that the 2016 model year will introduce the second generation of a car that hasn't been dramatically updated since it went on sale in 2010. The new Volt is getting an "evolutionary styling change" and will ride on a new front-drive platform that has been developed by General Motors. GM's Kevin Kelly told AutoblogGreen that he has "no comment on future products," but he did acknowledge that Chevrolet is working on a second-generation Volt, "but I can't say anything about timing." Everybody already knew that a next-gen Volt is coming, so that's not a surprise. What we don't know is any real concrete information on the car itself. The few tidbits of information we do have help define the outlines of the next version of Chevy's halo car, but they're not confirmed yet. For the record, they range from the eye-raising (a $10,000 price drop) to the logical (20 percent more electric range). We can't see the whole picture yet, but the pieces do point to the 2016 Volt, which would be released next year sometime, being a much bigger deal than the last update, when the Volt's range was increased by three electric miles thanks to a battery capacity increase of 16 kWh to 16.5.
