If you would like to see additional pictures or look at the van in person, please contact me by phone at 541-740-4262.

Multi-purpose van can be used for road trips with the sleeping platform or up to 5 passengers with space for additional gear.

I have built an L-shaped sleeping platform with space for gear underneath - it is great for going on extended road trips.

Since I put in the sleeping platform right when I purchased this van, the bench seat was removed and has been stored in a dry and clean location so it is still in like new condition.

If you are not interested in the sleeping platform, I can easily remove it and put the bench seat back in.

Mostly highway miles as I used it for traveling long distances. It has always been very reliable, but I live in the city now and don't need such a large vehicle any more.

ALL repair records and routine maintenance paperwork through first and second owner available.

I have added window tinting for privacy and there are rain guards so you can have the windows open slightly when it's raining and not have water come in.

Hitch with electrical hookup option for pulling a trailer.

Rear tires are 1 year old with not many miles and are still under warranty.

Tire chains included if you want them, but this van does GREAT in snow.

Original Owner's Manual included.

Additional Information:

This is the perfect adventure camper van!

I have used this van to camp out of and built a solid platform which provides space for sleeping while also having lots of space for gear. I am willing to sell it with the custom platform or without it. It has tinted windows and is white in color which results in it staying cool even in warm temperatures. I put window rain protectors over the front two windows so they can be left open in a downpour and still keep the front seats dry.

* I also have the original van bench seat (not pictured but will be included) which has hardly been used due to having the platform in it. It can be installed or taken out in seconds which makes this van very versatile.

This van handles amazingly in all weather conditions as it is all wheel drive (same as four wheel drive) and will come with chains (even though I have rarely needed chains because it does so well in snow). There is a factory rack to which you can mount a Yakima rack or similar rack system (Thule, etc.).

I bought this van in 2005 from Randy Jones Chevrolet in Corvallis OR with 94,128 miles. It had one previous owner before me who did all their routine service at the same place and at the recommended intervals (all of those records can be printed out and reflect all routine maintenance that occurred).

I have also kept up with routine maintenance at the recommended intervals. I have a file with everything I have done to the van over the last 8 years. Since I bought it, (excluding normal maintenance) I have only had to replace the power steering pump 3 years ago and 6 months ago I had a new U Joint and shocks on the front.

Currently the van has 219,000 miles on it. Most of those miles I put on it are highway miles since I drove many times between Oregon and Wisconsin along with traveling to explore various areas of the US (hence the perfect camper van). Not to mention I bike commuted to work and to run errands more often than driving the van short distances. I put new tires on the back 1 year ago. I also put a new AM/FM/CD radio in it. I know of several people with the same van that have gotten well over 300,000 miles on theirs.

I have since moved to the city and don't travel / camp nearly as much as I used to, so I got a smaller car to match my new lifestyle. I hope this van can go to a good home of someone who can enjoy it and get the most out of its awesome features! It truly is the ultimate road trip / camper van!

Chevy SS to get 1LE-like handling pack

Tue, Feb 17 2015

Chevrolet engineers have more plans for the SS, but official approval stands between their wishes and our driving commands. After getting the no-cost option for a six-speed manual last year, Motor Trend reports that some company boffins want to throw the Camaro's track-focused 1LE package at it. On the Camaro that means the Performance Ride and Handling suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and 20-inch wheels all around concerning the road-focused bits. MT says that a 1LE on the SS would shed the staggered tires for one size all around, and get new dampers and a new suspension tune. It wouldn't turn the SS into a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, but the SS could do even more with its 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet, hopefully without sacrificing too much of its plush road comfort in the process. It's said that a production example could be done in less than six months, but it sounds like the approval process will take longer. No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan

Sat, Jul 22 2017

Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)

Thu, Sep 30 2021

Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.   No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
