Beautiful 56' Bel Air for sale out of Louisiana!

Comes with a 283 V-8 with a 4 bbl carb and three-speed manual transmission on the floor. Under 10,000 miles on the engine since it was rebuilt. Exterior color is a 67 Charger yellow and the interior is a new brown vinyl.

The vehicle is a very nice 8.5 out of 10 condition, the heater is functional and working, always well maintained and always garage kept. Door speakers were installed, mild cam, ground up resto with a very clean undercarriage.

This car was purchased in 1967 from Texas and driven until 1986.2 years ago an extensive restoration of this car took place including rebuilding the front end, replacing all the chrome, engine overhauled, rebuilt carb, and stripped the old paint to bare metal and repainted the whole car inside and out. New carpets, all new safety side glass, new rubber all around, new chrome all around, and new 2-1/8" dual exhaust. Also comes with new Goodyear tires on slotted Appliance mag wheels that are period correct for a 60-70's period Tri-five Chevy.

Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power

The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January. Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car

It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.
