The spare is not matching, tire or wheel, but is like new and will get you wherever you may need.

Exterior Lighting:

-The Blazer has LMC's aftermarket heavy duty harness so it pulls the headlights power right from the battery..  This helps eliminate the common melted fuse block and makes sure your lights get the full voltage all the time.

The dash pad was a brand new GM unit that was re-colored the factory Bronze metallic

The seat belts new LMC units front and back.

The Blazer also has an aftermarket  2 compartment locking center console with adjustable cup holders front and back

Paint/Coatings Interior and Exterior:

The Blazer has been repainted inside, outside, and in the engine compartment.

Prior to paint the interior was sanded and prepped for both paint and the spray on sound control. The parts that got coated  were the cab to include the shell, floor front and back, behind the kick panels and the interior of the door shell. They were coated with Lizard Skin spray on sound control.

The same was also done to the whole engine bay to include the inside of the fenders, fender wells, core support, firewall and underside of hood.  It helps with noise reduction and heat control.

Then, the engine bay was painted the same flat black as used on the 3 color Camo exterior and wheels.

The exterior was then sanded and primed using a nice Urethane primer, sanded, then primed  with an epoxy primer.

The interior and exterior were then painted using GCI's Current Issue Lusterless OD green for the base coat.  2 coats inside and 3 outside.

The exterior then got 2 coats each of the black and brown, still GCI paint, to finish up the 3 color camo.  The current issue patterns were used for reference.

The bumpers and grille were then blacked out.

Last for the exterior was the stenciling which includes the reg number, star, unit number, tire pressure and fuel type.  Most are military correct, some are for what the owner wanted.

Last for the interior was the bed liner sprayed front to back on the floor, on the inside facing portion of the tailgate, and up to where the shell sits.

THe frame and undercarriage were in excellent shape and to preserve them they were coated with a petroleum based undercoating by Rusfre front to back top to bottom.

THE EXTRAS: Lift. a/c etc

  LIFT:

THe Blazer has a 4 inch suspension lift by Tuff Country.  The lift includes their 4 inch HD lift springs, rear blocks, raised steering arm, and 4 new Hydro Shocks. The sway bar was lowered and had new polyurethane bushings installed as well.

  A/C

The AIR CONDITIONING is a Gen IV set up by Vintage Air.  It allows a factory appearance on the inside and keeps the firewall clean on the outside.  All but the condenser tucks up under the dash. To get all the specifics you can go to www vintage air dot com

The A/C does blow ice cold and the heater blows hot as well.

The compressor is mounted on custom brackets to allow the retention of the dual alternator set up and is driven off its own additional pulley that mounts inside the original crank pulley.

  Radio:
The head unit is a Kenwood CD player with Bluetooth capabilities, USB port, and IPOD controls.  IT also has a remote.
The rear speakers are Kenwood 4 way 6x9's in Sound ordnance boxes.
The front speakers are Sound Ordnance 2 way 3 1/2's  in the factory locations
There is also a self enclosed amp/sub combo by Kenwood under the seat with an exterior wired remote (By the 4wd shifter on the floor).
I can get actual part number if need be, i just cant find the receipts right now

  Towing goodies:

It does still have the factory pintle and trailer wiring.
The Blazer also has a Curt receiver hitch.
It also has a 7 way trailer plug with a Reese brake controller.  The controller is mounted to the side of the center console.

  Winch:
The winch is a Tiger Shark 9500 by Superwinch.  The winch mount is integrated into the grille guard.  The winch works great.  It has been used a couple times, mainly to pull Jeeps out on some trails in Colorado (The son of the gentleman the Blazer was built for goes to  college there.)

-There is a 12V power source mounted to the side of the center console

-New wiper motor

-DeeZee nerf bars

The average MPG for the Blazer on the Highway is 20-22.  In town was never calculated.

I am sure I am forgetting things.  I will try to post things as soon as I think of them, but don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions or need pictures

Also, I do have a 6.5 turbo set up and a serpentine belt drive set up that can be bought at an addition cost on top of the Blazer purchase price.  Installment can be arranged as well.  The reserve price and buy it now price DO NOT include any of these items or installation of them

GM's redesigned full-size 2021 SUVs face delay over coronavirus

Tue, Mar 31 2020

As General Motors works to conserve cash for the coronavirus pandemic, the automaker reportedly told suppliers that it is postponing development of several future vehicles. The situation may cause GM to delay the launch of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Suburban SUVs, which had been planned to roll out in April. The original launch plan for the redesigned full-size SUVs, which are some of the most profitable vehicles produced by GM, had called for production of the current models to end at its plant in Arlington, Texas, this week. After a retooling process, the redesigned SUVs were slated to begin production late in the month of April. In an email to suppliers viewed by Reuters and confirmed as authentic by GM, the automaker also said it was suspending development work on six future vehicle programs, including updates of the Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain, Cadillac XT4, Bolt EV, Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. GM said preproduction work on those programs would be pushed back to calendar year 2021, with most of the updated vehicles scheduled to be launched as 2022 models. According to the Detroit News, work has also been paused on the Chevy Camaro and a future version of the Corvette that has yet to be unveiled and wasn't planned for production during the 2020 calendar year. Last week, the automaker told employees and suppliers it was delaying work on some future vehicles while pushing ahead with near-term models such as its redesigned full-size SUVs and the GMC Hummer EV, Cadillac Lyriq, Chevrolet Bolt EUV and Cruise Origin, as well as its new Ultium battery system. A GM spokesman who spoke with Reuters reiterated on Monday what the automaker had said last week — that the situation with its U.S. plants was "fluid" and that the automaker would "continue to evaluate" whether and when to reopen those plants on a week-by-week basis, with "employee safety" guiding that decision. GM said previously that it was closing most of its U.S. plants indefinitely. In its Monday email, GM asked suppliers to stop work on all pre-production tooling and pre-production parts manufacturing, but also not to dispose of any tooling or materials. GM told Reuters it had solicited volunteers from its workforce to finish the build-out of the current SUVs on a single shift in Arlington.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic

Mon, Oct 24 2016

Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. You can check out Consumer Reports entire reliability roundup, even without a subscription, here.
